A bit cramped for large parties, pretty good place for smaller groups under 8. Delicious food and a lot of vegetarian options too ... Extremely surprised with the many veggie options they had. Flatbread veggie pizza and Alfredo veggie pasta are the favorites along with soups.

Google
The best restaurant in all of DFW. I moved out of town recently but anytime I visit the area, I must stop here for lunch. I've been coming to La Spiga for the last 5 years and everytime the food is consistently amazing, with friendly and helpful staff. My favorite dishes are either the Lemon Chicken Picatta or Chicken Terragon sandwich on Sourdough. But I've tried almost everything and it's all so good.

Ruwanmalee Dissanayake

Google
Good bakery with a variety of baked goods, pastas and sandwiches. Chicken, beef and tuna sandwiches were nice. The spicy penne pasta with chicken tasted authentic. The cheese Danish tasted great. Service was good and fast.

Google
Amazing tiny cafe with delicious sandwiches. They have other Italian foods as well but I highly recommend their sandwiches. Their bread is made fresh and all of the varieties are quite flavorful. They also sell bread that you can take home.

I have been coming here for the better part of 12 years now. My dad used to work at an office complex near the airport and he would bring back a sandwich/muffin/pastry every now and then. Eventually I started going out to Addison myself just to eat there in person. This place has stood the test of time, and the Italian Sub will forever be #1 on my ranking of sandwiches on this planet. Elite atmosphere and flawless service are only the cherries on top to one of my favorite restaurants of all time.

Google
Surprisingly high quality food, excellent service and wonderful presentation. A hidden gem of north dallas well worth the effort to visit. Fernanda was an exceptional host and really made us miss the service once more common pre-covid. The serving size was generous and the prices great. Lunch hour tends to be busy so plan accordingly. Irony is that the majority of its business is wholesale selling baked items to well establish local restaurants. Highly recommend to everyone to give this a place a try - which I rarely do.

Google
This is one of the top bakeries in DFW and my favorite spot for lunch. Everything on the menu is outstanding and reasonably priced.

Google
HIDDEN GEM!! If I could give this place a 6, I would. Amazing value! Very delicious and filling. If you like La Madeleine’s you’ll love this place even more. I got a Croque Monsieur but swapped the ham for chicken. The sandwich was to die for. The chips are home made fresh. They also do to-go!

Yelp
Had a chicken tarragon sandwich on baguette today and it was very good. Also too home a loaf of rustic Italian (the Milano) and it's also very good. If you live in Addison you should be buying your bread here instead of the grocery store. Or at least for special occasions / having guests. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
I stumbled upon La Spiga Bakery on my day off & was pleasantly surprised. I eat on belt line all the time but didn't know this places exists but so glad I found it! The service at the counter was very good. Since I had never been in before I ask for recommendations & I really enjoyed my sandwich & salad. They were very kind & helpful. The food came out pretty quickly & was delicious! I enjoyed every bite! Then I went back for a cookie before I left. My only feedback would be that it seemed like tables of 2 or more got a plate of small pieces of bread but tables of one didn't. I didn't need as much bread as the other tables but it would've been nice to get a small plate as well. Since it was my first time in I would've loved sampling more that they had to offer. I will be back & I'll bring people with me because I want my friends and family to try this place out!

Yelp
I had to come back for lunch.... I LOVE LA SPIGA!!! Brought my picky little sister and she has approved! I got the chicken salad sandwhich and it was so light but filling! We were eating and had kitchen staff come by to see how we enjoyed our food. I will swear by this place up and down!!! The best staff and the best food.

Yelp
La Spiga is one of those places you take people when they want to experience the hidden parts of DFW. Great food, huge portions. Friendly service. And, it's just a nice local hole-in-the-wall place. We also stop there to pick up a loaf of sourdough every so often. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Top notch. An experience. A staple in the area and the bakers of so many other restaurants. Kudos.

