This bakery goes above and beyond! My family has been going to this bakery for years. I ordered my wedding cake from them last minute and they assured me that I would have my cake. They have a variety of pan dulces and offer a many different cakes and fillings. My step son loves their red velvet cake which we typically get for his birthday. We chose chocolate and vanilla cake for our wedding cake with coffee mousse center and strawberry creme. All of our guests LOVED it. ❤️

La Princesa bakery is my favorite and only go to for any pastries. Everything on their menu has the perfect flavor. Custom orders are easily to place and accommodate any theme and styles. Customer service is amazing even if there’s a wait they make sure you’re taken care of. La princesa makes everyone feel at home and now they’re pastries are part of all our family events

Wonderful experience here. Came for the Valentine's conchitas yummy. I was able to place an order and pickup in the morning. Also, I got chocoflan, churro cheesecake, and these cute hello kitty chocolates. Must try.

La Princesa Bakery: A Gem in Cudahy! This bakery is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Mexican bread. It's always buzzing with happy customers, some I overheard have been coming here for 20 years! The staff is amazing - they treat everyone like family, even calling some by name. It feels like a warm, welcoming place. I went for the conchas, which were delicious - perfectly fluffy bread with a variety of fillings to choose from. I also tried their coffee, which was superb, and the real star of the show: their tamales! The green chile tamale was bursting with flavor, definitely my favorite. Overall, La Princesa Bakery is a fantastic spot for delicious Mexican treats. The friendly atmosphere and high-quality food make it a true gem in Cudahy.

Service is amazing, people are very happy, bread is always fresh and delicious they olso have tamales are really good, always busy morning time ,I recomend this bakery.

Passed by this place as I was buying coffee at Starbucks. Stopped by to get a concha, to enjoy with my coffee. This place had a lovely atmosphere with a bunch of delicious options. Decided to try a little bit of everything besides the concha. However once I got home, im sad to say I was very disappointed. The bread was bland. DID NOT taste as good as it looked. I even tried dunking the bread in coffee to see if it would help. Sadly it didn't 😞. Definitely never coming back.

Bakers appear to take pride in their work, they have beautiful-looking pastries and they are yummy. Beautiful and delicious birotes de sal. Review update 2: BEWARE Customers must obtain a receipt to avoid scam overcharge, since one of your employees appears to be stealing from your customers or your business. This happened to me twice, the first time it wasn't a noticeable overcharge. This time it was and the employee tried to rush me to pay until I paused and questioned her about it. Then she nervously adjusted to the correct price. Maybe the bakery should display the prices on your bread to avoid this, you will lose customers if this happened to more.

Love this bakery! I have ordered multiple cakes from them. We have tried the red velvet, the vanilla, and the chocolate cakes. Plus different fillings. My family's favorite is the chocolate mousse and fresh strawberries and cream. I ordered my wedding cake from them and I was able to customize it so one section was chocolate with coffee, mousse, and the other section was vanilla with fresh strawberries and cream. My wedding guests loved the cake! Everything this bakery makes is amazing. Their customer service is outstanding. They will literally go above and beyond if they are humanly capable of doing so. They also sell tamales and coffee which are so so good.

I ordered some custom conchitas for my mom's birthday party and they were a hit! Perfect size and delicious, everything was amazing and so perfect!

Very friendly employees. Good customer service. They have a variety of tamales and of course good mexican bread and cakes to the order. We order chicken tamales for breakfast and they're good. They have tamales every single morning seven days a week. You can also order a coffee and a sweet bread of your choice. I really recommend this place!

La Princesa did it again! I had been craving moist and carne loaded tamales all winter. I'm so glad I waited to get my tamale fix with these bad boys! Tamale masa was super moist, packed with flavor, loaded with pork. I couldn't stop eating them. I bought a dozen for a very fair competitive price and let me tell you, I regret not buying 2-3 dozen because I just stuffed my face with 4. Thank you La Princesa for fulfilling my cravings and always stretching out my waistline. Ps- I can't wait to try your conchas!

We recently had the pleasure of using this bakery for our Dia de Los Muertos work event. The service we received was phenomenal. The Tamales and Pan de Muerto was the best we have had. The Tamales were brought to our event warm and ready to be served. The ordering process was fast and easy and the delivery was made right on schedule. I was also lucky to get one of the small cheesecakes to try and let me just say it was amazing. Customer Service is top notch and we love patronizing family businesses. Great eatings, always fresh! Friendly crew also! Good for the community also. The bakers are always there early baking sweet goodies.

