5 stars ! La Rosa perfects the rare combination of chic ambiance with masterfully crafted Latin foods in a variety of styles and portions. Wendy provided exceptional service and hospitality. The picanha on fire was a great show and perfect. Bonus that it was served with clarified butter. It is clear why this restaurant has a perfect 5 star review. Also, they will open a private event space in the upstairs area for private parties, meetings and will also have a projector for presentations, perfect for business retreats (only with better food!).

Google
La Rosa was a surprise a hidden gem from Coral Way and Lejeune on the southside. Worth looking for.. keep your eyes peeled They have a great menu for brunch. It was all gluten-free, vegetarian …. overall, I really liked all the options. Definitely have to come back for their lunch and dinner menu. Our server His name was Javier. He was excellent, kind, courteous, a good listener, and I always appreciate the server being on his toes. The huevos rancheros and everything that we ordered even the American coffee was really good. Had a great experience

This is a delightful restaurant in Coral Gables, featuring a pleasant atmosphere and exceptional food. When you order the steak, they put on an impressive show, including a live-fire cooking display (see video). I would definitely return and will consider this restaurant for my shortlist of great dining options.

Google
La Rosa Gastrobar exceeded expectations. From the moment we walked in, the energy was warm and inviting. Carlos, our waiter, was exceptional—attentive, personable, and made great recommendations without being overbearing. Wendy was also great behind the bar—her cocktails were perfectly balanced and served with a smile. The food was creative and flavorful, and the pacing of the meal was just right. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the guest experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality night out in the Gables.

Google
Can’t say enough about this place 10/10. Great portions, great service. Great tasting. Food was fantastic you must try the croquettas they were on another level. I would recommend Antonio as a sever every time. He’s the best! Very friendly and quick. You will feel very comfortable in this place.

This place is absolutely wonderful; the service magical! Wendy, the GM, took care of us from arriving as well as the staff. Very welcoming, warm, and attentive. For a non miami experience, COME here! It is truly an old school feel in every way. Also, food is GREAT!!!! Live music is soooo romantic!!!!!! Cannot wait to return!!

Amazing restaurant with attentive service & beautiful decor!! We’ve enjoyed two meals here in our visits to Coral Gables! The food is always delicious…from appetizers to entrees!

We went on a Saturday early evening. The ambiance is very welcoming and the servers were all attentive and cordial. We had the carpaccio appetizer which was a generous platter with arugula & shaved Parmesan cheese. The meat was perfectly lean and thinly sliced. For entrees we had an angus burger and the seafood pasta. The burger was delicious and the fries were crispy. We also ordered a side of sweet potato fries (which I thought were better). The pasta was rich and cheesy with a generous assortment of squid, shrimp, clams and mussels. It was very tasty and filling and I took half to go. For desert we had the coconut flan which was outstanding (a flan has to really stand-out in Miami!). We ordered wines by the glass and while the assortment is not extensive, it contains quality wines with very reasonable prices. La Rosa Gastrobar is a welcome addition to the Coral Gables food scene. The prices are lower than the competition. New restaurants typically start with lower prices to build clientele. I’ll be returning to try their other dishes, and take advantage of the bargains.

Yelp
had never heard of La Rosa before, but while searching for a cute spot for a Sunday girls brunch, I came across it and was immediately drawn in by how beautiful and stylish the place looked and how good the brunch dishes looked so we decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! The interior is absolutely gorgeous. It gave off the perfect vibe for a relaxed but elevated brunch. The drinks were great and the food was even better. I ordered the steak frites, which were cooked to perfection, flavorful, tender, and satisfying. One of my friends got the Mexican bowl, and the other had the octopus tacos. We were all satosifies with our dishes and agreed everything was delicious across the board. The only small downside was that one of our friends is gluten-intolerant. She was happy to see that gluten free pasta was listed on the menu, but unfortunately, it wasn't available when we ordered. It was a bit disappointing, but not a dealbreaker. Despite that, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even helping us out with strollers and being super patient with the babies who needed a high chair . Overall, La Rosa is a hidden gem in the Miracle Mile area. Beautiful space, great food, and a perfect spot for brunch with the girls. I'd definitely go back and next time, I hope they have that gluten-free pasta ready to go!

Yelp
The place is cute, the food wasn't bad. The lady that was singing when we went didn't seem too sure if she was signing but she tried to keep things lively. The waiter didn't know the menu though and that's a bit of a problem. We asked about the chilaquiles and he had to get the hostess to explain. Maybe they were having an off day so we will give them another try.

Yelp
This place is really cute inside. I went on a Saturday for brunch, and it was not very busy, but we were a party of 8. There were maybe 3 other tables at the time. The service was a bit slow, but it seemed everyone arrived shortly after opening, so it was understandable they suddenly got busy. We all got our meals pretty spread out, so some food got cold while we waited for other meals to arrive. The kitchen may have been suddenly overwhelmed with orders. The food was ok. Nothing was overly delicious in my opinion. Everyone was content, but nothing was a "wow". One big disappointment was the "chocolate mousse", which was like a small single serving of chocolate pudding. For the price... I would pass on this. I would give them another chance down the line. Maybe for dinner service though. It's really cute inside and the rush seemed to throw off the game. The menu had some good options that I'd consider revisiting with a smaller group.

