They offer so much here! The grocery is really well stocked and you can find so much more than at the standard supermarket. They also have food, ice cream, baked goods and seating to eat there. The freezer section is huge and the meat counter looks clean and is stocked well. They have more than just Mexican items, they carry a lot of South American items as well.

Google
Such a gem! We love coming here. The produce is fresh and they have the best papayas! Their meat counter is expansive and I love being able to find all our favorite Mexican treats!

The fresh tortillas are delicious, the meat section is amazing and the meat tastes amazing! The produce is fresh. The pan is sooooo good and fresh. The front treat shop is yummy. Obviously all the Hispanic products are the main event as well, with a huge selection. Absolutely so happy I’m not too far from this store!

This grocery store is AMAZING. I will do all of my shopping here from here on out. The customer service is OUTSTANDING! I had a couple questions and the staff of the entire store was so genuine and kind to help. I initially came in for fresh torta bread from the bakery. But the store was so much more! The hot food is the best Bistek, beans, etc. I’ve had in Columbus. The quality of the steak is the reason I am writing this review. I was not expecting such tender, juicy steak. Every single bite was amazing. The bakery is mind blowing. Super fresh. The meat market is super fresh. Every baked item and hot item made in store is 12/10. I will never shop at Kroger again. Supporting this local business for life.

Same issues cashiers are not friendly rude and disrespectful I ask for another bag to separate the items because the bag was broken because she’s putting to much weight on it She throw the bag to me with this horrible attitude If you don’t feel be around people I’m sure this job is not for you.. Went to the food place same history just mixed with forgiveness I order food for my daughter and myself seems everything goes well but I noticed my food pass for 30 minutes I back to the counter and she said you food is been seating here for long and you never came but just what they gave me a wrong order and number no apologies no sorry when I open my food was damn cold Horrible experience!

The staff expertly handled a group of 60 middle school students! We came as the culminating end to theor Spanish 1 & 2 classes. They treated our students with understanding and patience as they practiced their Spanish. Even the customers who came in helped our students. This place had fantastic food for lunch, desserts and so much more. Gracias is simply not enough for all they did for our group. If you are looking for excellent food/groceries, this place is well worth your time!!!

Yelp
I think this must have moved, because my GPS took me to a mall around the corner, then to a gravel pile at a construction site, from which I was able to see the store. And it's not just a store. We actually came for the restaurant, which isn't much of a much, essentially the deli counter at the store. But oh, the treasures you'll find. They have a very basic menu- burritos, tortas, etc.- but arrayed in the cases are tons of premade bulk items. You can fill up a container with meats, rice, beans, whatever. Too much to choose from. Drinks were pretty much horchata or hibiscus, but of course you can grab a bottle from nearby coolers, and there is an actual bar right there too. We dined in, essentially felt like a food court. And had some of the best Mexican food in town. Beef in several sauces, ribs done 5 ways, a couple kinds of rice and beans, and much more. I was stuffed. Baby K got a cheese quesadilla and said it was the best she ever had, for what that's worth (it looked really good.) The horchata was very good. My friend had a torta plus some ribs and beef, and loved all of it. Then we went to the market, and it was a blast too. Got some baked goods, candy, drinks, etc. Plenty of dry goods, produce, meats, and much more. Friendly helpful staff, though a definite language barrier so be patient and remember your high school Spanish. We'll definitely be back. Lots of good food to try, and new ingredients to explore. Plus their macaroni salad looked amazing.

Yelp
So far everyone was friendly & tried their best to help me in English. My sister got lost going to the bathroom from the bakery. we just wanted some tres leche cake honestly. We bought a full cake which was DELICIOUS but their individual tres leches they sell by the slice is WAY BETTER. I will be back to try more goods! 45$ for this tres leches cake. I can't wait to try the restaurant/food court.

Yelp
La Plaza Tapatia is a grocery, market, restaurant, full bar, money exchange, and gift shop....all under one roof. On our day, Easter Sunday, it was extremely crowded. The substantial parking lot was full. The highlight today, were people queued up to the prepared foods and the bar. Seating for this part is ample but not on this day. It just wasn't enough!! The variety of food options were got were tasty, quality, and huge range of food types. You cant go wrong with anything you choose. New building and everything is bright and clean. Sales floor is well organized so in this way they differ from Saraga which tends to organize by region instead of product. Prices seem fair. On the West Side of. Columbus across from the casino. English is clearly a second language here, and some servers do not speak English at all. Be patient.

Yelp
La Plaza Tapatia captures the essence of Mexican cuisine, offering a menu that showcases the vibrant flavors and rich culinary traditions of Mexico. The extensive menu presents a wide array of dishes, from classic favorites to unique regional specialties. No matter what your preference, there is something to delight every palate. One standout aspect of La Plaza Tapatia is the freshness and quality of their ingredients. The flavors burst with authenticity, transporting you to the streets of Mexico. From the perfectly seasoned meats to the vibrant array of salsas and spices, each dish is crafted with care and attention to detail. Whether you opt for the sizzling fajitas, the savory enchiladas, or the mouthwatering tacos, you can expect an explosion of flavors that will leave you craving more. The service at La Plaza Tapatia is impeccable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, readily offering recommendations and answering any questions. They go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience, providing prompt service with a genuine smile. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with a touch of Mexican charm. The colorful decor and lively music create an atmosphere that is both festive and comfortable. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or enjoying a solo meal, the welcoming environment makes you feel right at home.

