La Table d'Élise

"This chic and trendy brasserie, located a stone's throw from the Japanese garden and the Grimaldi Forum, welcomes diners in a modern and spacious setting, with pop music providing the soundtrack. The Provençal cuisine, prepared with good seasonal ingredients, is on point. It includes unfussy, generous and tasty dishes such as vitello tonnato; gnocchi with shellfish butter, roast prawns, green jus with chervil and green aniseed; rum baba. Take a look at the menu du marché and the formule lunch deal." - Michelin Inspector

The food is obviously wonderful and tasty. More importantly, the couple next to us were not perturbed when my 11 month old needs casually walked to their table on multiple occasions during dinner. Later we realized that the gentle couple at that table were the owners of the restaurant! Our server (Sebastian?) was equally receptive and willing to guide us through our multiple questions and dietary restrictions. Def one of the best meals we have had in southern France. Thank you again!

Atmosphere and service was fantastic and welcoming. We found the duck main (in the attached photo) a bit too lean and lacking flavour. Other dishes were good, although don’t get the Rum Baba cake unless you REALLY like rum / syrupy sweetness. As this was the first time I had tried this type of cake and it wasn’t to my taste, the staff did kindly offer to replace it.

We were group of friends spending long weekend in Monaco. Our Easter Dinner we’ve had at this beautiful place and were happy with our choice. Stylish decor and dinnerware, very spacious and aesthetically elegant. We have had a warm welcome continued by an excellent service. The Easter menu was very tasty . Obviously it consisted of lamb which was delicious. Even those who are not a big fan of lamb confirmed that it was melting and was odorless . Desert deserves a few words. Unfortunately picture and video can’t replace neither flavor, nor scent. When we’ve seen an Eastern Egg we all had exclaimed WOW 😮😮😮😮 And it was really wow! D E L I C I O U S 😊 Thank you, dear Chief for your excellent service. With kind regards, Geneva International team 😊

Excellent restaurant with good service. Phantastic desserts. The 49 Euro menu with starter, main course and dessert is very good value for money! 😊

We enjoyed a three meal course with starter, main and desert including winepairing (two glasses per person). Great pricing for being Monaco. Cosy environment. The meals were tasty and and large portions. The truffle risotto was to die for!! We had a warm welcoming from the staff with a positive attitude that made us feel great. The downsides was that the menu was a little bit confusing. However, it does not affect the quality of the food.

Perfect find in Monaco - food was divine and the service charming! Will return as soon as possible and the menu substitutions were excellent!

The waitress shout at us while we try to asked why one of our food is not arriving yet. One of of friends from the group did not get the main course. We try to match the bill with the number of order of the main course and she is becoming angry and rude and shout at us. Very unprofessional and just unpleasant. Unfortunately. The food today is actually quite okay.

First, the positive side. The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, earning the restaurant some praise. The pricing was reasonable, making it a decent option for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. However, my visit was marred by a couple of disappointing incidents. One major concern was finding bones in the fish, which can be quite off-putting. The restaurant should strive for better attention to detail to ensure such issues are avoided in the future. Moreover, the atmosphere wasn't as welcoming as expected. My dining companion and I felt uncomfortable as we sensed the staff's unwelcoming glances. We couldn't help but think that our age played a role in this treatment, as they didn't treat us as adults. It's crucial for a restaurant to treat all guests with respect and courtesy, regardless of their age. In conclusion, while the food was enjoyable, there are areas that could use improvement, such as the attention to detail and the overall service. A more inclusive and welcoming attitude towards all guests, regardless of age, would undoubtedly enhance the dining experience. While I can't rate it a 5-star establishment, it still offers a decent option for a good meal.
