La Spot - Review - Fitzrovia - London - The Infatuation

"Brioche is the sandwich bread of choice at La Spot, a Spanish-inspired Fitzrovia restaurant, and they’ll be stuffing it with slow-cooked oxtail and Spanish red prawns, as well as serving octopus hot dogs and tapas. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Sinéad Cranna

Absolutely fantastic spot! The food is amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality. Plus, the crowd is great—friendly and lively, adding to the overall experience. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best places for delicious food at a great price. Brioche was soft and buttery, seafood was made to perfection and the interiors and ambience is top notch. Not to mention the wine bar downstairs! Staff is super friendly and accommodating and overall I just can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

This is a really nice place tugged away in a residential area just outside St.Tropez. We arrived around 8pm and didn’t struggle to find parking. We drove just past the restaurant slightly down the hill and there was some free parking available there. There was enough seating and we were helped straight away. The food was amazing, a simple menu, but what we had was really good and all at a very competitive price. The hosts were very attentive. There is nothing I could find that could be better so highly recommend this place.

Tried La Spot for the first time and loved it. The chicken brioche was so soft and full of flavour. Cosy vibe and friendly service too - definitely one of Soho’s underrated gems.

It ticks all boxes: good food, reasonable prices, great staff, upbeat music. 2 plates should be ordered for a full lunch but brioches are generously filled. Good cheesecake too. One minor flaw: cheddar is a bit too heavy to be combined with a fatty meat like oxtail; octopus brioche sounds amazing so go for it.

This new opening is just amazing. The customer service is excellent and so welcoming. The price point of food is AMAZING! Especially for the quality. And in the london summer it’s just top tier. Massive shout out for the churros. Best churros I’ve ever had. I will be going back for their £9.90 lunch deals because it’s a bargain for what you get. Loyal customer here now :)

Some things were great and clearly had a lot of effort put into them such as the croquettes and the padron peppers. But unfortunately the patatas Bravas were disappointing..they were just normal cheap french fries when they could be tasty hand cut potato cubes. The sandwiches weren’t to my taste but perhaps l would have enjoyed the octopus one but it had already sold out at 5pm…so overall disappointing.

Really delicious food. The brioche with oxtail was a standout - rich and comforting. The ribeye was perfect, one of the best I’ve had in a while. Great wine list, cozy vibe, and friendly service. Definitely recommend!
