I’m almost hesitant to write an honest review of how much I LOVE La Pollita for fear that it’ll get so popular I’ll never be able to eat there again!! But alas, I’ll be the bigger person and share my love [of tacos] with the world. I’ve been at fancy dinners in Design District and whispered to my friends, “After this, can we get Pollita Tacos please??” Try their Avocado Taco, which is a personal favorite!!

This is what happens when a young couple with an extensive background in NYC fine dining decide to open a food truck in Miami’s Design District and make some of the best tacos and sandwiches on Planet Earth. There is nothing you won’t love! Alex and Luci use amazing ingredients (including bacon from Proper Sausages), make incredible salsas for their tacos - and you can finish off your meal with churros - With a chocolate dipping sauce that you’ll use a spoon on or simply drink if there’s any left??? But as crazy good as the tacos are, the chicken sandwich (and the off the menu swordfish sandwich) is the best I’ve had. Go. Now. (And check out the work on the truck, greeting cards and pins by local artist Beth Rhodes, @bethmade_ on IG)

Delicious, but small tacos. Cute outdoor location in the Design District.

This is the most unbelievable place. The decor is amazing, the food is incredible. It's a good truck, in a plant shop, the plant shop creates this amazingly romantic garden feel, and the food truck is a one man operation, with a man who's smart, passionate and an amazing chef, very friendly too.

Food is delicious! This is a place to please the palate. High quality food designed and executed by well disciplined hands. As soon as I have time, and a little bit of cash I will definitely come back to this part of Miami just for this. Even the Soft drinks they sell from Mexico seem to taste better. Thank you so much guys! I wish you both the best

Great staff - great food but tacos are way too small. Feels like you are eating baby portions and you will definitely leave still hungry. However cute spot in the design district - nice ambiance on a little corner - great on a nice day. Also, they don't serve alcoholic beverages

Thrilled to have La Pollita in my neighborhood- the creative menu and quality ingredients makes them stand out from their competitors. I can't get enough of the corn they make. Great vibes and the chefs are always welcoming. Awesome place to grab a quick lunch or dinner with friends. Highly recommend!

You'd never expect to find food this great in a garden market. Just fantastic! The corn and bean salads were incredible and the black bean taco was out of this world. (And I'm a meat lover.) Plus--fresh churros! Also has friendly service and a great atmosphere to sit and eat. 10/10 would eat again.