Yelp
Amazing hidden gem! My husband took a different route home from work & we decided to check it out... SO GLAD WE DID! Service was great, cute cafe, great food & portions were huge! He ordered: Chicken Salad Sandwich on Sourdough & Cream of Mushroom Soup I ordered: Caesar Salad & Cr. of Mushroom Soup Caesar was amazing & a tad heavy on the Dijon *just perfectly balanced the way I like it! I'm glad I ordered extra dressing to dip my croutons & bread slices on the table in. The soup: yummo, with shiitake & an array of mushrooms, not overdone with too much cream; perfectly balanced. My husband got coffee & he said it was really good... I'll try an espresso next time! We got olive bread to take home, and he got a brownie & a lemon bar... I don't like sweets, but tasted the lemon bar & you could tell it was made with real ingredients... no yellow food coloring; awesome!

Yelp
Excellent food, great service. I only learned of this restaurant when I started working in Addison. It's a terrific spot- the food is always good and it's a tremendous value. They make great coffee and have a bakery and if you're in the area, you can't go wrong stopping in here for lunch.
google avatar

Barbara W.

Yelp
I have been intermittently visiting La Spiga for 25 plus years. You can't beat the bread and the sweets. It's a great lunch spot; the chicken tarragon is a must. The soups are really satisfying. A bowl of soup and some bread with a coffee or a Pellagrino is the perfect lunch.

Yelp
This spot is so unassuming and near a few repair shops. I came here with a few coworkers and as soon as we entered, we were all greeted by an employee behind the register. There were a few "daily" specials on a board near the register and a menu on the wall that broke down the different combos and menu items. I also noticed a menu to the right of the entrance where you could get coffee and an area where you can get cakes/pastries. I asked them at the front what they recommended and they asked what items I was leaning towards. I indicated that I'd like a sandwich. She asked if I'd like to do a combo rather than just a sandwich so I decided on getting Tomato Basil Soup and a Chicken Tarragon Sandwich. The quantity of food our group received for the price we paid was so good. Some members of our group had nearly 2 meals from what we were given. They also provided a small plate of different types of bread for our group like sourdough, ciabatta, and jalapeño cornbread. Anyways, the sandwich was quite large and the soup was warm and tasty. I definitely want to go back to try their pastries and coffee, and maybe even a slice of cake. I recommend you stop by and give them a try!

Yelp
Found this place on the internet when searching for best sandwiches near me. I ended up getting the beef stroganoff which was one of the specials of the day and it was absolutely delicious. I will be back.

Yelp
Was intrigued by the Italian cream cake and ordered it for a birthday. Also grabbed an oatmeal raisin cookie. The cookie is pretty good, filled with butter and pretty mushy consistency. The Italian cream cake was OK, not great flavor. I have to believe it was not a fresh one. We served it the same day we picked it up. It's a triple layer cake and the bottom layer was hard and dry. Such a disappointment.

Yelp
I love La Spiga!!! It's the cutest family owned business with amazing food. The service is quick and the staff is friendly

Yelp
Delicious! The pastries are amazing and the pasta is really great! Hidden gem for sure

Haley T.

Yelp
I believe this place is very lowkey because of its location but the food never disappoints and the restaurant itself is very cute and homey. I have been here twice, first time ordered the Lemon Chicken Picatta, it was very good and flavorful. Today I got the Grilled Cheese with Ham and it was amazing, not to mention the homemade chips !! So good

Moni M.

Yelp
Had to hang out somewhere for a few hours while my car was being worked on and this little gem was close by. Figured I'd read my book and get a coffee while I waited. Ended up ordering a great latte and a delicious Croque Monsieur sandwich with Cesar salad and home made potato chips. Both the sandwich and the salad so great and tasty! And the in-house made potato chips... yum! And the service is very nice and friendly.