Service isn't good. My order was wrong. I asked for a café con leche and the gentleman gave me a black coffee- Coffee was very watered down. I wanted to purchase an empanada but they seem to always be sold out. They have chairs and tables but I don't think the vibe is welcoming to stay.

Delicious pan dulce! Everything is nicely organized, making it easy to choose what you like. Came during December, so they have super cute snowflake and gingerbread men bread. They accept credit cards and Apple Pay, so no need to worry if you don't carry cash with you.

Absolutely delicious and amazing conchas! Ordering process was easy and pick up was smooth. Everyone is so nice and are patient to try and get your vision to life. We ordered these for our wedding and the color match to our wedding color scheme was amazing will definitely order again ! All we're gone before the end of the night and a definite hit! Came back after placing my order yesterday and finally got my birote salado. The lady that works here is very rude, she has no customer service skills whatsoever! No greeting or anything, she literally said "que ocupa?" I told her I placed and order for birote salado and she replied with "recibo" took my receipt gave me my order and said "siguienete"! Smh! So I came here to buy some of their birote salado only to find out that you have to pre-order a day in advance because they sell out quick. It would have been nice to know this prior to my drive down here! My 1 1/2 hour drive was a waste of time! Also there was only one lady working here.

Not only was our wedding cake beautiful, it tasted incredible! We had so many options to choose from, and Francesca was patient with us while we made our choices. She was so kind, and even gave us great suggestions for the cake stand. We are so glad that we met her!

I love princessa bakery so so much , bolillo is very soft and great taste , Conchitas are my daughters favorite , the only reason why I rated 2 less stars was because they run out of everything so FAST!! Tamales are always sold out , or if not very limited if you want Conchita make sure u get there early ...... Coffee is watered down now, wasn't like this before , empanadas have a tiny bit of stuffing , and bollillo with beans has WAY TO MUCH CREAM CHEESE !!!! Never make the same sometimes don't even have beans :( if they work on getting this better ohh man 5+ stars ...

The only reason I'm not giving this bakery a 1 star review is because the bread is fantastic. So I came in to buy briote selado but apparently you need to make a order and come back another day. The employee there is very rude and you must come back tomorrow if you don't want to wait she'll kick you out. so if your looking for some good briote selado you have to be prepared for the rude employee.

When i first found out this this bakery was for my baby shower! I was looking for blue conchitas and I couldn't find any place that would make them. I found them on instagram. I dm'd them and they quickly replied answered all my questions. When i say they did a beautiful job omg they did an amazing job!! Better than i had expected. From then on i kept going back! Fran & the LP crew are amazing at what they do! AMAZING!! My baby shower goodies,my sons 1st birthday,my little nieces communion,my nephews Naruto goodies,my nieces gender reveal,my little nieces Frozen goodies,my mothers 65th birthday and my sons 2nd birthday all amazing work! So happy i found my go-to bakery!! Thank u so much for exceeding my expectations!

Great bread. I've tried most of their baked goods. Love the empanadas. They have a good selection:spicy chicken, chorizo. They also have some French bread stuffed with beans and cheese. So good!! My only complaint is that they should open earlier, say 6:30am instead of 7. Most of their business comes from Latinos like me. They should cater to those who start they day early. 10/08/21 came in at 6:55 because I wanted 1 (just 1) piece of bread with my coffee to enjoy once I got to work. They were still closed. The girls were just tidying up, looking at their phones. One looks at me and points to watch and puts up 7 fingers to let me know they opened at 7. REALLY!! It was 6:58 by now. Not the first time this has happened. Very disappointing to know that the owner either condones or is unaware of this. Consider opening earlier.

The best service! Super friendly! Now.. the conchas... the conchitas are always amazing!!! They are so good! I always order mine ahead of time to any custom theme color.. they never disappoint! Highly recommend them!

One of the finest Mexican bakeries anywhere, Mexico included. What Juan does with dough, is pure culinary magic. Made special trip to collect some of their famous Birote Salados, and bolillo rolls. Had to wait a few minutes, after calling in an order the day before, but it was worth it. The Birote was a crusty, well blistered sourdough roll that is used to make Torta Ahogada. Just awesome. Its hard to make, so many Mexican bakeries don't bother, including Northgate, who normally has everything edible under the Mexican sun, but not Birotes!

The best savory empanadas you can find. The staff is super friendly and helpful, I'm always greeted with a smile and friendly wave from the bakers they the window.

Bomb Rosca de Reyes and bread !! Freshly made and the taste is amazing! I drive out there every year for my rosca. Definitely recommend the bakery and their customer service is great.

