We decided to dine at this establishment due to its high ratings. The ambiance was pleasant, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating options. The service was attentive and efficient. We ordered a generous serving of loaded nachos, a combination of fajitas with rice and beans, chimichangas, and horchata. The horchata was refreshing and freshly prepared. The portion sizes were substantial, providing ample food for two individuals. The loaded nachos were exceptionally delicious, serving as a complete meal on their own. Additionally, we ordered the main courses,sizzling fajitas. The meat and vegetables were fresh and succulent, although I found the dish to be slightly greasy and salty, exceeding its intended seasoning. The chimichangas were satisfactory, and the sauce enhanced the overall flavor profile. Overall, it was a delectable and fulfilling dining experience.

Took a chance and rode approx. 50 miles to get to La Quebradita… it is, now, officially added to my “Foodies On Two Wheels” spots! Food taste and portion sizes were better and more, respectively, than expected. The service was exceptionally respectful and helpful. Thanks La Quebradita 👏🏾🙏🏾

Today was a perfect day to take advantage of the outside dining. The weather was perfect, and the environment was peaceful. The food is always amazing here I can rave about it for 1000 days but what I like to read about today is our service. Lupita was excellent on top of everything before we even had to ask for anything, She was already taking care of us. If you come here, ask for Lupita for the best service.

The food here is really tasty and the portion sizes are big enough and filling. They explicitly don’t have any vegetarian items, but they did customise items like wet burrito and Gordita into veggie. Their rice and beans are vegan/vegetarian as mentioned by them. Their ambience and customer service is great. Definitely going there again.

I had an amazing experience at La Quebradita in Homestead, Florida! The food was absolutely delicious — I ordered the quesabirria, and it was packed with flavor. My margarita was perfectly refreshing, and the whole atmosphere made the meal even better. The place is beautiful, vibrant, and full of great energy. Service was friendly and attentive too. Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to — I’ll be coming back soon! 🌮🍹🇲🇽

Lupita gave us excellent service! Amazing authentic Mexican goodness in every bite. Prices are very reasonable and the outdoor seating on a shady afternoon is a great experience.

I stopped at La Quebradita on my way back from the Keys, just looking for a good, hearty meal and this place hit the spot. I was craving something that felt like it came out of someone's grandma's kitchen, and that's exactly what I got. The food was fresh, flavorful, and comforting. I ordered the Mexican steak but asked for chicken instead, and it came with rice, beans, and warm corn tortillas. I scraped the plate clean, especially after adding a little of their hot sauce. The house margarita was strong and cold....no complaints there. They also brought out some warm tortillas with house salsa when I sat down, which was a really nice touch. The staff was super attentive and friendly. Even though I don't speak Spanish, I never felt out of place. They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I enjoyed my meal while listening to music and just soaking in the good vibes. Only downside was having to walk around the back of the building to use the restroom, but honestly, that didn't take away from the experience. Next time I'm in Homestead, I'm definitely coming back for another margarita and to try something else off the menu.

It been a while I don't visit I'm Bert disappointed I think they changed the chef i ordered the meat enchiladas suizas salty and flavor th meat was like not eatable my sister ordered the Mexican steak the meat was hard and raw dissatisfied and she wanted to go for her birthday never again

I'd be hard pressed to come up with anything negative to say about this small, authentic-seeming Mexican restaurant. Excellent all around, from the food, to the ambience, to the service. Let's start with the service: everybody is super polite and friendly, and have no trouble with English even though they, and 90% of the diners are native Spanish speakers. Invariably the door was held for me as I entered, left, and went to the car a couple of times. That and the clean black uniforms are not what I'd expect in a local "hole in the wall" restaurant. Order was taken and food was served in a reasonable length of time, I was checked on occasionally, and no problem getting and paying the bill. The place was clean and pretty, brightly colored tablecloths, the walls decorated with colorful sombreros and scarfs. I ordered the chile relleno plate and two tacos. I knew it was too much but wanted some to take "home"; actually to my campsite in Homestead. The chile relleno was among the best ever: a huge chili, coated with a batter that actually clung to it, and stuffed with, not the usual gooey melty cheese but something different and very substantial; rubbery like mozzarella but not. A meal in itself and usually these can be underwhelming. Served with chips, salsa, a very good hot sauce, red, salty and astringent, refried beans, and rice. And inexplicably 4 more tortillas! Salsa: thick, tomato-heavy, smooth, not tangly like most. Different but I liked. Chips: Far above average, a bit oily from being freshly re-fried. Salty. Beans: perfect blend of smooth and chunks, red, good flavor. Watch out for the bay leaf, if that's what it was. Rice: That perfect "cracked" texture that I've come to expect in Mexican food, lightly tomato sauced. And a margarita: In the correct glass, with ice, and perfectly rimmed with coarse salt. Not super strong but not too weak either. Probably not fresh limes but I'm not complaining. My second drink was a bottled sangria that I spotted in the beer cooler. It turned out to be non-alcoholic but I didn't mind. Very fruity, not too sweet, and refreshing. Meal next day was leftovers: the two tacos, a third I made from the rest of the beans and some lettuce from my cooler, and the plentiful rice still remaining. The tacos were a la carte and basic: just a filling with cilantro and onions inside a soft corn tortilla. One was barbacoa and the other chicharrones, both generous amounts. I liked the barbacoa a lot, heavily spiced and it reminded me of shredded brisket. The chicharrones, not so much. Interesting, but I think they need to be crispy to be enjoyed. These were not but in fairness that was mentioned in the description. Two good size meals and still some rice and tortillas left over, plus 2 drinks for a very reasonable price in the mid $40s with tip.

