"At La Stalla Italian Market in Newtown, the hoagie list is a tempting one, offering options such as the Italian specialty with pepper ham, capocollo, soppressata, prosciutto di parma, and fresh mozzarella, topped with robust roasted peppers and balsamic glaze and the French-inspired ham and brie hoagie with mixed greens, olive tapenade, and whole grain mustard. If you’re not feeling the traditional hoagie vibe at the moment, this Bucks County shop offers other creative sandwiches, such as those filled with eggplant, assorted grilled vegetables, or porchetta with broccoli rabe." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

Our server Samantha was great! We enjoy trying new places and we were impressed with the family style rustic indoor/ outdoor seating and sitting under the pergola... beautiful. It sort of transported us to a recent dining experience in Greece. Loved the octopus salad. Loved the Rigatoni Carbonara..that we took the left overs and had it for dinner two days later and it was just as good...and we never take away restaurant left overs which means 1- the portions were great 2- the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back!

We dined in for dinner. Everything was really good and the staff were really nice. I didn’t expect it to be that busy on a Wednesday night but it was maybe because we’re in a heat wave so not many people sat outside so it was good that we made a reservation. We started with the bruschetta, eggplant, and calamari which were all delicious then I got the ravioli al pomodoro which was good. For dessert we had lava cake with icecream which was rich chocolate and tasted amazing. Definitely a high end restaurant and would recommend for any date night or family night.

Pretty busy place. We were party of eight but felt very rushed and cramped. Our table was pushed up against some cabinets that took away at least a foot from the table making it even more cramped. My salad came first before appetizers. I did want it with my dinner. As we waited for appetizers, someone reached from behind me and picked it up and asked me if I need it boxed to take home. That was just the beginning. After dinner was over, I had some appetizers remaining that I was enjoying with a bottle of wine. As I took a sip of wine, someone swooped down and swiped the appetizers dish that I was eating. Before I could swallow my sip of wine and say something, it was gone.

La Stalla is quite the fine establishment! In fact, about a week before I got to eat there, Bradley Cooper had eaten there. The food is tremendously tasty, the steak was next level as were the appetizers. Even the bread was delicious. 10/10. Will continue to highly recommend this place. Thank you!

I love La Stalla, and last night I finally got to share it with my family. Lido took care of us, took our pictures when we came in and was so patient and coursed our dinner perfectly. Every time we got up we were given a new napkin, handling of all dishes and items on the table was perfect...nice to still find a fine dining experience these days. The food was amazing as always too. Julia was also so personable and helped us take pictures too again before we left. Always a favorite!

First time for me. Food was exceptional coming from a family who owned our own restaurant, I don’t often give that rating. Portions were generous, and staff was outstanding. Read some reviews about not getting a side dish with your platter. I had a veal dish and ordered a side of roasted potatoes. The side was huge. I do feel a few potatoes should’ve been served with the veal in lieu of ordering a side. My son had salmon, which was also a very generous portion and came with a side

From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like part of the family. The decor takes you to old Tuscany, but with a modern twist. The patio is the perfect place to enjoy a fantastic fun delicious meal. Everything was great. The bread was perfect, with a great crunchy exterior and a warm, soft, chewy middle. I had the bone in veal chop, parmigiana style. It was perfectly fried, crisp still, under the sauce and melted fresh mozzerella. The meat was tender and still moist. My colleague had the Chilean sea bass special which was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. For dessert I had the Peanut Butter Bomb, and if you are a chocolate lover, this was a rich decadent treat, very sweet, but I enjoyed it. The real surprise was the pistachio ice cream. They don't make it in-house, and I didn't figure out the brand, but it was the best pistachio ice cream I've ever tasted. It was creamy, with whole nuts, and it had a full roasted pistachio flavor with hints of butter and caramel.
