"At this restaurant tucked away on a rocky spur in the old town, steep steps lead down to three terraces just a few metres from the sea. Enjoy simple yet delicious fish-based cuisine to a backdrop of beautiful sea views and the relaxing sound of the waves lapping against the rocks." - Michelin Inspector

The location is absolutely stunning – right by the water with a beautiful view. The service is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The food is delicious and fresh, especially the regional specialties. The wine is excellent and pairs perfectly with the meal. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Definitely recommended for anyone who appreciates good food and a pleasant atmosphere!

Food was good, but in line with what other restaurants in the area provide. A bit pricey, but I guess you also pay for the view which ia amazing - I happened to be there at sunset. Service was good, waiter was helpful. Although I made a reservation right in the restaurant, it wasn’t registered for some reason, but they managed to find a nice table quickly. Not sure why they have the Michelin sign shown outside. Anyway definitely a place to try for a lovely experience.

The food was decent, but it didn't meet the expectations set by Michelin. Guess there would be better view during day time. They charged a service fee of €4 per person, claiming it was for the bread, yet we were never served any. When we inquired about it, they said they had simply forgotten the bread. This was particularly disappointing, as we didn't encounter such a charge at any of the other restaurants we visited in Croatia (over 10 in total). Based on the service we received, I wouldn't recommend this place.

The food was good, but not exceptional. Our waiter was very friendly and polite. However, based on my previous experiences, I’m not sure why this restaurant is on the Michelin list. The prices are reasonable and align with the quality of the food. If you want to enjoy tasty food with a beautiful view, I highly recommend this place.

Subpar food on a scenic spot. Never a good sign to be at seaside and get a stale store bought bread topped with butter and salmon (???) as an amuse bouche. Why not use anchovies, baccalà, or something else caught from the sea? With the house recommended shrimps in oil with garlic and chili comes a basket with three varieties of store bought bread. Two out of three were completely stale. Shrimps are not properly cleaned, chili is tossed in with seeds and a whole load of pink peppercorns as well as a fried phyllo that ads absolutely nothing to the dish. Scampi buzara were overcooked and the sauce was bland. Also found a hair in the food. Disappointing experience food wise but the view makes up for a bit at least. Overpriced for what it is. Also great when they charge more than 7€ for water.

Had an amazing meal (Octopus Spring Salad & Catch of the Day in black Truffle Sauce) in an amazing location with amazing wait staff. Everyone was friendly, very knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. Be sure to make a booking especially if it is near the sunset as it is a popular place (for good reason!). A little more expensive than other restaurants, but in my opinion the value for the price was very good as this is not your everyday meal.

We visited for a special meal during our stay in Rovinj. We booked the romantic tables by the water but unfortunately, due to the high winds, we had to move. The restaurant was full so we sat on the terrace, which was still windy, but did not spoil our experience at all. The staff were fun and were able to laugh at the situation, despite it being difficult to work in the windy conditions. At one point another diners carpaccio flew off his plate! We had a nice bottle of red wine, which also acted as a counterweight to keep our table cloth down! I had the Shrimps in Garlic & Oil followed by the Ribeye Steak, medium rare and cooked perfectly. My partner had the Scollops followed by Seabass Fillets, and she was very happy with her meal. We dined during sunset, which was a little cloudy but still enjoyed the view. We then moved to another covered terrace to finish our wine and the last of the sunset. It was great experience, despite Mother Nature. We will definitely visit again earlier in the season next time. Thank you.

I am often a solo traveler as I enjoy it. What I have learned is that restaurants and other establishments that provide the same level of service regardless of party size are the best ones to frequent. For a Michelin guide restaurant incredibly disappointed. I was not asked if I would like my food coursed, my one plate sat empty on corner of table for 15, I then stacked plates, another 10 minutes, when the server came… she did not ask if I wanted more wine (which I did) or offer me the dessert menu… which I mentioned when ordering my apps. My glasses sat completely empty for another 15 though the two servers visited tables around me. I have lived in Croatia for more than 3 years, and this is my worst experience by far. Additionally the food, was bland and the shrimp had minimal flavor. I had been a few years ago and was excited to return, but will advise all my friends of another restaurant in the area which provided exemplary food and service.