Everything about this restaurant is perfection. Small and full of authentic ambiance. Service was excellent and the food was genuine Mexican fare. We had the Margaritas which were "5 o'Clock Somewhere" perfect although it was 1pm and ordered the (Bottomless) Fiesta Bowls w/ Barbacoa meat. I could not finish mine, it was such a huge portion! If you find yourself in Downtown Homestead make sure you stop by with an empty stomach!

I have to start by saying the service here was truly exceptional--even on a packed Sunday, the staff was attentive, efficient, and friendly. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The food was a major letdown, beginning with the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were noticeably stale--not inedible, but definitely not fresh. I ordered the #3 combo, and it didn't get much better from there. The tamale was so dry it needed to be completely smothered in hot sauce just to get through it. The tostada was crunchy but lacked depth or real flavor, and the mini burrito was the only part of the plate that was even halfway decent. I'm a fan of both Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican cuisine, and while this place claims to offer both, neither was done well. One picky eater in our group ordered the steak, which, to be fair, was surprisingly good--but that's not the experience we came for, especially after making the trip down from Miami.

Decided to stop in, while on a random drive down south. The service was great and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back !!

What a great restaurant! Absolutely worth the drive. We went for an early lunch and just missed the crowds. We sat outside, they have a nice patio with lots of shade. Our server was a bit busy but took very good care of us. We had the guac, it was simple but tasty. I had fish tacos, they were delicious!!! So flavorful (not breaded) and I couldn't eat all 3. Others had fajitas and enchiladas, we all enjoyed our food. The spicy margarita was delicious! For dessert we shared a flan, we were so full of from the food, they serve nice portions. Definitely will go back. Give it a try.

We really enjoyed the food here. Traditional Mexican IMHO. They were about half full when we arrived. By time we left, Avery table was taken. The chips and salsa arrived very quickly (and warm) so we were able to look over the menu with ease as our little one was busy snacking on crunchy chips. We ordered the tamel for her. We had the enchilada, a burrito, and a tostada. Plus, 10% military discount year round!!!!

Great time a local spot which is the first time I get to visit. We sat outside for a splendid lunch and had lunch together. The food was very good and flavorful and the drinks were fantastic. They service was good and we were always provided with the opportunity to get refills and get our order just right.

I rode by this place a few months ago, I checked to see if they had white queso, and they did! So I added to my list of places to visit! I'm so glad that I did come back. I've been looking for a Mexican place in homestead that reminded me of my favorite Mexican restaurant called Ole Ole but it's all the way in Plantation . This place is awesome! The food is amazing! Definiitely authentic, the queso blanco is definiitely in my top 3 list, my server was very attentive, the margaritas were delicious and strong, I sat outside the atmosphere outside reminds you and that's the only reason this review is not 5 stars because just like in Mexico when we eat outside there are flys everywhere and we were definiitely fighting off the flies. Lol I caint blame them tho the food is just that good. I think they use fans to fight the flies but when I went the fan at my table wasn't working, I definitely will be como back for happy hour. I believe it's M-F 4-6 pm

When the night starts with salsa water and stale chips, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. We did enjoy our margaritas. When we received our drinks, I asked if there was chips and salsa. The waitress (1st round complimentary on the menu) said, I'll bring you the chips when you place your order. That kinda put me off because I usually have a marg with my chips and salsa, then order another drink. I try to space out the food and drinks a bit. The taco salad came with whole slices of tomato, that was a first for me. Usually it's chopped up or u get pico. My husband said his shrimp tacos were okay. I would bet they use frozen cooked shrimp. Maybe I would have enjoyed our experience better had we not had our overbearing waitress who had a problem giving us stale chips.