Yelp
Came in today during the Friday afternoon lunch rush for a pre-Valentine anniversary lunch with my spouse and let me tell you, ladies this place was filled with whole tables of men! I thought they were hosting a speed dating event or something, but there were just so many hungry men chowing down! Have been going here more than a decade and it just isn't what it used to be. Ordered the chicken and goat cheese pizza, which was missing the goat cheese and had regular tomatoes subbed in for sundried. Not as tasty as I remember. The person from the kitchen couldn't find our table and they weren't wearing any gloves. Got some attitude from the woman who finally found our table and she wouldn't take away the table number and left dirty dishes despite no room in the table. The service is so bad. Just use the catering or call in a to-go order. Unless you're going in for the many, many men dining there. Lol.

Yelp
Parking: Plenty Service: Super friendly, Menu on QR code Ambiance: Tables and booths, plenty Various bread types, finger food and lunch meals, prices are super reasonable. Great place for get together for breakfast and tea time. Will support such establishment hands down!

Yelp
Their lasagna never disappoints same with the bread. Everyone there is always nice. Very cute nice place to enjoy lunch.

Yelp
Love this place. The food is always amazing a it tastes so real I usually eat half the food becuase I'm so satisfied and satiated. Don't let the exterior fool you, the food is why people come in and keep coming back. The staff is always happy and friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a cute little shop in the back of what looks to be a warehouse. Don't let the exterior fool you, this is a hidden gem worth visiting. The staff are friendly and service is quick. They were happy to give recommendations and checked in on us after ordering. The food was delicious, and left me so happy and full. I HIGHLY suggest the roasted garlic potato soup and any of their breads they sell at the counter. The latte was made right in front of me and tasted delicious. All in all this was an amazing meal and I will be back!! Pro tip: they open early and sell fresh pastries that are delicious. Not pictured is their seasonal pumpkin muffin (heavenly!) and the Italian sandwich my husband ordered (May have been even better than my food!) Please do yourself a favor and try out this little shop!!

Yelp
This was my first time coming into this local spot and I was very excited based off of the reviews. I got a coffee, danish, muffin and a kolache. We loved the customer service we received this morning. The reason for my two stars is because of the bug found inside my muffin. Unfortunately, I had already ate half of the muffin when I realized.

Yelp
I love that this place feels like a secret. It's kinda out of the way but it's super cute with a fairly large menu. Everything is always delicious and the workers are so nice. If you're ever in the area for lunch I highly recommend.
google avatar

Shelly V.

Yelp
They have the best vegetarian sandwich-very tasty. Pastas are great. The staff is always very welcoming. The cakes are also delicious. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Fabulous ambience, service and food! Terrific coffee Highly recommend for small groups or just a "treat yo'self" moment alone. Eat in, get something to go or both today!

Yelp
Favorite place to grab a quick lunch! & the environment is great also. Definitely recommend. Food is delicious & service is great!

Neille K.

Yelp
We arrived to get some sandwiches right before they closed. The woman was super nice, took time to review the menu since it was our first time there and gave us samples of the bread. The pork tenderloin sandwich was awesome- and I cannot wait to eat my cookie and return.

Yelp
Delicious pastries, amazing service, and great hot food items. If you need a place for lunch, brunch, or a quick snack, this is the place! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The person working the counter answered all of our questions and also provided recommendations. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on egg bread with potato garlic soup and my boyfriend ordered the chicken piccata. The chicken salad sandwich is different from what many may be used to. It was very chunky with big chunks of grapes, apple and chicken. It was not mayo based. Interesting sandwich, that was good, but not exactly what I'm used to. The chicken piccata was delicious and so was the soup! We also ordered an assortment of pastries. The kolaches are massive! The bread is so soft. All of the baked goods were great, but I recommend the peanut butter cookie and cranberry muffin. Everything tasted very fresh and homemade. The peanut butter cookie was more cake like, very thick, and not too sweet. Try this place out!

Yelp
La Spiga's Italian cream cake is amazing! Excuse the poorly placed candles (we placed those lol). But the birthday decal is from the bakery and so cute. The cake is moist and delicious. The frosting is a perfect combination of tart and sweet. The ingredients are fresh and high quality, making the cake delicious. Every piece was consumed! Thank you, La Spiga!
google avatar

Jeanine A.

