La Scala Bangkok

La Scala is such a gem in the relaxed oasis of the Sukhothai hotel. The fresh ingredients and harmonious flavours really shine through. My wife and I love the refreshing Mediterranean/Italian semi-buffet lunch which features a beautiful buffet spread of antipasti, desserts (wonderful tiramisu!) etc - both a feast for the eyes and the stomach. Coupled with that, we get to choose a main each from a list of weekly rotating selections. Thank you too to the personable service staff, including Mam, Top, Dae, Ing-Fah, and Aon, for always making us feel comfortable. We always look forward to our meals here and they are certainly deserving of a visit (or multiple visits as we have done)!

The best Italian buffet in Bangkok!! This is our second time. Today we came on Mother’s Day with a special occasion menu. Food was superb with excellent service. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back.

An unforgettable Mother's Day lunch at La Scala! From the moment we arrived, the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. The food was not only incredibly delicious but also a feast for the eyes, with every dish beautifully and thoughtfully presented. We were particularly impressed with the main courses. The rack of lamb was cooked to absolute perfection, tender and full of flavor. The cod was also a standout, perfectly flaky with a crispy skin, showcasing the chef's skill. The buffet spread was a delight, with a fantastic selection of cold cuts, seafood like fresh oysters and prawns, and a decadent dessert bar with everything from crème brûlée to a stunning tiramisu. What truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service. A huge thank you to the incredible staff members who took such great care of us: Mam, Top, Ingtha, Dae, Aon, Nadia, and Ryu. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality made our Mother's Day celebration so much more special. We left with happy hearts and full stomachs. food is of fine quality, especially the tomato soup is the best service is wonderful and very warm, the whole team make us feel very welcomed especially khun Dae, thank you for your services which is exceeding our expectation！ will come back again when next time visit Bangkok

The taste and quality of the food was very good. Chefs Champ, Ronda, Ford created very good Italian style food. We received good and attentive service from the team manager K.Mam and Aon, Ryu, Dae, Sri, Top. It was a good experience from LaScala Bangkok restaurant And I will definitely come back.

We had an extraordinary dining experience at La Scala, and it was all thanks to Chef Rossi Andrea, a truly talented Italian chef who recently joined the team – just one month ago, in fact. His dishes were nothing short of sensational, and his charismatic personality and great sense of humor added even more charm to the experience. We were completely taken by him, and we’re already planning our return visit. If you go for lunch, don’t miss the Italian semi-buffet – every single item we tried was delicious. Not a single miss. The flavors, textures, and presentation were all spot on. This is, without doubt, one of the best Italian restaurants in Bangkok. Since Chef Andrea is a new arrival, we recommend focusing on recent reviews – older ones may not reflect the current (and exceptional!) standard of the restaurant.

I celebrated my birthday here and had a fabulous time. The food was exceptional and the staff lovely, they even helped my friends put up decorations. A special thank you to Mam [manager], Top, Aon, Dae, Yu and Nadia. We will be back 😀

22 Aug 2025: New Italian menu by the new chef. I gotta say delicious indeed. Worth visiting. 2024: Love this current cuisine of this place. Chef Jean-Jacques does give a lift to this place pretty nicely. Might not be so Italian but delicious Mediterranean touches.