Amazing Mexican food! I had the sampler with taco, mini enchilada , sopa. The taco was the least delicious of all. My friend had a pina coloada and kids had quesadillas. Highly recommend great food. Small and intimate inside and room to eat outside. Go!

This restaurant has been around about three decades. Good selection of authentic Mexican food. Ample seating indoors and outdoors.

Another great meal at La quebradita. This time we tried the steak quesadilla. THe meat was quality and it came with sour cream, guacamole, and pico. We also had the molcajete, which did not stop sizzling the entire meal LOL. The sauce was rich and had a strong chilly flavor. There was steak, shrimp, a large jalapeno, cactus, and the fried cheese. The rice served on the side was very flavorful for a Mexican rice. Our only dilemma was with the cheese sticking to the side of the molcajete, maybe they can dunk the cheese in the sauce first so that it doesn't stick to the side LOL. Other than that, a great dish!

La Quebradita Mexican Restaurant is definitely a solid place to get some tacos. The place has a cool ambiance and the staff was friendly and professional. I find myself eating a lot of Mexican food when I am traveling for work. Number one, Mexican food is one of my favorite cuisines and second, I find that Mexican food is the most consistently good cuisine wherever I am traveling. La Quebradita Mexican Restaurant is definitely a solid option for Mexican food. I would definitely recommend La Quebradita Mexican Restaurant.

Even though the wait for the bill did take some time, I wasn't in a rush so that wasn't a huge issue. But the food did impress me! The carne asada! Omg! Melted in your mouth and had great flavor! Also loved the nachos! Chips and salsa are complimentary (the salsa was ok) Brought home quesadilla and sopa de res and the family enjoyed those as well. Definitely will be coming back for that steak

Only Mexican Restaurant I know that that charges $5.99 for Chips & Salsa & $2.50 for an additional Salsa. Plus wouldnt even bring them to my table until I ordered food even though I ordered a Margarita. Terrible way to run a business to Nickle & Dime your customer. DO NOT Waste your Time & Money here besides the food was Edible at best!!

I have been here multiple times and this place does not disappoint. Let's talk about the ambiance. How can you not love eating outside whether it's in the day or under the twinkling lights of the evening. This laid back, no frills spot is perfect for the family. The food... what can I say... AMAZING! My 6yr old loves the beef tongue tacos. They are soft and flavourful. We love the chips and picco and the salsa verde is a perfect addition. We always order the skirt steak and like usual for get to snap a pic before we dig in... it's that good. The Tamales, not pictured either, is delicious and moist. The only thing negative I would say is that I ordered the onion and cilantro on the side of my tacos and they forgot. Luckily it is not an allergy and just a preference. Highly recommend if you want really good food and no fuss.

I like going here. All though I always got the same thing I go there to get a good quesadilla. I get the chicken chipotle. Best quesadilla I've had. And the service is always good. Food comes out fast. Cute little place.

Barbacoa is nice and flavorful but very fatty. Carnitas were too salty and didn't really have much flavor beyond salt and smoke. The chicken was great. The carne asada burrito had good flavor and was very tender- nice size. Chicken chimichanga was good. The white cheese dip was very smoky, but good.

After a fun day kayaking in Key Largo, my family and I stopped by here for dinner. Beautiful outdoor seating area. The food was very delicious, my husband got the steak Mexican style, I wanted to eat it all. Let me tell you it was so good! I ordered the green chilaquiles, it was extremely spicy, but I could not stop eating, I finished the whole thing!!! I really want to go back for more very soon. One star off because service could have been better. Overall would definitely come back.

Great chicken tamales, but chips were cold and not great, same for the salsa. Prices seemed a bit high for what we got. We would choose another restaurant if we're ever in Homestead again.

My my my. Where to begin? This dining experience was wonderful from start to finish. The outdoor patio was exquisite and delightful. The complimentary tortilla chips and salsa were mouthwatering. The feeling I got when Paula brought out my chicken fajitas? Unmatched. Every bite was a flavor explosion. The cherry on top of my experience at la quebradita was definitely my wonderful waitress Paula. She was kind, friendly, attentive, and took amazing care of our 9-person party. Should I ever find myself in homestead, Florida ever again, I am coming back to la quebradita.

The aroma when we arrived and got out of the car was wonderful. I couldn't wait to go in. The waitress was very nice. Chips and salsa were very good as was the food. Will return when in Homestead and probably sit outside on the patio area which was breezy

La Quebradita is definitely among the best Mexican restaurants in Homestead. Our server Mahee was a darling, Paola & Jose were also very attentive! Props to the Chefs!! way way better food & service than the popular La Cruzada. Highly recommend you visit La Quebradita!!