Yelp
I have used La Spiga for catering for years and years and I have also had lunch there o. Several occasions. Food is great - amazing baked goods. I highly recommend this business. Try their pasta salad / always a big hit, but you can't go wrong with whatever you order.

Kayla S.

Yelp
Highly recommend! Food: So good! Perfect Saturday lunch spot with fresh bread as the star of several sandwich options. Definitely take some desserts & pastries with you for later. (There are also complimentary sample plates on the table for dine-in patrons!) The staff was so helpful, patient, and informative. Can't beat kind people who love what they do. Also, the shop is just super cute inside. The perfect date spot or cozy coffee spot for friends. Like I said, highly recommend this gem.

Yelp
Boy, do I have a REVIEW. I just stumbled across this place on Yelp because I was looking for a quick lunch around my office. I went to the location and IMMEDIATELY, the smell outside is delicious, warm, sweet and inviting. and ordered a sandwich combo that comes with a half sandwich, soup or salad and housemade chips. I brought it back to my office and when I tell y'all... I had an out of body experience as I was eating this combo. I got the turkey and cheese hot sandwich and tomato basil soup. Say what you want about a simple turkey and cheese sandwich... but La Spiga somehow made it a delicacy. The sourdough bread that I got it on was some of the best bread I've ever had. All the ingredients were so fresh and complimented each other seamlessly like the Dallas Symphony during their Summer Music Series. And the SOUP? The perfect dipping soup for my sandwich AND on its own. This tomato basil soup blows every notable competitor I've ever tried in the past out of the WATER. The housemade chips were also fresh and lovely but I spent most of my time on the sandwich and soup. La Spiga Bakery will now be a regular spot for me. Looking forward to taking my friends here and frequenting it for work lunch getaways. God bless whoever made my sandwich, soup and chips and may the fruits of blessings be showered on the founder and staff of La Spiga Bakery. Thank you.

Jessica F.

Yelp
The bread is amazing! Also the specials 10 out of 10. You have to try their desserts at least once. I recommend the brownies. The restaurant is very busy with tons of seating but not very clean. I believe it is due to them being so busy. Also order ahead because there will be a line.

Yelp
Definitely a hidden gem! First, the service is amazing! Everyone is so friendly and helpful! The food was awesome! So much food envy going on here. I opted for the pasta (it was the first one on the menu. Wasn't sure what to expect because it just said cream sauce but let me tell you... WOW! And the portions were generous! Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
La Spiga Bakery is the cute neighborhood lunch spot that we all need in our lives. I came in at 10am with a friend and the place was fairly quiet, providing the perfect calm environment for my friend and I to catch up. The staff was patient with us as we went through the menu options and gave us that small town hospitality that I don't expect but am always appreciative of. While ordering, we learned about their various fresh made breads (a few of which were left on each table for sampling), and the different syrups that they offer for the espresso options (although they didn't have honey, I was able to get some pistachio and caramel added to my espresso which gave it a nutty yet sweet touch to it. Additionally, they were flexible about modifying orders! We ordered the veggie sandwich and pepperoni pizza. The veggie sandwich came with mushrooms, broccoli, spinach, tomato, bell peppers... it was packed with a variety of veggies and the vinaigrette gave it a zesty flavor to finish it off! The pepperoni pizza was just as impressive, and uniquely was cooked with pepperoni sandwiched between two layers of cheese. All in all both items we ordered were delicious. La Spiga Bakery - thanks for being the neighborhood hide-away café of my dreams!

Yelp
My job moved to a different part of town so I've missed this place. The pics I've posted are from their curbside delivery menu. When things are back to normal, I'll try to get over here more often. They bake amazing bread and prepare incredible Italian entrees.
google avatar

Cathy M.

Yelp
Love their Chicken Picata. It's delicious every time Very friendly staff and I loved being able to see my food being prepared

Paloma O.