Yelp
***Update 4/2/2025*** We returned here for dinner now that La Rosa is in full operation with an updated website and menus and were impressed. Staff were outgoing and service was attentive all evening, the menu offers plenty of variety from appetizers to steaks and fish to Italian and burgers, tacos, soups, salads and desserts, but the menu isn't so large that it prevents them from preparing everything they offer well. Prices are reasonable for both food and drinks (steaks are a little spendy, but the menu says they're prime cuts). One additional note to my original review below is that the outdoor seating area on the sidewalk in front is intimate with umbrellas and festoon lighting, and it's secluded from the roadway in front by one of Coral Gables' large fountains. ***Original Review 3/7/2025*** La Rosa bar/restaurant has a Miracle Mile address, but it's actually in a space that faces LeJune. This place is still very much in its "soft opening" period, several sections of their website are still under construction or need updating, and the menus we were given were only temporary. I plan to stop back once they formally open and will update my review at that time. We came here for a nightcap after having dinner elsewhere, just to check this place out. La Rosa looks inviting with lots of outdoor seating under dimly lit overhead festoon lights, and an interior dining space which isn't terribly large but is nicely decorated and features a large L-shaped bar off to the side and a giant flat screen on the front of the loft area upstairs. I had a mojito and my husband ordered an espresso martini. My drink was $14, his was $17 and both were well-made. My mojito contained a few sprigs of fresh mint, his martini was garnished with a few whole coffee beans, etc. In other words, even though they're still in their soft opening phase, what they are offering is quite good. Looking forward to returning and trying the food for sure, and seeing what their full menu will be like.

Yelp
Working at coral cables gives me a good view of upcoming restaurants. And this restaurant does not disappoint. With a great menu and a beautiful bar fully stocked. The most amazing thing is when you walk in and you see the Flowers on the walls and the way it's decorated flowers versus pictures of famous people, it's a great contrast. The staff is friendly and the bartenders are great. I recently went for a chamber event and had a great time. Thank you to Nicole for having us over and having a successful event. Can't wait to come for dinner and can't wait to experience the beautiful location in the heart of miracle mile.

Yelp
I live a few blocks from Miracle Mile so was super excited when this spot opened. Came to have lunch with my boyfriend recently but unfortunately, aside from the excellent service from our waiter Pedro & the decent cocktails, I was super disappointed. The restaurant itself is very nice, Hollywood-Regency on steroids & they have plenty of tables outside as well. The issues began as soon as I read the menu... croquettas, hummus, pastas, tacos?!? All on one menu? I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so just chalked it up to a "Miami" driven menu (de todo un poco). Pretty brave for a new restaurant. If they are going to be that varied, they better make sure everything is perfection. SPOILER ALERT... that was not the case: -Branzino Ceviche: ok, but the mariquitas tasted if stale oil & the tropical ceviche itself was inexplicably seasoned with oregano. Weird. At least the fish, peppers & mango tasted fresh. - Lemon Pasta: Looked & tasted like a frozen dinner. Sauce was not bad but heavy on the cream & light on flavour. The chicken had what looked like fake grill marks & tasted like it too. - Cauliflower Tacos: The cauliflower was barely cooked & definitely NOT roasted. The spice was ok but not deep & developed, more superficial to cover up the fact that they weren't well cooked. Sadly, until this place gets over its's identity crisis, I probably won't be back. 3-Stars, almost entirely for Pedro.

Yelp
La Rosa Gastrobar feels like one of those places you stumble into and immediately want to come back to. The food is fresh and creative without trying too hard, and every plate looks as good as it tastes. The atmosphere has that rare balance lively but still comfortable enough to actually hear the person across the table. The service was amazing as well.

Yelp
The ambiance and the attentive service are stars here at La Rosa, with the excellent croquetas de manchego (my wife is a harsh critic of croquetas and loves these) and the flambé'd picanha a flashy entree that follows thru with excellent flavor. Her salmon was just OK, however, my wife and I also had the Guacamole La Rosa which is great guacamole topped with grilled cheese cut into cubes that adds some extra flair. The churros and and guava flan made for sweet ending to an enjoyable, casual evening on the Miracle Mile. Shout out to Ashley and Carlos on staff who went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and well taken care of, such warm people both of them.

Yelp
Amazing ambiance and music was a vibe. Their happy hour is great, $10 across the board for various drink and food options. Delicious drinks, loved the Aperol and carajillo

Yelp
I came to get food here after my nail appointment and I was so satisfied! I love bbq and theres no bbq on the mile so the pulled pork sandwich was spot on. I also tried a lemon pasta and I would definitely get it again!

Yelp
From the moment you walk in this place has a great vibe. Spacious and cozy at the same time, the staff is instantly welcoming. We came for brunch and the food was plentiful, delicious and amazingly presented. My salmon eggs Benedict was absolutely perfect and their spin on tortilla española was unexpectedly delightful. Will absolutely come back sooner than later.

Yelp
The restaurant is brand new. So don't get scared that there are not a lot of people. My husband ordered the filet mignon on fire and it was very good. The Burrata salad is also quite good and big enough for three. The wine selection is not extensive but good enough for all tastes. The service was very good and the food came out quickly. Will return for sure.

Yelp
The Food and service is always great !! We were there on a Friday for Happy Hour and the drinks and appetizer special was great . There was a live DJ on their patio out front and by the time we left it was packed with a nice range of age groups enjoying dinner and the music . Highly recommend!!

Alexa M.

Yelp
Went here for happy hour- drinks were good, we ordered the tortilla española and charcuterie board and both were not good at all. The tortilla española was very dry and had meat and cheese which is not a tortilla española. The charcuterie board had deli ham and American cheese which was not good at all. This place has a lot of work if they want to stay competitive on miracle mile. As of right now I would not go back.

Yelp
La Rosa, a necomer, is a great place in the Gables to enjoy great food, relaxed ambiance and drinks. Service is very attentive and friendly. We tasted different entrees, and each one as prepared to perfection. For desert I highly recommend the guava flan!!!!