Yelp
the best mexican market around perhaps? i love their ice cream selection and the vibes are fun. easy to navigate and open late! the lady with the cute cherry earrings who works at the ice cream stand is always so kind and patient when my partner and i ask her which popsicle is what and what ice cream is what, she's so cool. anyways, i saw this little cake that reminded me of myself. good market!

Yelp
The last time I went here the shelves were better organized and there was a better selection. I was able to find what I was looking for, like El Pato and La Costena products. The prices had gone up significantly on some things like cheese, so I didn't go crazy stocking up. Got some wonderful produce to make pico de gallo and dried hibiscus flowers to make Jamaica. Also found a handmade molcajete to make salsa and guacamole.

Yelp
Not huge, but definitely a great addition to the neighborhood! A really nice produce selection with several fruits and veggies that aren't necessarily easily found at your chain grocery stores. Several ceviches made fresh, as well as a few hot meats and of course tamales. I've never seen a guava before, so I picked up a couple and will Google how to eat them fresh. Trips like this are always unique learning experiences. Several casings of pastries, of which you get a cafeteria-style tray, load it up with whatever makes your tongue salivate, then take it to the stand were they put everything in containers/bags and write the pricing for the cashier to include in your ring-up. I got a few churros - there's no labeling on the pastries, so I assumed they were just plain, but discovered they had caramel inside. Mmmmmmmm, nope, not that cheap liquid sundae-topping stuff, it's almost like a custard consistency; delicious!! They also had individual cornbread cakes. I'm interested to try this one, as it's more of a fresh baked cheesecake consistency. The bakery section was solid, and there's still room in the display cases for more sweet desserts as they grow. I picked up a Tres Leches Cake to test how well they're versed, lol. Pretty spectacular meat department, too! However, nothing had a price, but I'm assuming they'll be working on tagging stuff as soon as possible. I'm sure the paletas stand will be on heavy rotation come schools out, as I bet this place will be a great stop for the local kids for a sweet, cold treat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be stopping in here from time to time, even if it's just for their prepared foods, produce and meat varieties. Easily seen from Georgesville Rd, this is a good location, and they still have room to expand.

Yelp
First time here! Huge selection of hot, cold foods already prepared. Awesome fresh veggies and fruit to choose from. Extremely huge grocery store as well. They have a coffee bar and also a real bar! Place very clean and we had a great first time experience! Looking forward to going back!

Yelp
I love this place! It transported me back to Playa with all the delicious foods. I love all the fresh produce that you can't find anywhere else. White and purple sweet potatoes, cactus, papayas. Not to mention selection of ceviches..... The meat market --- phenomenal Bakery ..... heavenly I could buy something in every department

Yelp
Fair notice: I've only been once and I didn't eat the food. This review is just of the location, the amount of items and quality of items purchased. Bakery was too notch. Lots of choices including tres leches, flan and other delicacies. Bread was fresh, soft and tasty. I had a hard time choosing just two to take home with me. We were able to find a pernil for our holiday meals. They were even willing to cut it into smaller pieces for us. Lots of other meets that you won't find at American markets. Cheeses could be bought by the wheel or slices. The choices were vast and included many of the Mexican popular cheeses along with selections in American delis. If you're looking for European cheeses etc not the place to come. The food in the cafeteria seemed hit or miss. Some looked amazing but others looked crusted over as if they had been warming there for a while. They looked dry enough that it discouraged my friends and I from eating there. I will want to go back to give the food a fair shake. There is a whole candy store inside the plaza. You'll find every Mexican candy you could possibly want. Piñatas, party favors, etc. Prices seemed pretty decent too. Groceries included lots of Mexican items with a few of the popular American items. Great selection at fair prices. I'm a lot closer to Saraga so I will most likely continue to shop there but if I ever needed something in particular I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Yelp
This is my first visit here and I was so surprised at the selection of items! It's was such a large store and they had such a great selection of things that are hard to find. They also had a lot of prepared food that looked delicious. The store was super clean and the employees were nice as well. We bought a few different things to try. I will definitely be back!

Hannah B.

Yelp
I was glad to shop here today! Google, Waze hours need updated. Waze said the store was closed, but we took our chances and came anyway. I'm glad we did! They have a large selection of premade dishes, coffee, ice cream, candy (an entire separate walk in type of hideaway within the store) meat and produce. I got their store made guacamole and it was delicious. Some of the best I've had! We also got carne Asade and chorizo for this week along with some different beers, coffee and some produce. Definitely a fun place to look around and try something new!

Yelp
Love, Love, Love!!!!! Produce, meat dept, bakery, even a candy shop and ice cream shop. A cafe, coffee, fresh prepared food to go. This place is my favorite place to grocery shop. The dairy section is a bit pricy, but the other depts are AWESOME!!!!! Very cheery and inviting.

Tyler S.

Yelp
Gorgeous store that is kept very clean, well decorated, the produce and the hot ready made foods are excellent. Great guacamole and the butcher prices are very reasonable. The candy store, the bar, and the ice cream really take it over the top. I'll be back frequently!

Yelp
This is a review just on the restaurant. The old location had a great menu. The new location is buffet style not much to pick from and the food is mediocre. Hope they can improve the food. I will update accordingly.
