Pulpería Latin Mediterranean Kitchen - Review - Hell's Kitchen - New York - The Infatuation

"Pulpería, known for its drag brunches, is back in Hell’s Kitchen, a few blocks north from the original location. It’s the same team, but now called Pulpería Latin Mediterranean Kitchen, so you can expect seafood from several different cuisines. They also have two paellas—one with seafood, and the other with seared picaña and oyster mushrooms. It’s on 46th Street’s restaurant row, and they’ll offer a pre-theater prix fixe. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists. RESERVE A TABLE WITH RESERVE A TABLE" - Will Hartman

Absolutely fantastic! Everything here was on point, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. Victor and Carla went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The paella was not only delicious but carried that warm, heart-felt Latino touch that makes you feel right at home. And please, please try the Sangria, I don’t think I’ve had anything better anywhere in the world. Truly exceptional! If you’re looking for great flavors, genuine hospitality, and a place that makes you want to come back again and again, this is it!

La Pulperia just opened recently, and it’s such a great addition to the neighborhood. The décor is super cute, the service is fantastic, and overall the food is very good. It is definitely a place worth trying and one I’d happily go back to. We shared a variety of dishes: the bread with tomato “jelly” was a fun start, our friends loved the tuna dish, and Kris raved that the seafood paella was the best he’s had so far in NYC. The burrata salad was fresh and light, and the beef empanadas were tasty, though I personally would have liked more flavor in the filling (I didn’t see the traditional egg or olives inside). What really made the night special was the hospitality. The manager/owner came by our table, spent time chatting with us, and even surprised us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate my birthday. That personal touch made the whole experience feel extra memorable, and I truly left with a smile. Overall, La Pulperia is off to a very strong start. They offer great service, charming ambiance, and good food. I’m excited to see it grow and will definitely be back!

Everything about this restaurant was 5 star!! After a few days in NYC and eating at quite a few different places we ended our trip here. The food was fantastic!! We actually just ordered a couple sides as an appetizer and they were both great. The shishito peppers were perfect with the squeeze of lemon. Now to the Picanha Paella.....oh my goodness. The rice was great.....but the Picanha was perfect!! As a Brazilian I know good Picanha, and this was phenomenal!!! Of course no good meal doesn't end without an amazing dessert. These were both flat out FIRE!! Great place in Hells Kitchen.

Everything about this restaurant is perfect: the location, ambiance, & especially the food. In the heart of the theatre district, it's a perfect place to have a lovely meal before a show. From the Empanadas (try both!!) to the Burrata Salad & Gambas Al Ajillo to the Skirt Steak, everything was delicious & beautifully prepared & presented. We can't wait to come back & try the Paella &/or the Coconut Seafood Stew!!

Had a wonderful dinner at La Pulperia Mediterranea in NYC. The seafood stew was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the empanadas were just as delicious. Victor provided excellent service, and the entire staff was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend for great food and a friendly atmosphere
