A quietly old-school place that still delivers excellent fish
Yes, Risacca Blu feels a bit stuck in the 1990s with its table settings, the way plates are cleared after orders, and the overall atmosphere. But the food is impeccable, straightforward, and good. We started with raw gamberoni and scampi – flawless, fresh, and of excellent quality. For the main course, we had the branzino in a salt crust. Again, the product quality was very high, cooked perfectly in a classic style, moist, and expertly filleted at the table. The crème brûlée for dessert was unfortunately poorly executed, with a custard-like consistency rather than the classic creamy texture.
In summary, anyone looking for top-quality fish prepared in a classic, simple manner will leave happy, as long as they can overlook minor service quirks and the dessert shortcomings. I will definitely return.
