Restaurante La Prensa

Good to be back at La Prensa at Zaragoza for the 2nd time for lunch. A truly long-standing restaurant (since 1970) popular with locals, serving innovative global tasting menus & wine in an elegant space. Owner and sommelier David Perez took such good care of us with the splendid out of this world wine pairings and the inventive dishes by Chef Marisa Barbeán. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal a lot. A must visit if you are driving through. I would be happy to come back here again and again.

A wonderful gastronomic show. We spent over three hours getting impressed again and again by the non stop succession of tiny bits packed with wonderful flavors. There was not a single one that was not a delightful surprise.

It was one of the best experience of our food tour in Spain. They where also lovely with our children.

Worth coming to Zaragoza only to try the food at La Prensa. The food was a work of art. Each plate better than the previous. The service was professional, and perhaps lacking in warmth but fitting with the setting. We absolutely recommend.

Good choice, if a bit pricey. You must ask for chef Barberan and the "degustacion" menu which includes several entrees, fish and meat. As usual I visited based of fellow critics recommendations, so I was expecting the best and I was not disappointed.

We had tasting menu paring with wine, enjoyed food, wine and amazing deserts…took little bit too long about 4 hours

Castellano / English Llevé a mi familia a comer a La Prensa y nos encantó. La comida, deliciosa, estupendas recomendaciones de vino y nos lo pasamos fenomenal probando todos sus platos creativos. Pedimos el menú degustación, el más sencillo, y nos quedamos más que satisfechos. David Pérez fue encantador. Personalmente me gustó mucho más que Lillas Pastia, el único otro restaurante con estrella Michelin aragonés que he visitado. Pedimos mesa con solo un par de días de antelación y no tuvimos problema, pero era para comer y entre semana. Lo recomiendo sin dudar. --- I took my family for lunch here and we loved it. We ordered the tasting menu. Food was great, we enjoyed the wine recommendations, and we had a lot of fun tasting all their creative dishes. Owner and sommelier David Pérez was really friendly and very helpful translating everything for my American boyfriend. I personally liked it way more than Lillas Pastia, the only other Michelin-rated Aragonese restaurant I've visited. We got the reservation with only a couple of days notice, but it was for lunch on a weekday. I strongly recommend coming here if you're visiting the city.