I absolutely love this place. It's one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants in South Florida. There's a great variety of truly Mexican dishes, and the sauces are unbeatable. Try any of their taquito selections and you won't be disappointed.

Most authentic Mexican restaurant in Miami that I have tried to far!!! Came here during Covid, everyone was wearing masks and the place looked clean so definitely felt safe during this time. We were on our way back home on Krome from Schnelby winery and we were hungry and saw that this place was open. We love ourselves a good Mexican restaurant so decided to stop. And boy were we happy!! Cute restaurant with an outside patio - looks very authentic. Super cute. We ordered the fajitas and a margarita. The fajita - amazing. Well priced and delicious. The margarita looked super cute (very Instagram worthy) but could have used a bit more tequila for the price that we paid (15 bucks). My husband also had a corona which was 4 bucks, typical Miami prices. Overall, our bill came out to almost 40 which is a bit pricey for authentic Mexican food (had cheaper and better in Texas) but hey for Miami, this was great and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend if you love Mexican food (real Mexican food) and are looking for someplace new!!

I went here a little bit ago and never review but remembered how good the food is and just had to come and write the review! The location is right off of Krome and very easy to find if you're driving and looking for it! It's a small building but has indoor and outdoor seating as well. The service here was really bad though, we sat down and sat for at least ten minutes before anyone even came over to take our drink order. For food, we ordered the Chorizo Queso and let me say, this was some of the best chorizo that I have ever had. The cheese was decent but tasted like it was just cheese from a bag. For my meal I got a chicken taco, tostada and enchilada. It came with rice and beans, the rice was okay, I have had better. The beans were out of this world though! They were cooked perfectly. The enchilada was good but it had the same cheese as well so it took away from it a bit. The pricing was amazing and the food was great as well! I definitely can't wait to drive back down and try it again!

Great little Mexican restaurant in homestead. Good service and quality food. A bit far from Miami, but definitely worth the drive. Nice outdoor seating. MUST GET: the guac and chips, ( fresh guacamole, well seasoned, simply perfect ). Shrimp tacos ( big shrimp, tasteful, well put together ). SO SO: The steak quesadilla was ok nothing special, meat was a little tough. Didn't have to wait long to get a table ( sat outside ) . The waitress was nice and attentive, she brought me a menu and water right away, really good service. Well recommended, Will be back again soon!

I mean how is this not your favorite restaurant in Homestead! It's got an outdoor patio, inside seating surrounded by authentic Mexican decor. (My daughters fav is the luchador lol). The staff is always nice, not rushed, & providing excellent service. We LOVE the breakfast. Actually on our way there now & I figured I haven't done a review for one of my favorite places I need to get it done!! The food for breakfast Huevos a La Mexicana served with the best tortillas I've had in Homestead is a must try. The green salsa they give you tops it off with a nice mild kick. If you want a spicier one ask for the red sauce. I only have one small dislike & it's the taste of their water. Not sure if it's not filtered but I personally don't like to drink it. Overall do not miss out on this gem!!! And it has a DRIVE THRU if you don't like getting out of your pjs.

First time visiting this place and it was delicious! I ordered the combo plate #4 with the options being everything with chicken or everything carne asada. I did the carne asada and it was so flavorful and tasty!! The plate includes 1 sope, 1 taco and 1 enchilada suiza with rice and beans. My favorite thing on the plate was the enchilada suiza because of the flavors it had in it sooo good it had the heat along with the correct amounts of seasoning and salt. This plate is 15$ which is a very good price for the amount of food! The rice and beans were also fresh and tasted homey! My only downside was the juice which was a little watered down. Overall a solid spot!

Excellent! Great atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating, inside is small and tables are tight. Huge variety of fre ash great tasting food. We ordered a small nachos with chorizo and chicken fajitas to share for the two of us. We both enjoyed our food and felt it was plenty. Our server was friendly & attentive. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

I was craving Mexican (not tacos!) so my hubby & I decided to check this place out after a day at the Everglades. They have a great outdoor patio. Free chips & salsa when you're seated. I just wish they would fill the ramekin full of salsa. I tried the pozole soup, since it is only available on the weekends. It was a huge, pork-filled bowl of yumminess. My husband had combo #2 (tamale, mini chimichanga, flauta). I would come back again just for that chimichanga! It was delicious!

The food was amazing and the staff were so nice the appetizers are AMAZING!!! And the food is up to code according to law no mold nothing bad
