Came by for lunch craving tacos. So I ordered the 3 tacos and a side item deal. I ordered Al Pastor taco, Pescado (fish) taco, the Aguacate taco and some seasoned fries. Out of the 3, my favorite was the Al Pastor taco. So much flavor with a hint of sweet. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Google
This place was good. Don't come here expecting authentic Mexican flavors but their flavors are good. The CDMX "quesadilla" was flavorfull and loved the homemade taste. The only thing we all didnt like was the al pastor. But everything else was delicious. Would certainly come here again.

Google
Super fast service and great food. We thought the prices were very reasonable and a variety of beer on tap. I highly recommend going to this local joint.

Google
We stopped in for lunch and a few drinks before heading to a concert at Balloon Fiesta Park, and I’m so glad we chose La Reforma. After checking out the area, this place stood out as the closest highly rated restaurant and it did not disappoint. We were greeted by Sean, who was tending bar and, as we found out, is also a manager. Sean was fantastic friendly, welcoming, and full of great recommendations. He even shared a bit of La Reforma’s history, which added a nice personal touch to our visit. We tried several of their mixed drinks, sampled a few of their beers, and had the nachos with queso dip. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. On top of that, the atmosphere is great comfortable, relaxed, and inviting. If I were a local, this would definitely be one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend!

Google
Stopped in on a Sunday for some tacos, quesadillas, and posole and had a great meal. The quesadillas are definitely the winner of the table, but the tacos were also very good too. The posole was also very good, but it's hard to beat homemade. Overall, highly recommend.

Google
Rolled up exhausted and starving with my picky first grader, had tacos al pastor (delicious, with a properly spicy serrano salsa and a milder red) and the dark Mexican lager, and got my kiddo fries and a pile of taco chicken in a cardboard bowl. Kiddo loved the food and ate enough that we even went on to eat churros con cajeta for dessert. Great spot, great food, great service, and super close to the highway so we didn’t have to go far off our route.

Google
Very attentive service! And our food came super fast! I was so surprised. Pozole and chefs salad were so tasty! Not many places serve pozole with fresh cabbage, which I appreciate. Salad was amazing, and I wish there could be more other ingredients rather than greens. I look forward to coming back and trying different food.

Google
nice open space for dining . great art . the 2 taco pollo was cold . shredded cheese - not melted . - the tacos were small . tortillas small . amount of chicken, small . the food was disappointing . they have margaritas but only on the rocks & they fill that glass UP w ice . the drink was disappointing . they Do have Brew Lab cider which is good . and the art is really good . all the art is same artist but not noted anywhere . just for the curious - it would be cool . i hate to say I won't go back . maybe there's something better on the menu . maybe I should have just gone with cider . but those tacos - street tacos are so much better

Yelp
Good Food. The Mex Lager craft was very good. Service good. Nice place! A little loud with acoustics but that's normal anymore.

Yelp
Always delicious and worth the wait. Love the beer & cocktail offerings. Tacos are always on point. And who can argue with their amazing nacho spread or churros to close out the meal. Yum!! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable on their menu with great suggestions for those who are undecided. They have fun swag too!

Yelp
Arrived awaiting my friend and the place is busy! Seated quickly and luckily I got here before the afternoon crowd. Staff is on it with quick attention! The place is casual and dark for a bit of a romantic setting but not too dark to look rapey. Very good food and drink menu with something for everyone. Food was delicious and filled our tummy! Everything was on point as expected! The whole place was clean and had a good vibe! We'll be back!

Yelp
This place has great food and a nice atmosphere. It felt a lot like a sports bar, so if you like that kind of thing, this is your place. The tacos were awesome!

