"In this small town, the angular modern façade of La Renaissance – a contemporary, coffee-coloured extension to the large main building – doesn't go unnoticed. A native of the region, Arnaud Viel is at home here, as is his neighbour, philosopher Michel Onfray, who prefaces the restaurant's menus. Normandy takes pride of place, with fish and seafood ingredients at their freshest, from Carteret lobster to Veules-les-Roses oysters, monkfish from Port-en-Bessin, sand carrots from Créances and foie gras from the Pays d'Auge. This delicate, modern cuisine is skilfully accomplished and harmoniously balanced." - Michelin Inspector

Lovely authentic French bistro lunch. Fresh ingredients, served with aplomb by staff who really care about customer service. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

Absolutely amazing place, super welcoming staff, fast and caring service. Definitely not a tourist place they were so lovey! The place was full but made us a table in 1 minute.

Very good lunch menu and very friendly staff, speaking French and English. The food was quickly served and very fresh. Finally a bar that didn't serve the boring Leffe beer but French Fischer beer as well as locally brewed beer. Don't stick at the tourist trap on the main square but walk further towards Eglise Saint Gervais.

Lovely lunchtime visit to this brilliant restaurant. They made us feel welcome and our two vegetarian lunches were top notch. Excellent in every respect.

We have visited here several times and they never disappoint. The food, cheerful service and the staff. Love going there. Wish it was on the Isle of Wight 😀👍

Lovely food, friendly welcoming staff, very patient with our poorly spoken French. We had a lovely lunch, glasses of cider and coffees to finish. It made our visit to Felaise a real treat. Thank you. Paul & Sharon Crawford, Clacton on Sea, Essex, England. Also, loved the two Citroen 2 CV's! Fantastic restoration.....
