Brussels Beer Guide: Top Breweries, Brilliant Restaurants and Gorgeous Hotels

"La Source Beer Co. stands out with its experimental IPAs and even “dessert” beers. Here, some beers are poured straight from the tanks, offering an ultra-fresh tasting experience. Stay for the bar food and frequent live music." - The MICHELIN Guide

Beer poured straight from the tanks. Doesn’t get fresher! Sorry for the pun, but yeah, this is the source. Love the quarter pints. And nice kids area for drawing and ‘babyfoot’ plus outside for trottinette. Been here so many times, love that it opens early afternoon. And always rotating new beers. By far my favourite Brussels brewery.

La source had lots of great beer options, friendly staff, comfortable seating and a fun casual environment. The day we visited there was a community roller rink set up in the warehouse right out side. Would recommend!

Nice place, fantastic beer and interesting small concert venue. All in all very much worth spending few hours with good music

Probably the best brewery in town. They have a wide selection of beers. Their IPA's and stouts are a blast. If you can, also try their salami. The staff is super friendly as well.

Nested in a boutique warehouse, surrounded by an organic market and other purposeful boutique vendors and services, La Source is your best kept secret. Fresh beer served in a small bar built with care and passion. There’s a “welcome” feeling when you enter the bar between a row of barrels. Nice people, great beers, good music,….don’t tell anyone

Very nice beers but the craft beer experience is a 'Meh'. Some of the employees/bartenders working there seem to be unmotivated and have no clue of the beers they make, I don't know if the bartenders are part time students lol. A friendly customer there explained the beers to me. What a shame 👎

The concept of this place is cool, a building who was probably an old warehouse converted into a place where locals can meet, eat, drink and shop. It's quite a ways away from the tourist center, but doable by public transportation. When we showed up on a Wednesday afternoon it was dead, all the other shops were closed and the communal area was deserted. But at least the brewpub was open. The decor is nice, with cool murals and sofas made out of wooden pallets. I like the fact that some of the beers are served straight from the tank. My IPA was fine, the others, a raspberry/rhubarb sour beer was too sweet, like those slushy fruit beers, and the sour pils was okay at best. We tried one or two of this place's beers at bars around town and we prefered those. For a relatively new brewery they have tons of potential, and next time I'll try to coordinate my visit when it's more lively.