Yelp
Overall: La Reforma is the perfect spot if you want decent Mexican food and tasty drinks. It's not the most authentic, but they do a good job of making an enjoyable meal. Food: 4 Carne Asada Fries: The fries were crispy and I liked the toppings (shredded cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole). I wish there was more guacamole and the carne asada was better seasoned, but I would definitely eat this here again. Carne Asada Torta: The telera bread wasn't the best that I've had and I wish it was more toasted. Again, I wish the meat was better seasoned. Overall, it was an okay torta but a little bland. El Tri: This watermelon cocktail was recommended by the waiter when asked for a sweeter drink. It definitely meets the criteria. It wasn't too sweet and had a hint of acidity and freshness. Service: 5 Our server was fantastic. He was patient with our questions and requests. Ambiance: 5 This brewery is in an unassuming plaza with lots of parking. There is lots of seating including at the bar, dining tables, or high tops.

Yelp
Tried La Reforma last night and was surprised at how packed this place was. (Guess my food picture disappeared off my phone). We started off with the carne asada fries ($13.50), which were good with a little kick, good crispy fries, and a good portion. My friend got the Mexican coke (bottled) with a carne asada quesadilla and I got the 2 taco plate (carne asada taco, fish taco, and side of slaw) with a blackberry passion fruit agua fresca. Food took a little longer to come out. I liked the carne asada taco best, which had moist, tender pieces of meat compared to the pieces on the fries. I wanted to like the fish taco, but it was a little plain. The agua fresca ($3) was the flavor of the day and was interesting in a good way, with the passion fruit taking over most of the flavor. 2024 #62

Yelp
Came here because we wanted a torta and looked like they would be good. Well no not so much. BIL got the carne asada which was not steak at all but ground beef (?) and I got the Al pastor which was DRY!! Also there wasn't that much meat in either. The beer was good, I guess that's a saving grace, which was nice. If you want decent Mexican try another place but the beers were good. Service was great though!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for a date night and totally enjoyed our time here. The staff was great and attentive and the beers were awesome. The tacos were really good; the Al pastor and the fish were fantastic the tempura avocado was ok but lacked flavor. But my wife got the carne asada which was so good, so I'll get that next time. Overall would come back again and recommend to anyone. Churros= yum yum

Yelp
Pretty good, hit or miss the last few times I've been. When it's good it's heavily, other times seems under seasoned or a bit watery (I.e Salsa) Taps are also okay, bar too mildly uncomfortable. Nachos and Elotes I recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Food is pretty good. Service alright? Kitchen extremely SLOW. No apology for delay in food delivery to table. Soup delivered first, corn and tacos (which were tepid) came 15 minutes later, and this after an extensive wait. Why the wait?! Nothing that was ordered took time to actually cook. Other tables got food deliveries in a reasonable period of time. Disappointing. Ambience is your typical trendy bar scene. Music was repetitive and annoying. Sorta mariachi, but not even that good. Feel like the rating lead ME astray. Nothing else to add really.

Yelp
Is it bad to say that I come to La Reforma Brewery for their food? It couldn't be right? Especially when their corn tortillas are made fresh daily in the back! You can't go wrong. Came for a quick lunch with my sister and we shared 'Chef Javi's Delicious Salad' along with several tacos. Our server had our salad split into two portions for us which was really nice of her to do for us, we hadn't asked. We got it as it comes with no protein, since we had 4 tacos coming. We also ordered both of the dressing options as well. They were both, so tasty! Should you order the salad? The answer is yes! It was delicious, it even comes with little cubes of watermelon (which I do not normally like), delightfully refreshing. What about the tacos? We ordered two asada, a pescada and an al pastor. The asada is my favorite. And you don't need to worry about scarfing your tacos down before your tortilla falls apart. They won't. Come get you some. If you are not on your lunch break like me, then you can have a beer to wash it all down.

Yelp
Came here to meet some friends I haven't seen in years. Great food at a great price. I got a burrito. Could barely finish it. Staff was attentive. No complaints.
google avatar

Bill M.

Yelp
We haven't been here for a while, and when Di suggested it I was kind of cold on it, but I went along with it. It was great. I ordered differently than before, keeping things simple. Had two great tacos, aguacate and fish, a little side of fries and one of their beers. Nice meal, great service. Di ordered their specialty salad and loved it.

