My mom is 88 and cognitively impaired, quite clearly has dementia. She went into the store for 15 minutes and came out having spent over $1,800!!! See attached photo! I called and tried to explain that it is not really fair to take advantage of the elderly in this way and got nowhere. I wasn't asking for a refund or anything but they could have maybe taken some of the profit margin off - or something. It was frustrating. Our mom clearly cannot afford to spend that kind of money. So before you walk into the store, beware, be very ware.

Be careful! My second appointment at La Suite was with a different esthetician named Iwona today at 3:00pm. Before she started, I informed her of my super-sensitive skin that reacts to everything, so I told her I could not have any harsh peels/exfoliations or electrical treatments performed on my face. I informed her that my dermatologist told me to use Cetaphil for sensitive skin as my skincare. Ywona said "okay, I will only do exfoliation treatment which is non-electrical and very good for your skin". I got hesitant and said: "let's not have any devices at all", but she interrupted and assured that "it is not a device, it is number 1 exfoliator on the market" and that she has been working for 29 years so she knows what she is doing. Ok. Ywona started the treatment and only then decided to inform me that it was not a regular step of the facial, but "oh, by the way, it is $125 extra". It is extremely unethical not to inform your client of this beforehand, especially when they do NOT ask for it! I told her that I came with a limited budget today and next time I will prepare better. She told me she would not charge me for this, so FINE. The rest of the facial felt rushed, the extractions were extremely painful to the point that I told her "it is okay if it is not ready to come out, just leave it, I don't mind". I have never had such painful extractions in 10 years that I have been getting facials. In the end, she put a warm towel to clean the mask off my face and my face was so irritated that it was burning from the contact with a towel so I told her that. I came home with leftovers of the cooling mask on my face. However, the WORST PART is that I spoke to my dermatologist and found out that this exfoliation should have NEVER been performed on my skin! First of all, it has to be performed by a qualified, experienced board-certified physician and the treatment has a list of contraindications (attached) which obviously did not concern Ywona. She never told me about them, never asked me if I take any blood-thinning oral medications (which I DO!), never told me it was bad for people with rosacea (which I DO have), or for people with moles (which I DO have on my cheeks), neither has she shared ANY of the details of the treatment, which turned out to be a SCRAPE OF A SCALPEL on my sensitive skin!!! Is $125 really more important than health and safety of your clients? Hope my unfortunate experience will help people be better informed before they come to this place.

I was very happy with the results from my recent facial. The staff is knowledgeable and very professional. I like the concept of how they start you off with the basic facial, then customize (a la carte) according to you skin needs. Also like that they use a variety of tip name brand products based on each brand's strongest products. I walked out feeling rejuvenated! My skin looked bright for days and weeks later!! If you are looking for a spa that is intimate with big results than this is the spa for you! Note- while they accept credit cards for all services, bring cash for tips

Very chic and relaxing atmosphere. I've been coming for facials for many years now and my skin is always left feeling hydrated and clean. Rhea (owner) is extremely professional and always looks to ensure that her clients are fully satisfied. While waiting for treatment in the waiting room, I hear nothing but positive feedback from other customers. The spa completely encompasses a positive and relaxing environment and energy. The estheticians are very receptive to individual needs and accommodating accordingly. Highly recommend!

Best Facial I've ever had, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great Selection of products and very conveniently placed by the train.

This is possibly the best skincare I've received in 15 years of Greenwich spa hopping. Very happy, and so is my clear, glowy skin.

It was a good facial but don't plan on getting the full 90 minutes! Mine ended 20 minutes early.

What an incredible place, atmosphere and services!! The ABSOLUTE BEST FACIAL I ever had. Rhea is amazing, the place exhudes class and elegance...The best hidden spa gem in Greenwich. I love the Oxygen facial and shhh... best brazilian in the tri-state!! I go back with my daughters, (now regulars too) and always leave the spa with smile on face and glowing complexion! Highly recommend to all ages, beginners or pro you will be amazed!

I absolutely love this place! La Suite's atmosphere is one of luxury and relaxation, with an excellent friendly staff and clean rooms that have the most fantastic, comfortable treatment beds. The facials leave my skin looking younger, tighter and glowing to the point that I don't even need or want to put on make-up after. If you try La Suite at least once I guarantee you will be hooked :)

La Suite is the best place to get a facial in the Fairfield County Area. Everything about my experience was wonderful, from the kind welcoming to staff to the knowledgable aestheticians, I highly recommend everyone to go. They have a product for anything you need and more and they are the best of the best!
