Why this restaurant doesn’t have a Michelin star is beyond me. It absolutely amazing in every aspect. The moment we walked in, we were greeted so kindly by the staff. They took our coats and welcomed us. We ordered the bone marrow and escargot to start with. Worth every bite! Not to mention our steak for two with mashed potatoes.. holly goodness. That was by far one of the best meals ever! Our server was always watching over us to make sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our food. Truly made my birthday extra special! 100% Recommend! Book that reservation.

By far the best meal experience I've had to date. From the door staff as you walk in to the incredible atmosphere in the restaurant. The food is legit out of this world full of flavour. Best steak I've eaten in my life. Well worth every $. Wine pairing was perfection. Make sure you make a reservation next level hard to get in but I'd go again in a heart beat. Thanks for making my Paris trip!

After much anticipation, our evening at La Renommee finally arrived. Having a late reservation we decided to pregame and arrived nearly an hour early to enjoy cocktails in the basement bar. We checked in, and ordered a few well made drinks. An hour+ later, i receive a phone call from the restaurant asking if im gonna show up! I explained I've been here for over an hour and head back up to the dining room to claim our table. Once seated we peruse a very nice and surprisingly affordable (compared to the exuberant food prices) and order a bottle of our favorite and hard to find champagne. The bottle arrives and the somm explains due to a lack of cellar space, it isn't cold at all. I am now wondering if this place is all its cracked up to be? Lots of ice and patience and the champagne finally did chill, but we delayed ordering, so we could have time to enjoy the bottle. Once we ordered, I will say it was all good from there as the food was outstanding. We had three courses, plus a comp dessert for the early miscues. Overall, I was impressed despite the overly curated Disneyesque Instagram caricature of a French restaurant this was, but have to say the food quality, wine selections and recovered service, in what was a picturesque influencer themed evening that turned out to be an expensive, yet enjoyable evening, ending late at nearly 1 AM.

It was our first time visiting La Renommée. We didn’t have a reservation, but luckily we were able to get a table in the downstairs lounge. The atmosphere was fantastic, with vintage-inspired interiors that set a great vibe. Although the menu was a bit limited at the lounge area, we were happy to find the steak and rabbit pasta available. The steak, in particular, was outstanding, classic yet elevated. The whiskey-based cocktails were also excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed every bite.

Great service and ambience. Some dishes were really great, others were alright. They did ask for tip at the end of the meal which we felt was odd and left a bad taste For starters: Escargot - 4/5, great size but could use more flavor Foie gras- 5/5, the best we had in our trip! Would go back for this Mains: Steak Au poivre - 4.5/5, solid steak that was tender and flavorful Rabbit pasta - 3/5, a little heavy and tasted more similar to a carbonara. There was a stronger bacon/pork flavor that overpowered the rabbit Dessert Chocolate mousse - 4.5/5, I really loved this but my partner felt it had a little too much salt. Pistachio merengue thing - 4/5, the strawberry paired well with the pistachio ice cream and merengue

I can’t forget how dreamy this meal was! Loved the setting in this restaurant, so classic and romantic. We ordered the bone marrow, escargots & also the peppercorn cognac steak. Loved the steam and the cognac sauce. I would advise to order either the escargot or the bone marrow, as both are very rich and buttery, it got too much and we could not finish the bone marrow. Very lovely meal and one of my favourite experiences during my trip.

This is hands down one of the BEST restaurants we have been to. I got the Au poivre steak and it was one of the most delicious meals I have had. Husband ordered the bone marrow as an app and it was huge and so delicious. We also ordered the salad with truffle vinaigrette which was also amazing. Everything we got at this restaurant was excellent. The service was also impeccable from the moment we walked in to when we left. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Best meal we had in Paris. The restaurant has a dark, sexy, old-school vibe that feels timeless and intimate, while the food is refined, high-class French dining at its best. The rabbit pasta was unforgettable—rich and perfectly balanced. The escargots were buttery, tender, and beautifully presented. And the chocolate mousse was over-the-top good, the kind of dessert you think about long after. Service was flawless—attentive, professional, and warm. The bar downstairs is also worth a stop: moody, elegant, and a perfect way to start or end the night.
