"Housed in a converted 16C Jesuit refectory, this restaurant in the Presqu'île district has plenty of character, with its stone walls, columns and arches, its vaulted ceiling, hardwood floors and tall windows. Chef Anthony Baud cooks up balanced modern cuisine that emphasises the freshness and quality of the ingredients, in dishes such as Arctic char with pak choi, or a delicious persimmon dessert incorporating ginger and pumpkin seed praline. The set menus are changed up on a regular basis to showcase the ingredients of the season." - Michelin Inspector
Lunch was an exceptional value - 35 euro for an inventive, delicious and filling meal (and 10 euro of that was for the water). I would feel bad walking away paying only 25 considering the work that went into it.
I had the menu of the day which included:
- fresh bread and butter
- pea soup with lemon sorbet - the flavor combination and temperature of the sorbet was amazing
- a mushroom bisque with egg and little corn puff-type grains
- chicken with chanterelle and other sauces
Presentation, flavor, and quality of the food was outstanding! Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

A wonderful evening with great service. The food was beautifully presented, delicious in flavour, gorgeous sauces, with the perfect balance of richness and freshness. Delicious seafood accompanied by fabulous breads served with home made whipped butter. The dessert, berry fresh was a delicious way to end the meal. The wines were also ideal to complement our choice of proteins. The only tiny thing was the need for just a little more accompanying vegetables would have made this meal 10 out of 10!

Great location, the place is very nice.
Food was also good with a nice and reasonable wine selection. Able to accommodate with food preferences even when going for the découverte menu.
The chef is attentive to feedback and also helped serving food.
Overall nice place to enjoy good cuisine.

I spent hours eating lunch with my friend. Of course French chefs have a global reputation to behold, so I wasn’t surprised by the quality, presentation, ambience and subtlety. It was my first visit to Lyon; I’ll gladly go back. Everything aside; I don’t quite know if I had the dessert, or the dessert had me.

Great experience, fairly priced, staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful. One caveat is we felt a bit pushed out after dessert, granted it was after 10pm if you like to take your time I'd advise to come early and enjoy the meal. I'll be back.
