"This contemporary brasserie – part of the Musée de la Romanité – is perfectly in tune with the architecture of the building. It offers an unobstructed view of the Arènes de Nîmes (or amphitheatre), as well as a seasonal menu overseen by Michelin-starred chef Franck Putelat. Tuck into true traditional French cuisine: egg meurette (in a red wine sauce); calf sweetbreads and mashed potatoes with Maury jus; trout meunière; and even the iconic crêpes Suzette..." - Michelin Inspector

Excellent food, warm welcome, and quality service. Dishes were well prepared and presented, very tasty. We really enjoyed the meal.

The stylish restaurant is next to the arena and has a great view. The portions were not so significant, but they were enough, and the food was generally good. English makes things a bit harder, and they sold us ducks as chickens, but overall, it was a great experience, and the service was fair, with a good view of the city.

Good view, great food, lovely service. The artichoke soup was interesting, but not very generous. The entrée with egg (which I forgot the name) looked tasty, but nothing special in it: quite tasteless actually. If you are looking for something different, I don't suggest to order the tartar. However, the shrimp dish was really good, the shrimps were fresh and tasty in themselves already! So you'd better order seafood or a dish prepared with a local products. The place is clean and just right. The restaurant is totally well located

This was a very odd experience, unfortunately. Not bad, but could have been much better. We both went for the set menu priced at €36. The first dish was the poached egg one, which was a good concept but I just found it bizarre that it was served cold. The egg was poached well, spinach cooked perfectly and the comte sauce good with crunchy croutons adding texture but it was pretty much served fridge temperature which surprised me, not in a good way. The main was veal blanquette which was presented in a modern style. The dish again tasted good, but the meat was a bit chewy, verging on inedible in places. The vegetable garnishes and rice were all cooked accurately and tasty but the main element let it down. For dessert I had the chocolate option which was basically a broken up crispy cake with Chantilly cream. It was nice enough if not kind blowing and needed more of the fruit gel to really ramp up the flavours. Service was excellent when you got it but it was far too slow and staff were often seen standing around inside the restaurant. This meal took nearly three hours which is just way too long. There were only 8-9 tables in so it's not like they were rushed off their feet. Could be so good but needs work

This lunch was a final point on our trip to Nîmes. Unfortunately, it brought a kind of disappointment to us. First, I made an order for me and than for my wife. In 30 minutes I asked where is my food as my wife was waiting for me as she had been served. So, her meal was already cold when the waiter answered that I hadn’t ordered anything except wine. I had to repeat my order and he finally brought it. It could have been a misunderstanding if he hadn’t tried to persuade me that it’s my failure. My food was quite nice but my wife didn’t like her meal at all as it was too fat. At the same time, wine was great. I could recommend this place just to see the great view of the Nîmes Arena. That’s it.

The service and atmosphere are wonderful. We sat on the patio and enjoyed views of the Nimes arena. The food does not match the quality of the service, atmosphere and prices. We had fish with peas, and steak au poivre. The steak was a lower-quality cut and the food was brasserie-quality. The kids menu (fish, fries, peas) was very plain (my kids like flavor).

We had the menu of the day, 3 courses for 22.5 euro. Great value brasserie type meal. Service was very good and the view and ambience outstanding. Very good value and recommended.
