"On Binic port, this contemporary brasserie has large bay windows overlooking the sea. The chef with a glittering track record (Le Coquillage – Maison de Bricourt in Cancale, La Pyramide Patrick Henriroux in Vienne and K2 in Courchevel) likes to cook up his enticing brand of "bistronomy" cuisine, incorporated into set menus that represent good value for money." - Michelin Inspector

"The first floor of this house overlooking the port sets the scene for many a fine meal. After a remarkable career (Coquillage at Cancale, La Pyramide – Patrick Henriroux at Vienne and the K2 at Courchevel), chef Samuel Selosse now gives free rein to his creativity. Firmly rooted in the zeitgeist and always exquisitely presented, his cooking showcases first-rate ingredients, be they fish or vegetables, giving rise to delicacies such as cauliflower in citrus fruits and fire roasted cuttlefish, brill from small boats, asparagus and seaweed-flavoured hollandaise sauce or a pine-flavoured creamy millefeuille. His sommelière wife runs the dining room with the same drive and sense of purpose." - Michelin Inspector

We drove over an hour just to try this place and it was fully worth the drive, and we would drive even longer if needed. Absolutely incredible place in every way possible. Deserves its Michelin star and definitely deserves more. The Menu Des Notes Côtes was absolutely perfect. The exploration of different ingredients and the variety of the dishes was both impressive and fun to see and eat! A great place and worth a long drive to eat!

We’ve been here twice now and were thoroughly impressed both times. First time was at the bistro and second time was upstairs. Fantastic food, smooth and friendly service, and overall a really lovely experience. Looking forward to visiting again next time we are in the area.

We dined in the Brasserie which boasts a Bib Michelin. The lunch was disappointing to put it politely. A disorganized caprese salad was presented as if thrown together with clumps of mozzarella and a couple of basil leaves. The ceviche of pollack was thickly cut and served with a mayonnaise salad of cubed potatoes and carrots and a green in bean. The main course however was truly shocking. The chicken pasta came with cold noodles (not intentionally) and uncooked chicken. This treasure had to be sent back for another go. The market fish of the day was tuna which had been cooked within an inch of its life. The chef did ask me for feedback and took in the input given gracefully. They did comp us a bottle of water which we had assumed was free anyway as we had asked for a carafe. Overall or at all the experience we were expecting.

A nice surprise! Our 3 menus (the 2 cheapest ones) were well-presented and more importantly delicious. - I sampled almost all of each - The service was lovely and we had a full view on the beach. I will definitely visit again next time I spend time in Binic.

Dinner at the "Brasserie", not at the star Michelin restaurant upstairs. A place you really want to like as a short menu featuring local fresh products, well cooked and very tasty, a superbe location and a rather short but interesting wine list should do the trick. However in the end, it does not deliver the expected enjoyment. The staff is professional and attentive but getting a smile will require you to work hard to break the ice. The food presentation in the plates totally lacks of fun and inspiration. And the room lighting is so bright that everything looks cold and clinical. A touch of emotion, warmth and enthusiasm would be welcome to make the whole experience attractive.

Amazing food and beautiful presentation. I’ve been to many Michelin starred restaurants and this is definitely headed in that direction. Having opened just before covid, it has been a struggle for this young chef and couple, but they are persevering in their innovative cooking, their attachment to local food, and experimenting with homemade ingredients. Favorite dishes were : a milk/lemon/honey dessert which surprised by the association of sweet and sour, a chocolate dessert with buckwheat, highlighting interesting temperature and texture combinations. And I usually don’t love dessert! The other dishes all highlighted how great cooking can make a simple ingredient a masterpiece (beets, chicken breast, onions), but the filet of sole and the scallops were also perfect. Definitely will go back in a couple months for the new menu, which changed regularly.

The gastronomic food was not very surprising and expensive for what it was .The decoration of the place was lacking of warmth and ideas. The staff was polite and cold. There is definitely room for improvement....
