"Not far from the seaside resort, this family restaurant is the stomping ground of a couple who have experience working in some fine establishments. Yoann Lavalley has bought the stove which he used during his apprenticeship and uses it to create seasonal cuisine that is both flavourful and indulgent. The sommelier, his wife, has curated a nice wine list that represents excellent value for money. Fish of the day, local meat, Normandy cheeses… A pleasant place." - Michelin Inspector

WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! not only five star a five WOW! Excellent food and front of house Sylvie is perfect in her role. My suggestion is the sample menu a pure gastronomic experience where Michelin starred chef Yoann displays his absolute skill in the kitchen. Delightful from start to finish if you are in the area and you love great food and wine look no further simply the best.

Probably the best table I've been to during my two-month trip in France. Excellent food, fine, researched, improbable associations and excellent service. They took hygiene very seriously, which in these times of COVID is greatly appreciated. Thumbs up all the way!

Excellent table. Particularly the deserts (the little mushroom on the picture here is a cake!) Very nice staff and faire prices, not far from the sea. Great place all around ! Would come back !

La table d'hôtes is a fancy restaurant but the atmosphere is amicable. Very kind and helpful owner. There's a tasting menu and a regular 3-course menu. The food is very good and refined and the restaurant is well organized.

A simply exceptional lunch. We chose the Convivial menu with a bottle of St Joseph Blanc. Every course original, interesting and faultless. Highlight fillet steak with black garlic and smoked eel. Highly recommend.

The food here surpassed all expectations... Truly incredible. Lovely cosy atmosphere, friendly and hard working host's, spoke very good English in comparison to my French! Wonderful place I can't praise enough. We will be back!

This was not a Michelin starred restaurant, but rather one they recommend. Plus the owner of the B&B I stayed at also said it was v. good. I sometimes think places like this is better than a 1 star restaurant because they are trying hard to earn that first star but their prices are not overly expensive. Once you've got that star you can start to charge more. My wife and daughter had the fix menu for dinner which, at 33 Euros, was a bargain I think. I got greedy and got the 51 E one which meant more course! Including two deserts! Greedy piglet. Even at 51 E it was worth it. I hope to go back again and if, by then they have gotten their first star, I wouldn't be surprised. Just hope the prices don't skyrocket.

Yelp
Hands down the best restaurant in Ouistreham and around. We've tried all places on Avenue de la mer, the main street in town, but they are in a different class than this one. Not sure why it doesn't have a Michelin Star. If you want to go to truly good restaurant, come here for dinner. If you want a really good for a price that is hardly more than for moules frites elsewhere (20 euros), come here for lunch. Come here either way, just to figure out what you missed until now. Yes, they don't take dogs here, like all good restaurants. A single 1-star rating of a silly dog owner destroyed the average rating of this restaurant which is too bad.
