"Further along Colfax, the newly opened La Plaza Colorado has turned an abandoned K-Mart into an entrepreneurial marketplace. A fleet of food trucks fills the parking lot while shipping containers are being built out into 24 food hall kitchens." - Cynthia Barnes

"Before it opened, this sprawling Aurora marketplace hosted more than 20 food trucks in its parking lot; at the time of this writing, those vendors were in the process of moving indoors. But in the meantime, some of them are now parked around the perimeter of the building, serving up everything from tacos al vapor to tacos de canasta to tacos dorados — and the variety is only going to increase from here on out." - Eater Staff, Ruth Tobias

Fun place to visit and shop. It is set up like an indoor flea market. They have a very cool bar by the food court as well as food trucks out back. The menu at the food trucks is very similar to each other it would be nice to see more variety amongst them. We tried la Rana and had their birria tacos they were tasty.

Not at all what we expected. It’s like an indoor flea market. Very few of the shops were actually open on a Tuesday afternoon. The bar and arcade were closed, most of the food trucks were closed but we had some tacos at Meriscos El Aguachiles and they were tasty. I had pescado which were quite good and husband had an asada and another that I can’t recall. I then went back and got a couple quesa birria with some broth. Pretty good. The folks were so nice. We ended our visit with some ice cream from Frozen Island. So good! And, again, super nice folks. The young man who helped us was on spring break and when we walked up and inquired what flavors they had he exclaimed “You’re so lucky! We just restocked!” 😄 He was so cute! We will go back to La Plaza on a weekend sometime and maybe it will be livelier. The inside was all accessible but I’m not sure about the food trucks out back. There were two sets of stairs but perhaps there’s a ramp somewhere else. We never saw a restroom/baño. Lots of parking but beware of litter. We crushed a Coke bottle we didn’t see when pulling into a parking spot. I picked up the big pieces of glass and it didn’t affect any of our tires so all was well. 👍 Check out our Instagram @2_to_go for a full video.

I love it here! I can't wait until I can see the love band and do the VR. The food was good! There are food trucks in the back as well as food on the inside. It's the Stanley Market of the barrio. Plenty of vendors from jewelry, beauty and barber shops, pet treats, slime bar and much more. There's even a grocery store connected.

Ten decades plus this was the old Kmart. Out of the rabbish La Plaza, Colorado was born. Many businesses under one roof. I came searching for the Barra De Chocolate Dubai. I am a genuine sugar head, and I know my sweets. The cost for 2 candy bars is $21.60. However, they do not live up to the hype TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook claim. I would've been better off eating a jar of nutella. My sweet tooth would have been cured, and it would have been more delicious. This plaza has many other venues that offer quality goods. It's definitely a location to explore. Absolutely love Ahorra, MUCHO. You can enter from the plaza, but they do have their own entry in the front. If you're interested, look for my review on this wonderful grocery store.

I came in from Houston and this place is huge! Perfect place to buy Mexican traditional outfits to Huaraches.Nicely kept stalls. You can buy shoes here jewelry to dog clothing. Want a mix drink? Well they have a huge bar inside plus a play area for kids! I didn't have time to eat , but the food smelled amazing!

4/13/24-So even though people had been making a big deal about this place it is still being built. This used to be a Kmart and the are trying to turn it into a food court and shopping experience. Right now it is still under construction and for food you still have to go to food trucks either parked out front or in the alley in the back. It was also disappointing that none of the places had prices displayed. It should be required that all vendors clearly mark their prices for customers. This would also make the vendors keep prices competitive and force them to have unique foods. I felt that each of the trucks had the same stuff for sale and it is not like other cultural food halls where the fun is the vastly different foods each stop has to offer. What was there was overpriced for small servings. Overall a disappointment, but I will try again in the fall to see what it is like with the construction down and hopefully prices will be listed.

“Silver lining Colorado” Don’t buy from them. Bought earrings 3 days ago. Wore them for a few hours and a piece had fallen off. Went back and they refused to make it right. They said it was my fault. You can find way better prices over on 10th and federal.

Yelp
I kept being told about this place by one of my old roommates and I had to come and try it for myself. It's right next to a gym so it has a shared parking lot with plenty of parking. There are food trucks out front and there's food trucks in the back as well. Walking in there are lots of vendors that have set up already. Anything from apparel, footwear, phone repair, work wear and jewelry! There are loads more. I really wanted to get some Mexican candy so I got watermelon Chamoy gummies. Watermelon is my favorite flavor of anything. I tried a few different treats, my favorite treats were the birra tacos. The drinks were insane, absolutely outrageous for sure if that's your thing. I stayed for about 2 1/2 hours and I didn't even see everything. There was live music, a bit loud but okay for the event space area next to the arcade and children's play area. Bathrooms are clean and in the area where there are tables to enjoy your food, there was constant cleaning. I will go back when more stalls start to open up.

Yelp
This place is going to be a hit! Mexican market with food trucks in front and out back. This will be an attraction for all families. Great street tacos and fresh squeezed juices! While they're still finishing some of the vendor stands it will be a spot to check out in the future. Deff stop in for all the taco trucks

Yelp
Best way to describe this place is that it is a Hispanic flea market. Plenty of vendors of merchandise plus a salon and a barbershop. There is an arcade in the back next to all the food trucks A large fountain in the middle adds a decorative touch as do the colorful flags that hang from he ceiling. A good place to visit for all people and all ages. conveniently located by Colfax and I- 225 down by the Aurora Town Center Mall.