Yelp
We joined my boyfriend's family for lunch at La Reforma and it may be my favorite Mexican food in New Mexico. Being from San Diego, I liked that it felt a bit more familiar and I immediately jumped on an order of carne asada fries. The fries were seasoned and topped with steak, cheese, sour cream and guacamole with a side of pico (so I could top it with just the tomatoes and avoid onions) and jalapenos. The portion size is perfect to share for a light eater. My vegetarian boyfriend decided to try the avocado torta with a side of fries and the avocado is fried. The bread looked really good and I'm tempted to try a carne asada or chicken torta in the future. We started with a side of chips, salsa and guac but I'm not sure it's worth almost $10.

Yelp
Got some tacos, Pollo Asado, Al Pastor and one Fish. But the pozole stole the show. One of the best I've had.

Yelp
Stopped in for a beer and a bite after visiting the Fiery Foods Show. This is always a nice place to eat as the food is consistent and they have a good beer selection. I decided to try the CDMX Quesadillas. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. I loved them! It was kind of like eating a fried cheese tamale. Yum times 10! The salsas were really good with them as well. We will definitely order them as an appetizer in the future!

Yelp
Fabulous brewpub with great beers and tasty foods. I chose La Reforma for my ABQ meetup and it turned out quite well. I was early and found a nice table with a power outlet. A beer later, I'm feeling mellow and enjoying my time here for sure. Chicken quesadilla and the carne asada fries not only looked fantastic, they tasted delicious. Easy shareables, huge portions and reasonable prices. I had a lovely evening at La Reforma. [Review 21092 overall - 138 in New Mexico - 55 of 2024.]

Yelp
I have been in Albuquerque for a bit over two months. I eat out every day. This place I found by accident and it has been the best experience I have had. Good food. Very good beer. Excellent service. More than reasonable prices. I absolutely recommend it.

Yelp
10/10 recommend food was amazing and delicious! Service was excellent! And a very chill cool vibe! Must try!

Yelp
This is my ABQ Beer Passport review for La Reforma Brewery. This is a restaurant that serves beer. They pride themselves on their food first. It was a full house at 7pm on a Thursday. We had the carne asada fries, elote, and chicken tacos with cilantro slaw. All were amazing. One note for those with a delicate constitution (such as myself), the food has more seasonings than most restaurants. I had their Maximilian beer, a dark lager, which I enjoyed a lot. They have a half dozen house pours, plus a few seasonal and other local beers. Service was extremely good and pleasant. Being a restaurant, they strictly follow the stupid NM 3 beer limit and do not offer anything larger than pints. I did not see if they offered flights. There is no patio and only service dogs are allowed. Parking is in a private lot that is in a strip mall like structure. They do not fill growlers but do offer crowlers to go. They also appear to distill their own vodka, gin, and tequila. It seems that the beer isn't as much a priority as other breweries as there is no signage, awards, or swag highlighting their brews. So, as a restaurant, I'd give it 4.5 stars for the great food and service. However, as a brewery, it just doesn't emphasize their beer enough and doesn't have the brewpub ambience that I'd want to enjoy knocking back a few pints with friends at.

Brandi Y.

Yelp
Food, service and drinks are always above and beyond. Everyone I have taken there LOVES it.

Yelp
3 Stars = Okay. I think I come in with high expectations especially when people tell me "it's amazing" or "the best you'll ever have". We came for taco Tuesday and to be honest the tacos were...not great. The best taco they served was the Fish taco. I definitely recommend that. The beers were alright - nothing mind blowing. I think we were very disappointed with the tacos. We ordered carne asada and it was ground meat vs strips of steak. If I read taqueria, I'm expecting authentic tacos...not the generic version...Ground meat for carne asada...eehhh. The flavors were not there either. If you're used to authentic Mexican tacos then know these tacos don't even come close. So! It is not amazing nor "the best you'll ever have", but it's still worth checking out. Grab some beers and stick with the fish tacos. You won't be disappointed with the fish tacos.