Yelp
Welcoming staff that recognize me every time I come! The sandwiches are absolutely delicious. I've tried the chicken tarragon, roast beef, and the croque monsieur. I'm astounded by the quality of ingredients and the craft in putting something so seemingly simple together
google avatar

Yelp
I love this little place been coming here for years, and now it is less than five minutes from my work. Amazing fresh bread, sandwiches, pasta and salads. Don't be fooled by the outside looking like a warehouse. Their main business is commercial bread that they bake daily, but the café is quaint and cozy. The Croque monsieur sandwich is delicious and one of our favorite for everybody were I work.

Michael R.

Yelp
The food was awesome, service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I got the hot reuben sandwich and a peanut butter cookie, both were amazing. everyone should know that this little bakery Is here.

Yelp
This small bakery which offers fresh baked breads, soups, and sandwiches leaves a lot to be desired. The product is good but that does not compensate for a poor experience. There is no comprehensive menu of offerings. There are small labels in different areas (shelves to the right, left and behind the front counter) along with two chalkboards. You have to spend 10 minutes playing eye spy to figure out what they offer. If you're the type that likes to try different things and experiment, it's difficult to know what there is to order. There was even a dome with breads underneath - no labels on any of them to indicate the bread had a filling or not, etc. My husband has really wanted to try a specific bread from here. We have visited numerous times and they are always out of different items. On my most recent visit I didn't see the bread we wanted but I did see a label for basil, garlic, and cheese bread. I asked if they had any and the guy picked up three or four loaves to visually check what they were made with because they were not labeled. When I got home and sliced it, it was a jalapeño cheddar loaf and not basil, garlic, and cheese. Service wasn't great either. When I arrived I waited about 5 minutes for anyone to help me. I could have seen past this if it was easy to order and then I actually received what I ordered. I think we're done giving this place chances- just a frustrating experience each time.
google avatar

Connor K.

Yelp
Perhaps the best sandwich I've ever had. First time going, and you can guarantee I'll be back next week to try something new. That bread is killer!
google avatar

Daniel C.

Yelp
Great hole in the wall bakery! This place deserves more recognition. Everything here is fresh and the options are plentiful. The staff if so welcoming and caring. The plates are adequately priced and they also offer half portions if you're not feeling too hungry. Their weekly specials are also a plus and offer additional delicious options.
google avatar

Trevor H.

Yelp
The hidden gem of Addison incredible quality of food, extremely cheap for dine-in retail space, friendly and fast service. If I need lunch in the office, I probably come here 2-3x a week lol.

Tom G.

Yelp
Just discovered this place. I've eaten here 4 days in a row. Love the chicken lasagna, salmon on Ceasar, chicken and rice! All amazing!
google avatar

Ileana M.

Yelp
I could Spigabout this place all day! Don't be fooled by the name; it's much more than a bakery. Had a phenomenal Penne Pasta with mushroom, ham, and chicken in cream sauce, which was on their lunch menu. The al dente pasta, the soft and silky mushrooms, the tender, juicy, and lemony chicken, and the pleasantly light cream sauce... it was all fantastic. I could barely finish half and was pleased to bring home the other half for dinner. So worth the $10 I paid. Also had a bite of their Pork Tenderloin sandwich and died a little inside. Will be wrought with indecision as to what to order next time I eat here. Also want to point out that they put out so many free samples of their fresh bread with sides of jam and butter. It's the quaint, hospitable touches that made me fall in love with this place.
google avatar

Jay W.

Yelp
I've been a regular at La Spiga for quite a while now... and LOVE THE FOOD! Everything I've tried has been top notch! I DO have a small complaint. I was trying to order the pork terderloin (whole) via doordash, and I THINK there may be a glitch in the pricing lol. Please see attached:)
google avatar

Yelp
The food was so fresh. Melts in your mouth. Best kept secret. I would suggest for bread lover's to rush here.
google avatar

Cliff N.

Yelp
Went in for bread bowls and asked what sandwich to get. The cute chick behind the counter recommended an Italian sub on egg bread and man was it great. Doesn't look like much from outside but I'm stoked i found this place!

M P.

Yelp
I bought a whole cheesecake for a family birthday. Everyone loved it! It was creamy and delicious. Best cheesecake I've had in a long time.
