12 Underrated Restaurants to Try in Los Angeles

"This Boyle Heights staple is steps away from Mariachi Plaza. Formerly Super Tortas Luisitos, the name is the only thing that’s recently changed. Tortas are the house specialty, but the menu also includes fresh juices, burritos, and a chicken soup that rivals any restaurant in the city." - Eater Staff

Google
I tried the torta cubana and it was really really good, it was just loaded with yummyness lots of flavorful, juicy carnitas nice breaded milanesa and a nice big slice of ham with all the fixins . It looked like there was only one person working so it was a little wait but very worth the wait. Their red sauce has just a little kick and very good flavor. If I'm I'm the neighborhood again I would definitely go back

The food is phenomenal here. It's a small mom and pop shop. The food is under price for the quality. Plus they serve fresh juices and smoothed. It can get pretty packed inside but does offer limited out door seating

I got the Quesadilla con Carne and the total Mexican torta these are very big so I recommend sharing with a friend or if you're really hungry. This is worth the price he has really good smoothies too i got the Fat Away and it worth it very delicious. Support a good small business like this very friendly as well.

The food is so good. Homemade and authentic. The salsas are spicy and rich. And the roasted chilitos are the perfect touch! The huge servings are priced so reasonably. Look at the guacamole!

Good tortas. Keep in mind though, they don't put their prices up. Like, I've been there two weeks in a row. Because it was good. But they like, straight up refuse to post prices on their menu. It's a lil weird lol also, there does not appear to be any parking. Like, you can park on the street, if there's an open meter. But otherwise, you're better off going during non-peak hours