Yelp
One of the best brewery/restaurants in Albuquerque! From their food to beer and cocktails, you can't go wrong with this place! Quesadilla and carne asada fries were yum! Very busy each time we go here, obviously a popular restaurant. Was able to order a beer as we waited for a table, they are worth the wait (if there is one)! I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
First time at this brewery and it was a great experience. Food, Service and Beer was on point in every way. Large TVs and comfortable seating round out the ambiance.

Monica O.

Yelp
Good, easy dining. Customer service is good. Ambiance is clean and casual. Food tastes great!

Yelp
I've been coming to La Reforma for about 4 years now. Every time I've to La Reforma I've had an amazing experience from the service to the food. Their food is wonderful, especially for a brewery! I've had their carne asada fries, tacos, and burritos. I've enjoyed them all. Service has always been quick and friendly. Overall, the facility is nice inside. Only room for improvement would be a view or the Sandia Mountains! Their beer is good but not great. They need a few more options like sour beers to appeal to all palates.

Margarita B.

Yelp
Great drinks but didn't really care for the food. Tortillas tasted stale. It was just ok.
google avatar

Lorena G.

Yelp
We found this place on Yelp. We are from Texas in town for a concert and decided to give this place a go. The service was great we were seated in about 10 mins. The drinks were amazing I had a hibiscus water, it was so good and my husband had two craft beers. He said the one that had a coffee and cinnamon flavor to it was one of the best craft beers he's had. Overall amazing experience would stop here again.

Yelp
Strip malls can hold hidden treasures? What a tucked away little "fine" dining option... no need to flaunt it when you're this good. Very cute space as soon as you cross the threshold. Modern & artistic Urban vibe . Our charming server had great suggestions... including the El Tri cocktail! And was in sympathy that the "in house made rum".... Tasted like Tequila? So warning on Rum Drinks .... Fo Food was altogether tasty . The Javis Salad was a tasty mix of textures .... Crunch suprise . We did enjoy the CDMX quesadilla starter &, pastor pineapple burrito and Asada fries as well ! Definitely recommend and would come again . Especially combined with getting a room a the Quality Inn with Whirlpool Spa RIGHT NEXT DOOR !

Yelp
We ordered a carne asada burrito, a pollo asado quesadilla and carne asada fries. $30. Even though the restaurant was not busy, what we were brought was a carne asada burrito, a carne asada quesadilla and carne asada fries. Sadly, La Reforma does their carne asada different than most restaurants. The steak is cut into extremely small (and hard) pieces - almost as small as ground beef. This made for some hard and dry food. All three items were not delicious. The taco is smaller than we expected. The cups of sauce in the photos are about the circumference of your finger. But, the mistake by the waitress and the dry food means I cannot recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Lunar B.

Yelp
Underwhelming all the way around. I had a fish taco and an al pastor taco, and the ingredients in both were lackluster. The al pastor was salty but lacked the signature flavor that makes it al pastor. The tortillas, which are apparently made in-house daily, were cold and crumbly. I got a side of slaw and it was completely flavorless--just tasted like wet cabbage. The bartender was very fast and friendly, but unfortunately both of the margaritas I tried were totally meh.
google avatar

Hector B.

Yelp
This review is too balanced to my other reviews. They have great beer! That's important. Service is always great. Life and service is about the employee. Hiccups! The location is great and open. I do keep coming, which is key.
google avatar

G M.

Yelp
I gave it a five even though the chips and salsa were a little less tasty than the rest of the menu. Overall, the place was pretty darn good and the prices were perfect.
google avatar

Leah A.

Yelp
My husband and I are huge fans of La Reforma! Great food, good service and amazing drinks/beer! This is a place we recommend to all our friends and family. If anyone is visiting from out of town we ALWAYS come here. Get the CDMX quesadillas!
google avatar

Matt F.

Yelp
Delicious posole. This place is a hidden gem with friendly service. A little on the crowded side but I guess that is just because the food is good!
google avatar

J K.

Yelp
Pretty good food. Friendly, chatty (in a good way) service. The atmosphere is a little stark though.

Lisa S.

Yelp
It was a wonderful meal and all the crew were very nice!! Clean and comfortable restaurant. Enjoyed it very much!!
google avatar

Hunter K.

