***Update 4/2/2025***
We returned here for dinner now that La Rosa is in full operation with an updated website and menus and were impressed. Staff were outgoing and service was attentive all evening, the menu offers plenty of variety from appetizers to steaks and fish to Italian and burgers, tacos, soups, salads and desserts, but the menu isn't so large that it prevents them from preparing everything they offer well. Prices are reasonable for both food and drinks (steaks are a little spendy, but the menu says they're prime cuts). One additional note to my original review below is that the outdoor seating area on the sidewalk in front is intimate with umbrellas and festoon lighting, and it's secluded from the roadway in front by one of Coral Gables' large fountains.

La Rosa bar/restaurant has a Miracle Mile address, but it's actually in a space that faces LeJune. This place is still very much in its "soft opening" period, several sections of their website are still under construction or need updating, and the menus we were given were only temporary. I plan to stop back once they formally open and will update my review at that time.
We came here for a nightcap after having dinner elsewhere, just to check this place out. La Rosa looks inviting with lots of outdoor seating under dimly lit overhead festoon lights, and an interior dining space which isn't terribly large but is nicely decorated and features a large L-shaped bar off to the side and a giant flat screen on the front of the loft area upstairs. I had a mojito and my husband ordered an espresso martini. My drink was $14, his was $17 and both were well-made. My mojito contained a few sprigs of fresh mint, his martini was garnished with a few whole coffee beans, etc. In other words, even though they're still in their soft opening phase, what they are offering is quite good. Looking forward to returning and trying the food for sure, and seeing what their full menu will be like.