Went to get some tamales . I got pork , chicken and queso. In my opinion the tamales had too much masa and not enough meat or cheese. I also found the masa a bit dry. Maybe I went on a bad day since all the reviews say wonder about their tamales . Another thing , I found the dozen a bit pricey compare to other places . I paid 20 dollars for a dozen which were somewhat small. Basically, I'm getting my tamales from another place next time I buy some . However, the lady that helped me out was very pleasant.

I am so glad that I decided to chose this bakery to be part of my baby shower. When I say they did a beautiful job that's an understatement because they did an amazing job!! Better than I had expected. Pastries and cake weren't just beautiful to look at but they tasted so amazing the cakes flavors were so unexplainable. This bakery has become my family's new go to bakery and we will continue to order from them. Fran and the LP crew are so amazing at what they do.

We were so impressed with the quality of the craftmanship and the icing on the cake was the vanilla cake and strawberry filling was delicious. La Princesa Bakery is definitely our goto bakery for all our special occasions.

Love the sweet bread!! The chocolate conchas are price but delicious! The tamales are too dry for my taste. I would love for them to have salsas to put on the tamales. The bakery is clean and customer service is amazing. I love that the package the bread In cardboard boxes.

My co-worker brought some tamales to work about a year ago. And you always hear people say these are some of the best tamales I've ever had try them. So I did and let me tell you he wasnt lieing these tamales are some of the best I eaten. Everytime my buddy has a chance to grab some I usually order a couple dozen. I ordered Valentine's Day conchas and paid upfront. The lady I spoke to told me to pick up the donuts Sunday after "2pm" which I was ok with that. Sunday comes and around 2:10pm she called me and told me I had until 2:30pm to pick up my cochas since she was closing at that time or to pick them up until the next day and hang up. Her customer service needs so improvement. She was rude and unprofessional!

I never really write reviews but I had to! OMG the tamales are delicious. If you haven't had any, I suggest you try them. They are the best in town!

Good, cheap breakfast burrito from 7:00 to 10:00... $2.75 beats going and spending twice that amount. The fillings are simplistic (nothing but egg, cheese, and meat), but it was much better than going to Jack or elsewhere. Their bakery looks good and there were many people coming in for the rolls prior to going elsewhere. Will have to try thier baked goods the next time I am in the area. Not bad.

I love these tamales so much I drove here to cudahy from ORANGE COUNTY. If people don't like these tamales I feel it safe to say something must be wrong with their taste buds. They are always so kind,generous,and professional

Great little bakery near my home town of South Gate / cudahy area...we had been searching for good tamales open late at 8 pm - so we tried this place .. the lady that answered the phone was a total doll ! She went to the cabinet and actually told me exactly what she had in stock didn't mind that I called back again and asked if she had any veggie ones for my friend... we got there and she warned them up for us had them there and stayed for some amazing Pan dulce too !! ( Mexican pastries ) will definitely recommenced and will def be back ! Oh yea - don't forget to ask for some of the homemade salsa they sell to go!!

Great bolillo salado, prices are higher than usual for a bolillo. you need to place your order with time otherwise they run out and you are out of luck

This is my only place I get my cakes from and tamales , everything they bake or make is being great. The cakes are always fresh and never dry or nasty. Great prices If you ever want to get a cake ,come here I recommend anytime and any day . Staff are great thank you for always satisfying me and my guest.

La princesa bakery recently made me a beautiful cake for my daughter's Minnie Mouse themed 3rd birthday party. Not only was it was it adorable, it was also delicious. Some of the decoration was made of fondant which I normally don't like because it is very hard and messy to cut through, but this fondant was soft to cut through and looked awesome.

*Warning* this place is addicting. The tamales are the best their pan dulce and birotes for your tortas are delicious and can't forget to also buy a champurado it's a must try. I like to buy the little conchitas for my kids that way they can eat the whole conchita and get a second if they want. Customer service thank you!

Love this place!!! I was looking for original pan salado for my hubby's craving of torta ahogada and I found it here. I like it because it stay together for longer when you put the hot sauce and the taste was great. service was friendly and fast and I could tell my bread was fresh.

I love this bakery, great people, great food, great pan dulce and don't get me started on their addicting tamales. Its a bit of a drive for me and its always worth it because when I think of bread, this is THE bakery I think of first and only. A great rising bakery and I leave a review to raise their star rating because I couldnt bare to see them hanging on 4 stars.

This is my favorite bakery in the Southeast LA area. I originally discovered it through an episode of Eye on LA or Vista LA. My daughter and I went to try it out and has since been our go-to spot for pan dulce, tamales and champurado. Every once in a while, I will bring the pan dulce to work and my co-workers love it. Quality is great! Taste is great and their customer Service is great too.