Yelp
Good easy food. A go to for a quick bite. Service can be good or kinda bad but overall always a good time. Quesadillas are a 9/10 sometimes they could use a kick of flavor that's not just really hot salsa.
google avatar

Jane T.

Yelp
The food here is delicious. I've had salads and tacos and both were delicious. I like to taste beer but can't finish a full glass. They did let me sample a few and they were all good. I'll be back. Large portions of food and fair prices.

GD B.

Yelp
Best brewery food in town. Decent beer. Great staff. Consistent and a good value. Look forward to returning...
google avatar

Isadora K.

Yelp
Best al pastor I've ever had. Service is attentive, parking is easy, prices reasonable, especially in light of high quality and generous portions. Posole is also excellent.
google avatar

Yves M.

Yelp
The food is amazing, ( I know it is very subjective) but this is different, the pozole is absolutely delicious, it my second visit and it was as good as the first time! The service perfect, we were asked repeatedly if the food was to our satisfaction and our drinks refilled and even a to go cup was provided to my best! The ambience is comfortable were the noise level is great for conversation!! I'll be back!
google avatar

Inez A.

Yelp
The parking lot has plenty of room to park is clean, and is level. Upon entering you wait to be seated. It is well lit, clean and organized. It was packed so a little hard to hear. We were seated with our fellow Yelpers! Always an honor and a privilege. There was an order of chips, salsa, queso and guacamole at our table. The chips were good, salsa had a smokey flavor, with a little spicy kick to it, yum. The queso was a good cheese flavor and texture with just enough spice. The guacamole was bland, needed some garlic, onion powder, and some salt. My husband drank an IPA bear, good smelled, nothing distinctive about it, was a good beer. I ordered iced tea, it was good, the waitress didn't bring me any sweetener until the refill. We ordered carne asada tacos, the corn tortillas just right, the marinated steak was tasty and the meat light. It came with a salsa and a tomateo salsa, both were very flavorful. I went in search of the bathrooms, they provide a men's, family and women's. All three are kept clean, and all handicap accessible. We had an enjoyable visiting our fellow Yelpers! Yelp on!

Molly B.

Yelp
I've been here frequently with my young family and for happy hour with friends. I have always left knowing that I will come back, as the food and service is always great. The owner is there consistently and is such a kind and professional man. I would try the carne asada fries!
google avatar

Joey C.

Yelp
We hit this spot up after a hot day in the sun watching my godson play soccer. The margarita I had was refreshing and delicious. My fiancé had a watermelon agua fresca cocktail and she really enjoyed it. As a matter of fact she ended up having a second one. I didn't get a chance to try the food but what I saw going out looked appetizing. It was a bit crowded the day we went and there was about a 15 minute wait but they have stools and sitting area for you to wait inside. Our server was absolutely excellent and very attentive checking on us regularly. We would definitely go back again and this time try their food.
google avatar

Dean L.

Yelp
The carnitas torta was rocking good, as were the accompanying fries. I'm not a fry guy, especially seasoned ones, but these were delicious--just a little spicy. I also had the agua fresca de día--mango something--and I could've kept drinking that all day. Wife and daughter raved about their meals too: pollo asada quesadilla y chicken tacos. Parking was easy, service was fine, and the dining room was cool on a blistering day. We're going back soon.
google avatar

Michele G.

Yelp
Back visiting home and tried this place out. Great cocktails and beer! Food was delicious! We ordered the Carnitas Quesadilla and Carne Asada Burrito. Meat and tortillas made in house and were amazing! Cocktails we ordered were the Palma and the Reposado Rita. All great!
google avatar

Mel T.

Yelp
Food awesome! Beer cold! Service and hostess all were great and attentive. Had appetizers and a meal, reasonable prices.
google avatar

Liberty W.

Yelp
Homemade Tortillas...yes please! The fried avocado was delicious and the slaw was really good as well. The service was prompt and friendly. It's not a fancy place at all but you can't beat the quail their food and service.
