La Table de Haute-Serre is the kind of countryside gem that makes you want to slow down and savor every detail. Set in a beautifully restored stone building, the atmosphere feels both rustic and refined, with wooden beams and wine barrels adding to the charm. The outdoor terrace is peaceful, surrounded by greenery, making it a perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The staff were welcoming and attentive, adding a genuine warmth to the whole experience. The food reflects the care they put into the place itself — seasonal dishes crafted from local ingredients, presented with elegance but never overdone. The foie gras was smooth and rich, paired with just the right touch of sweetness, while the fresh tomato dish felt like a tribute to summer. Mains were hearty yet balanced, with both fish and meat prepared to highlight their natural flavors. Desserts were playful and delicate, the kind that leave you smiling at the end of the meal. It’s also worth mentioning that dogs are welcome here, which makes the relaxed countryside atmosphere feel even more inviting. Very special venue with food served with panache and just yummy! The beef rib, 1kg for two made a big impression!!! The crepes suzettes were just wow and succulent, prepared at the table by our server. Special! Super

Food is very well presented with interesting combinations. However over seasoned and undercooked. Ample parking. There are two set menus and an a la carte with truffles. Very few high quality restaurants open on a Monday for lunch in the area. But this one was still virtually empty. Only 2 tables in use out of 20.

Very lovely high-end restaurant. We had the degustation menu, which was extremely well presented. Staff was very helpfull and we're all very professional. Since we had dinner on the day of our engagement, the staff came with us to take some nice pictures in the beautifull scenery. Will most definitly recommend!

Beautiful wine château close to Cahors in between their private vineyards. A pro annum selection of their excellent Malbec. We very much enjoyed our dinner on the terrace. Plates with focus on local ingredients, eye for originality and aesthetically dressed. The team was very friendly, but our first waiter was clearly missing experience/table education (Last minute stand-in?) and sometimes the team made small errors . Most was compensated and corrected by the see-all +++ maitre.

Here is for nice modern French with great malvec wine. Recommended for tourists too.

Elegant, sophisticated and delicious. We appreciated the accommodation of our very basic French. Wonderful service. Amazing food
