Review of the Reopened Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris - AFAR

"A regal, fine-dining restaurant whose dining room evokes Beauty and the Beast (complete with a glass-encased rose on each table); service and Disney-inspired desserts are outstanding, staff provide personable, insider-y hospitality, but some French-inspired dishes—including items on the kids’ menu—can be over-the-top and sauce-heavy." - Blane Bachelor

We headed to La Table de Lumière at Disneyland Hotel for a birthday dinner — and it delivered across the board. The setting’s elegant without being stiff, the service polished but relaxed, and the food genuinely impressive. Each course came out well presented and full of flavour. Our waiter was excellent — friendly, professional, and struck a great balance throughout the evening. During the meal, four Disney prince and princess pairs made their way around the room — we ended up getting photos with all of them, which turned into a fun and unexpected part of the night. As dessert hit the table, the castle fireworks kicked off — great timing and a solid end to a great evening. If you're after something different while at Disneyland, this one’s definitely worth booking.

This place beautifully decorated. The staff is amazing! They were so welcoming and helpful. It was a top notch service experience. One of the best I’ve had at Disney! It’s like going to Cinderella’s Castle at Walt Disney World. The food is not why people come here. At least for vegans, the food was okay. We were shocked we had two options to pick from! Each section had two vegan options to look over. We both got them so all are pictured. They just felt a bit flat. The princesses and princes were delightful! They were so sweet! Great photos from dining here!

Dining at this restaurant is less about the food and more about the unforgettable experience it offers—especially the enchanting visits from the Disney princesses. Whether you're five or fifty, the warm, personalized attention each table receives as the princesses make their rounds for photos creates a magical and heartwarming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly attentive, and the service is smooth, making the entire visit feel special from start to finish. As for the food, there is a noticeable improvement in quality compared to their other flagship location, Manhattan’s. The presentation is thoughtful and the menu is varied enough to suit most tastes. However, while the food is certainly enjoyable, it still doesn’t quite reach the heights one might expect in terms of flavor and refinement. It’s satisfying, but not the standout component of the experience. Overall, this restaurant shines brightest for its ambiance and exceptional character interactions, making it a must-visit for fans of Disney magic and memorable moments—even if the cuisine itself isn’t the main attraction.

The staff was the best in this restaurant! So lovely and they made my friends 30th birthday so special!! The food was good. we definitely didn’t go to this restaurant for the food but the food was good!! The main reason was the characters and they didn’t disappoint. We met Aurora, Tiana, Naveen and Belle with her prince

Perfection! We ate here 3 times during our recent DLP trip. We tried almost everything on the menu. Some things were amazing, other things not necessarily to our taste. Regardless, the restaurant is magical! Our number one reason to dine here was the character interactions with the princesses and their princes. This well and truly exceeded our hopes and dreams. The restaurant is even more exquisitely decorated and breathtaking in person. Staff are extremely lovely and attentive. Food is nice and presented in the most gorgeous way with no attention to detail spared. We had the winter rose cocktail which has a real red rose frozen into the ice cube. Tableware is divine. We would come back here again and again without hesitation. The best dining experience we have ever had!

The food was ok. Not as nice as most fine dining restaurants, but I suppose you pay premium for the experience.

We had an amazing experience in this restaurant. When we walked in, the enchanting atmosphere amazed us. The romantic and royal atmosphere blew our expectations away. From the chandelier, the beauty and beast theme to the tableware, the decorations were all gorgeous. The food was also high quality. We started with a tender scallop and lobster which was absolutely delicious, We then moved on to the main dish, lamb and steak, We highly recommend the lamb and to finish it off, for dessert, we had chocolate cake and a classic Gannache Chocolate Blanc Poire, the classic one was amazing, which is in the shape of Beauty and Beast. We enjoyed every single bite. While we were dining, we were graced by the princes and princesses, Our amazing waitress helped us to take many good photos. Again, the best dinner during our trip to Disneyland Paris. If you are staying at the Disney Hotel, You absolutely should check this magical restaurant out.
