Where To Eat In Barcelona When You’re Sick Of Tapas - Barcelona - The Infatuation

"If you’re lactose intolerant look away now: La Real serves some of the cheesiest burgers Barcelona has ever seen. There’s the La Real, made with housemade cheddar cream baked inside the brioche bun and a beef patty topped with even more cheddar. The Parmesan with crispy bacon is perfect for the refined cheese lover who doesn’t want to get their hands too messy, while the oozy Raclette is the sloppiest of them all. This Venezuelan-owned joint wouldn’t be true to its roots if it didn’t serve tequeños—or fried bread spears full of, you guessed it, molten cheese. A casual sit-down eatery, La Real also has a strategic location just a couple of blocks from Passeig de Gràcia, making it the perfect pit stop en route to Gaudí or Hermès." - isabelle kliger

La Real is an excellent burger spot right in the heart of Eixample. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, with easy access and a relaxed vibe that makes it a great place to sit down and enjoy a proper burger. The food did not disappoint: the buns were soft and flavorful, the burgers were cooked perfectly to the right point, and the fries — whether classic or truffle — came out crispy and delicious. I also really appreciated the small details, like having mayo, ketchup, and mustard available in squeeze bottles at the table. We tried the La Real and the Raclette burgers, and both were outstanding. Great balance of flavors, generous portions, and a price that’s more than fair for the quality you get. Service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. All in all, La Real is a must-try for burger lovers in Barcelona. We left fully satisfied and will definitely be back.

We went to the sister restaurant in Poblenou for years which is now unfortunately closed. Burgers are as good as we remember, juicy, generous on cheese. Sweet potato fries were delicious - on the crispy side which I like. Fast service, plenty of seating inside.

Fantastic burger joint! We normally go for smash burgers, but we wanted to try this place out as it's right around the corner from our apartment. We tried the double classic and added lettuce. It was absolutely amazing. We ordered it 3/4 done (that's an option you'll see on the menu, which means medium well). It had a perfect amount of pink as we don't like a rare burger, nor do we like a dry patty, so 3/4 was right on the money. In addition, we got the onion blossom, and for those of you who remember the Bloomin Onion from Outback, this was better! The fries were delicious as well. Lastly, we got the mini-chicken fingers, which came with 3 fingers and fries. These were a delicious starter. There are several other burgers on the menu that we want to go back and try when we aren't craving a classic cheeseburger style! I highly recommend La Real for that perfect classic burger and fries.

I wanted to write this review for the small restaurant "La Real Hamburgueseria - located in the Time Out market" in Barcelona, but that location does not come up in the list, so I will post my review on this location. I ordered a "Real Tenera" from "La Real Hamburgueseria - Time Out Market" a week ago. It is advertised as having "Queso cheddar, bacon crujiente y crema de queso cheddar gratinada en cada pan." I will tell you that the burger was totally inedible. It was smothered in a sauce that had the consistency of mushy egg salad, and kind of a similar taste. I tried to scrape the crap off the burger but couldn't get it all off. I gave up and threw the burger away. It was disgusting. At least the truffle parmesan fries were yummy. So they were my lunch.

Finally we visited La Real last week and it was great. One of the best burgers we have ever eaten. We asked for medium meat and it was delicious. We tried La Real 2.0 and the Raclette. I can not say which one was better because both of them were excellent. A really really good place to eat premium burgers. It is worth it.

Google
Nice people making gourmet burgers in the heart of Barcelona. The smash burgers are on point - our kids loved them so much, too, so that we had to come back a second time. Very friendly and helpful service- keeps this place special.

Without a doubt the best burger I’ve had in Barcelona YET.

Had a Brie burger with gluten free bread and I really enjoyed it. If you like chilly flavors ask for the boniato for garnish!

Yelp
The staff here are so nice. Al of the burgers sound so delicious but I found they didn't live up to what we expected. The porch belly burger was seasoned great. All the flavour was there but close to the centre of the meat was pretty dry. The parts bravas were also underwhelming. Not the best sauce combo
