La Reyna Azteca

Well my favorite taco truck was closed so we decided to take a chance on La Reyna and it was ok. The food could have had more flavor and spice and a taste of Mexico. The menu was full of options and choices. This was my second time there but I don’t think I’ll visit again. The experience was less friendly however, the colors of the restaurant were bright and vibrant. I ordered chicken tacos and some fries. A little pricy on the fries 🍟

Figured I would try it out I pass by it every day, glad I did. I had the smothered burrito with carne asada the meat has a crispy texture, the beans are creamy and delicious, the rice nice and fluffy. The green Chile made it all come together with the tortilla very generous portion and worth it.

I absolutely love this place. The tacos are so flavorful. The rice & beans are always perfect. And the frescas are delicious! I was allowed to sample all four flavors and every single one was delicious. I ended up going with the cucumber & lime and I was not disappointed. This is definitely my go-to taco spot now.

LOVED IT!! Ignore the bad reviews. This used to be the Breakfast King. What was amazing when I first came in was they maintained the old school Denver vibe and kept the booths and the old 70's diner decor! My heart was so happy! (They were playing disco music, too.) I'd been coming here for years and years and it felt like home. The staff was super friendly. It was clean. Fantastic service. I had the quesabirra tacos and it tasted excellent followed by a giant piece of carrot cake. Give it a chance. You can also get burritos and other food to go. I'm coming back for sure.

This place is always delicious! I got the Chorizo breakfast burrito and Horchata. I feel bad for them, though, because their is a drive through Starbucks right next door, and it appears that people are always too lazy to get out of their cars to order a drink. I guess I don't really know why they would be using a Starbucks drive-through, but it makes it very dangerous for the locals who just want some good authentic fare. I will always walk in and order. I like to get my steps in. 😀 I had to add this photo. I love, love their chorizo breakfast burrito. It's so big it is good enough for two meals. I don't mind eating the last of it cold. I just drown it in the sauces, which are also amazing. This is all I had left. ❤️

I visited this restaurant once before and had to make sure I went back. The food is delicious and the service was great. I would gladly go back. Their Quesabirria is incredible.

This place is awesome! My first time here I misread the menu and ordered the Birria Plate instead of the Quesabirria Tacos, but it was still absolutely delicious! Today, I got the Quesabirria Tacos, and they were even better than I imagined! My eyes were bigger than my stomach, and I ordered too many tacos for my dinner, but I'm not mad because now I have a super dank snack for later! 😉 The lady who takes the orders is very nice, and so are the guys in the back. I made sure to tell them how tasty the food was and thanked them profusely for providing such a delicious meal. Don't sleep on this place, it's straight fire. 🔥🔥🔥

Loved this place. It was my first time visiting. My boyfriend is Mexican and raving about this place. I'm from Europe and my taste is way different but the awesome server accommodated my weird request with no issue. The best part is they speak English and Spanish. You'd expect every establishment to speak Spanish in 2024 but sadly many don't. 10 stars all the way. Best burritos too;)
