This is my favorite spot to stop by for my Lunch hour! The service is fast and super friendly. The happy hour special is unbeatable for top quality Mexican cuisine. Imagine, you can eat a plate of tacos and have 2 beers for under $20 in Denver! Deals are not what makes this place special however, it is the atmosphere. The interior is beautiful, warm, and very clean. I usually sit at the bar, but there is plenty of seating throughout the restaurant to accommodate groups. I suggest that if you come to Northfield to shop, stop at La Sandia for a drink and bite. Lupita makes the best margarita in town!

Very delicious. I was here and I'm from out of town so eating out at places I've never been is hard for me. I chose chicken tacos and my cup worker had veggie tacos. We also got a molcajete cheese dip to share. Delicious!

Wonderful place to eat. Great food but not many veggie options. There was seafood but they were out of fish when we got there, so we were very limited. The food was great and so was the service. Some reason it was really cold in the restaurant and we asked to move, we were still really cold and I noticed many tables still had their winter jackets on. Good location and nice ambiance

The lava Taco Bowl was legit! Queso was a bit heavy but delicious. Staff was well trained and on top of it. Quick service and unique drinks. I had a watermelon margarita and it was delicious.

I'll be going back to see if I just caught them on a bad day but the drinks were meh not enough alcohol and the other drink I had was the paloma and it was straight up water with no flavor The nachos were good and the tacos were okay as well. We asked for corn and they brought us the wrong one then they brought us the wrong order after that as well I think the best time to come is for happy hour I had high expectations but all I can say is 'if was okay"

Great happy hour deals on food and drinks! The spicy orange margarita and the cucumber watermelon margarita were fantastic. Joseph gave great service! We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Really good food. Limited menu but I appreciate a small menu done very well over a large, mediocre menu. A favorite at the table were the fried sweet plantains. Never seen these served at a Mexican restaurant and they were so delicious (coming from a Caribbean household where we eat these regularly)! Our sever was also great…I accidentally left my phone and he ran to our car to get it back to me. I loved the carne asada and my husband got the mole, which was also delicious. Others at the table ordered the chimichanga and the fajitas. Plus two kids meals which were great. 5 stars on the food and dessert (churros and tres leches). I will say there was one glaring issue: they have an early close time of 9pm and when it was close to 9, the lights over our dining area literally went out and we couldn’t see our food. The man eating at the table near ours literally took his phone out to be able to see his food. If there are paying customers (we ordered several entrees plus dessert), let them finish their meal. This felt tasteless and rude…no staff seemed to know what was going on and everyone had a different excuse; it was pretty bizarre and felt like they were just trying to kick people out. If the lights are on an automatic timer, it needs to be fixed. Overall recommend aside from that. We will be back…maybe during the day to avoid that!!!

The staff here, Francisco was amazing. He was patient and attentive as it was our first time here and we were with a great couple we had just recently met. It was nice not to be rushed. The food was good. Guacamole was perfect. The nachos with steak also very good. I loved the crema on them. Just the right amount. We will be back. Downside is if you are on the restaurant side you can't get happy hour buy if you are on the bar side you can. Separated by a wall. 😐😐😐
