"The town of Chantilly is pretty quiet. There are fewer tourists, and the main attraction is the Chateau, which isn’t nearly as blingy as Versailles (though, truly, nothing is). The train doesn’t take longer than a half hour, so if you leave Paris early enough, you can have lunch at La Régalade after touring the Chateau and its enormous gardens and forest. The food is classic French, so expect a seasonal menu that’s heavy on beef, seafood, and cheese, plus natural wines by the glass. Really good place. If you’ll are looking for a good super tasty food in this area- this one is the best. Also not expensive but you can forget about hunger. Nice staff: person gave me a cup of tea in cold weather

Loved the food, we ordered in english. Two staff guys were there and as i persume the owner. They did forget our second order but it was so funny how they did't understand us. It made our experience so much more fun!! Food (hamburger and fries) were so good!! Also we got Palestinian cola, so cool.
