I kept hearing how big La Pops breakfast burritos were. Well just that alone made me want to go. Well, they are absolutely the biggest breakfast burrito. I’ve had in a while. I got chorizo and egg, added cheese. It came to about $5.50. Just chorizo and egg burrito is about $4.50. It was bigger than my hand, and throw in some excellent hot sauce and you’ve got a great breakfast burrito. We will definitely be back again.

Was pleasantly surprised with the food; it was served very hot and tasted very good! Tried the fajita and burritos and both were good. Prices aren't bad either. Place is clean and very welcoming with the bright murals. Will be back soon!

Love La Pop! Only rated a 4 for this past experience which was not the norm. ** The good points: ** Location is kept up, colorful and inviting. Very culturally and personally touched by the family and staff. Order taking is easy and staff friendly. Very casual vibes but quick and efficient. Food - home cooked and tastes authentic, great! Lots of variety - especially for burritos. ** Cons (this visit) ** Perhaps it's because it had been some time since my last visit, or because we had a big order for a group but seemed a little overpriced. 3 per burrito - makes sense for perhaps a carne guisada or smoked sausage one, not so much for egg/potato or been/cheese imo. Tbf they make sure burritos are good size. Taste - this time for me personally I found the chorizo & egg lacking. Too much bland egg, not enough chorizo made for a bland burrito. Carne guisada was too salty this time for me. I didn't desire or worry to eat the last third of it.

The food is BOMB. So good. I rated it low because of the lack of communication and punctuality. This past Sunday I drove to the location and arrived at 6:50. Now the normal sign says 6am but I saw a paper printed and posted on the door stating new hours of 7am. Weighing my options since I was on a time crunch, I figured the food was worth it, and 10 minutes to open and maybe another 10 minutes to get my order would be OK. 7am comes and nothing. I saw workers going inside prior to, so I'm questioning whats going on. 7:10 comes and I'm turning my car on to leave when I see the open sign and front lights finally turn on. Myself and other customers finally can go in. Not a huge deal if it's a Sunday morning and your maybe grabbing breakfast and heading home. If you're on a lunch or time restriction of any kind, it's not convenient or punctual at all.

We got the Carne Guisada and it was sooooo good! We decided to try the bean and potato and it was really good. Good size for the burrito. They don’t post the prices though so that is the one thing I didn’t like about it and that is why I gave 4 stars. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Called in my order for lunch so I could just pick up. There was a long line and when I got to the counter to pay that's when they put my order in. Made me late back to work

If you live in Abilene, TX you know about La Pops. If you’ve never had their breakfast burritos you’re missing out! If breakfast burritos are not your thing, at least get a sweet tea lol. I’ve had one of the enchilada platters and it was good as well. If you’re in town, or just passing through, give it a try.

Ordered two potato bacon and cheese burritos but wanted to add sausage to one and get charged 2 dollars extra. When I asked why they didn’t ring it up as the same burrito, they said there is nothing they can do that’s just how they do it…. I asked for it to be explained multiple to me a and they said that’s just the way it is…
