"Japanese chef Takayuki Kamiya and pastry chef Claire, his French-Japanese wife, have set up shop on the seafront of Cagnes-sur-Mer. The food is inspired by their adopted homeland (Provence) and their family backgrounds. Their set menus feature dishes inspired by France and Provence (sea bass in an almond crust, courgettes and pistou) and elevated by discreet Japanese touches (wakame, oloshi sauce, yuzu). Both the delicious peach dessert with verbena jelly and the rum baba, a house classic, are out of this world." - Michelin Inspector

La Table de KAMIYA

I just spent a week on the Riviera and this was by far my favorite restaurant during my visit. In fact, I’ve been going to the Côte d’Azur once a year for the past 20+ years and this is definitely one of my top 5 favorite restaurants on the Riviera. I will go back again every time I go to the Riviera! Great food, excellent service, cool restaurant (built around a tree!). And the prices were reasonable. What a great surprise! My family ordered 7 of the 9 items on the menu and all were very delicious! The menu is french with a Japanese touch - full of plenty of surprising and yummy flavors. I loved the red pepper (poivrons) sorbet in the aubergine/eggplant starter, and my Iberico pork chop was delicious. I tried a bite of everything- all of the dishes tasted great and not one dish disappointed, and there were excellent surprises. They even had sparkling Sake! The wait staff is friendly and efficient. The two level restaurant and open kitchen created an excellent atmosphere. Thanks for a great evening. All four of us loved it! (And the tree inside is super cool!!).

We had dinner at La Table de Kamiya yesterday, our second visit in two years, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. The quality of the food is exceptional, with each dish thoughtfully crafted. The flavors were fresh, balanced, and perfectly suited to the season. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, which we truly appreciated. Unlike many places where you feel rushed, this restaurant offers a completely different experience; refined, relaxed, and genuinely hospitable. Frankly, I’m tired of overpriced restaurants serving mediocre food. La Table de Kamiya stands out as a true gem and, in my opinion, the best restaurant in Cagnes. Try it, you won’t regret it.

Absolutely delightful restaurant, beautiful presentation and delicious food. Very original dishes, from the entrée to the dessert. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Love coming back here and trying their changing menu!!

The food is excellent, expertly prepared and well presented. Given the price, it is really good value. My filet of beef was tender and delicious. The fish of the day very good. They do French cooking with a Japanese touch. The people in the kitchen know what they are doing. The service on the other hand absolutely terrible: the waiter is perhaps the rudest I have ever encountered in my life. On arrival we ordered drinks, which he served without any snacks. Because our friends were late joining us, we asked for some bread, at which point he answered, word for word: "We make our own bread, so we don't give it out to people just like that" and brought us eight (no more no less) thin measly socca chips. Unbelievable. He also served the food with a long face, and without describing the dishes. I am being very generous by giving 3 stars. The excellent food truly makes me want to come back, yet it is a real shame that they hired such a terribly rude waiter. This restaurant deserves much better.

A lovely French restaurant with clear traces of Japanese traditions, yet without drawing attention to it. This creates a warm, sincere, welcoming feeling that is accompanied by the perfectly prepared dishes, a pleasant staff, and a beautiful interior.

With this service no food can feel delicious. You have to choose a menu of 3 dishes for 1 person and they refused to serve us 2 menus for 3 people and had an argument with us when we insisted! Awful service, won't advise anyone to go there.

Amazing! Incredible experience. The service was extremely good and friendly. The food was on a similar high level. First time in a while that I got a perfect medium-rare steak!
