Mission Bakeries La Victoria and Dominguez Reopen in New Forms in SF | Eater SF

"Family‑owned La Reyna, opened in 1977 by Louie Gutierrez’s parents, still draws a trickle of customers who graze the to‑go shelves of pan dulce—technicolor conchas, puerquitos shaped like pigs, and abrazos (small danishes hugging a dollop of jam)—each often selling for less than a dollar; once a place with pinball machines, a jukebox and tables where kids and elders lingered, it now serves sweets to‑go but remains a community touchstone in part because the family owns the building and the sociable proprietor still chats with regulars." - Caleb Pershan

I ordered the nachos asada , and they were delicious. They were way more then enough for just me. So I shared them with some friends. Fresh ingredients and didn't take to long for them to make either. Definitely worth trying!

this restaurant makes fresh corn tortillas and fresh Pork carnitas. Nachos are fantastic, they also have meals to feed 4-8 people ( choice of meat - rice- beans- tortillas).

Outstanding and delicious burritos! Highly recommend! The homemade tortillas are amazing. No frills food to power you through the day. Sweet people

The food is good. They serve fresh tortillas and they have my favorite melon drink. However, It doesn’t look clean in the seating area and the cashiers are not real friendly so it’s a 3 star.

Food was okay. As others have stated service was not good. Cashier rolled her eyes when I asked a simple question. Will not be coming here again.

Seems like everyone that works there hates there job. All the women (only women work here) that work here are in a bad mood. The salsa spoons were mixed up and I let them know and they seemed upset that I told them. We ordered a couple pounds of meat and were given a small zip lock bag all that we fit was a couple of radishes. I asked for one or two more so we could get cilantro, onions, and jalapeños. They were upset about that too and wanted to charge for them.

Good food. I got the asada wet burrito with the red sauce. Definitely has heat. Great amount of cheese and sauce in my to go plate. Lots of meat. Great tortillas as well. I was a little sad I couldn’t get carnitas as that’s what I usually prefer for meat. Maybe because I came about 1045 it was too early? Asada wasn’t bad, but I tend to find it a little bland. I’d eat here again.

I get my tortillas here every 2 weeks. The service is great and the food is delicious. Definitely handicap friendly and plenty of parking in the back. There is no seating inside right now due to covid, But there is plenty of parking outside.
