We go here once a week for breakfast. I can't say enough good things about the place. We absolutely love it. Food is awesome, staff is polite and patient with our lack of Spanish skills (😄) and the prices are reasonable. I wish I could spend an entire day here just to try all of the food they have. After 5 trips we are still blown away by how good the food is. See you next week.

Really disappointing. Good chips and salsa. Good rice and beans. Otherwise everything is pre-made and reheated, which makes for very greasy food that seems the opposite of fresh. Any attempt deviate from the menu is like asking a 5 year old to cook for me. Yes, we would like the cheese (that you forgot the first time) melted on top of the enchiladas. Did you really need to ask? Not vegetarian friendly. Only one sauce, plus another 2 for tacos. "Service" was robotic. As far as decor, it's a converted market. That means you're looking at orange painted cinder blocks and rows of food that you can buy on your way out... Which will be soon after you walked in!

Yelp
Been a couple year's, no more Meat counter, they added BEER and more tables. Place packed with Happy Mexican family's at lunch time enjoying the authentic food from the homeland. Mega Deal three Tacos Lunch with rice and beans only $ 6.99 till 3 pm. I got fantastic Al Pastor Tacos Wonderful, she had a Double Steak Botona spot on. I also ordered a favorite dish only found a few places around town be Carne En Su Jugo. I was absolutely shocked by what they deliver to my table. NOT even close I've had this many times. Be a big bowl of Charro Beans filled with Onions, Peppers, Bacon n topped with Asada. They sent me plate of Steak Rice n Beans HELL NO you can't fool this Gringo. I asked what's up with this, waitress say she's always had way I describe in a bowl. I asked well do you have Charro Beans reply NO Charro Beans which are Whole Beans you know as Soup Beans. Sorry you lost 2 star's for this disaster, take the dish off the menu. #laposadadetroit @laposadadet #alpastortacos #botona #carneensujugo #fakefood #tacotuesday #eatswdetroit #motorcitymunchers

Yelp
Excellent tacos in SW Detroit and an excellent price. I had a beef and spicy sausage taco and an al pastor tostada. The taco was $1.50 and tostada $2.50. Taco was served with a lime wedge and 2 house sauces, topped with cilantro and onions Also, chips and house made salsa were brought to our table. The salsa was a slightly thicker/saucy consistency, on the spicy side, visible cilantro and onions, not like a pico just a nice, flavorful salsa. As for the house taco sauces i preferred the green which was a nice balance of creamy goodness and heat, and had a jalepeno flavor to it. the red sauce was spicy and more acidic, also good. The taco (campechano) had a nice spicy flavor and the al pastor was solid - hard to tell what/if fruit was used in the marinade. Service was friendly and the place was clean. If you are looking for fantastic tacos this is the place. The bonus is a great price. The place seats about 16 and is in the back of a small market - they also sell their meats to cook at home. if you are impressed by large fishbowl sized margaritas, wait staff that sings happy birthday, and a plate full brown covered in melted cheese, this may not be the place for you. if you are looking for tacos of excellence served by a friendly staff where you can also buy some spicy candies to take home, you will love this place. The friendly neighborhood atmosphere is five star.

Yelp
Hice una orden para un cumpleaños y la comida estaba asquerosa las fajitas sin sal el arroz súper seco y los frijoles sin sabor toda las personas me preguntaron que donde compre la comida y porque no fui mejor a otro lugar

Yelp
It was super authentic, I'll give it that. The prices/portions were great! I wish that the veggie taco had more than lettuce and avocado on it - but I made something up that didn't exist on the menu. They have a really good pico de gallo that is a little zesty, you have to ask for it. It is a market with a restaurant in the back. The restaurant goes to the market and takes the produce off the shelves. So it is FRESH.

Yelp
Best food on springwells no cap , mini market as well and their tacos with green salsa are to ask for more. One of my other favorites is their green chilaquiles with chicken on top -great food.

Yelp
Food is authentic. Fast service. Somehow it missed the mark for me. In my Southwest Detroit Taco Adventure -- Still El Primo is the winner.
