La Salle - restaurant & brocante

Great place, great food and friendly service!

After having a very unpleasant experience next door at le jardin being refused a table even though the place was empty and we had a bus to catch so we would have been quite fast (I think they just don’t like children and/or foreigners), we were super pleasantly surprised by the welcome we received at La Salle. Very friendly and patient with our overtired toddler, very accommodating. They had toys, markers and drawing paper without even asking, and I saw a changing table in the back. The food was delicious and the setting quite charming! My only regret was that we couldn’t stay for coffee and dessert. Our daughter was getting unpleasant and we ran out of time anyway. Hopefully we can come back another time! Thanks again for your patience and understanding.

It’s a lovely place with delicious food and great cocktails. The stuff is incredibly friendly and made our visit so nice and special. They also speak very good English! The place has amazing atmosphere and the prices are very good for French standard. Would definitely recommend 😊

Friendly and welcoming staff, but lack in professionalism. (Serving mussels without a spare plate/bowl for shells and no tablespoon) Food was correct but arrived unevenly warmed up, the wine list is far too expensive for the dishes served. The food is good value for money. Disappointed with the choice of wine which had the price of a gastronomic restaurant and nothing cheaper was available. Have been to La Salle five or six times but will wait for them to go back to the standard and prices they had when they first started. Even though everything is going up, some different choices would ensure the restaurant remains successful.

Excellent decorated restaurant. The staff and service were also excellent and very kind.The selection of wines is satisfactory. However the food was bad. The pasta was bad, poorly spiced and simply below average. The ribs were ok while the side dish was a fairly simple dish (mashed potatoes with truffle crumbs)

A good location and attractive restaurant. My plate of the day was very good. Crispy slices of vegetables with a good dressing (perhaps with verjus). My family had the Gambos which were good but they felt the rest of the dish was a little plain. Nice black rice. Helpful and happy staff

Just wow! We had the spare ribs and I must say I’ve never seen such a big peace in my life. It was really delicious! And the setting is just breathtaking, there is so much to see! Last but not least, the staff was extremely friendly. It’s worth more than 5 stars!
