"To get to this restaurant you head up towards the church in the prettiest part of Corvara, where you’ll find the La Perla hotel, one of the best in the valley, on your left. Once inside the hotel, you’ll be accompanied to La Stüa (stube in Ladin), where the profusion of wood lends an intimate and romantic feel to the decor. Although the setting is typical of the region, Simone Cantafio’s cuisine will take you on an extraordinary culinary journey. Originally from Calabria, this chef worked for many years in Japan, just one of his many formative experiences. As a result, his dishes feature different influences, often with a focus on vegetables. The name of the restaurant is a reference to owner and manager Michele Costa, an indefatigable and extraordinary figure in the world of Ladin tourism." - Michelin Inspector

If you are in the region or relatively close to Corvara, it is a place you can't miss. The atmosphere is superb, decorated with great care in every detail. The flowers on the table, the low ceiling, and the paintings on the walls create an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The service was outstanding, and our waitress, Nicoleta, was perfect at explaining the dishes in detail. The wine list is impressive, with a wide selection of wines from all over the world. The walls are full of Sassicaias, showing that they know what they are doing. I still want to visit the wine cellar next time; it must be amazing. Last but not least, the food is exceptional. Local fresh ingredients, a mushroom broth that was one of the best I ever had, and a vegetable dish with 51 (yes, you read it right, 51) ingredients so tasty and beautiful that you want more. After the six courses, one better than the other, I can say that this is one of the best 1* I have been. Congratulations to the team. Ps check the way they access the cellar, it is very unusual.

The staff, food and ambience were all top, very beautiful experience. We had a family dinner ( tasting menu) of three people for my husband’s 50th birthday. The staff were very friendly and for the Chef I can only say that you can taste the soul of the south, perfection of north ( Italy) and innovation of Japan. Recommend

Chef Simon and his entire kitchen are a dream. We took a cooking class in the Michelin starred restaurant during our stay in Corvara and it was a highlight of the trip for our group. Highly recommended! Thank you again Chef!

Our last meal before our journey back home. Could not have asked for a better finale. From start to finish our evening was nothing short of amazing. We were seated in a beautiful room that was both equally rustic and romantic. The staff made us feel like royalty and the entire flow of the evening was flawless. Every dish was creative and properly balanced. You really get a sense for the Japanese influence chef Cantafio imparts on his dishes. By a landslide, and possibly one of my favorite dishes ever was the risotto. Every now and then (rarely) one eats something and has an "oh sh.." moment. This was one of those moments. Can't wait to return

One of my favorite dining experiences of all time. The pre-fixe menu, with about 10 courses included the small bites, is well orchestrated like a performance — the waiters manage each course transition seamlessly. The whole experience is 3 hours. We had a group meal here on the last night of ski safari and felt incredibly pampered. The highlight for me was sea bass and the pastry for desert. The vibe of the restaurant is a cozy farmhouse with private rooms/spaces for each party. Each dish has Italian and Korean influence.

From the start of the night it was amazing. The staff are amazing and the kitchen is incredible. All of the food was out of this world and the wine was so delicious. The experience was amazing as the staff walked us through each dish and we learnt about each food Tour of the Michelin star kitchen is a MUST!!

One of a kind experience! We were here at NYE welcoming 2020 and we enjoyed every part of the Michelin experience. We had 7-8 courses, they showed us the kitchen, the wine cellar, the service was exceptional and all every dish was prepared with love and sense of perfection.
