"The restaurant of this lavish and long-standing luxury hotel is run by husband-and-wife team Franck Pelux and Sarah Benahmed. The chef's cuisine is expressive and intense: petits pois à la française meet melt-in-the-mouth gnocchi with caviar; "spring delight" of roast turbot meunière; pistachio soufflé. The silky smooth service, both charming and laid back, underscores this luxurious setting and magnificent views over the lake." - Michelin Inspector

"Under Franck Prelux, who previously brought a Star to Au Crocodile in Strasbourg, the restaurant of the Grandhotel Lausanne Palace rose from One to Two Stars with a very product‑oriented, classically based cuisine." - Le Guide MICHELIN

Google
Definitely the best Michelin two star I have ever been to, the food was spotless really good fusion with some inspiration from Asia. The chef was really friendly and welcoming. He also served one dish himself. Service is good in general. They will clean the table when you finish a dish. The dessert was one of the best dishes. I was so impressed even the year after I still remembered how good it was.

Have been more than 6 times since chef Franck and Sarah Pelux took and presented French with Asian touch over Edgar’s nouveau Italian cuisine(used to be our favorite restaurant in Lausanne). Surprisingly each time I went overall is more refined then before intending of cooking creation, service, selection of utensils… now it becomes my best choice of restaurants in Geneva lake region. Excellent sommelier 👍

What an incredible evening at la Table du Lausanne Palace. Chef Frank Pelux welcomed us in his kitchen and showed us his impressive skills all evening, the menu was incredible with unique taste and servings. His staff is so friendly and customer oriented we had an unforgettable time to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Special Thanks for the wedding cake which is my mum favorite and she was deligthed of this attention. Many thanks to all the staff and crew for being so professional and friendly. We will come back for sure!

Google
Outstanding dinner from the presentation to the wine pairings and impeccable service. You will never forget the food and experience overall. We had a party of 6 and had one of the best service experiences with detailed wine and food explanations, presentations, and unexpected bites course after course.

Google
Excellent 2 star Michelin restaurant. Top notch food and impeccable service. Views of Lake Geneva are breathtaking. The menu has nice variety and the tasting menu is surprising and outstanding. Highly recommended.

Google
Food & view were top level. The service was great. The sommelier gave us good suggestions for choosing the wine to accompany our plats. We had a great time having lunch here. It must be one of the longest lunch I’ve ever had, 4 hours. We did à la carte and all of us loved the asian inspired flavor. The only thing to complain is the desert. There are only 2 choices for the lunch and they are a little bit normal compared to our experience in another 2-star restaurant in Lausanne.

Google
What a delightful experience - Sarah and the team exceeded all expectations, both in culinary wonders as well as in hospitality and warmth. Flavours were bold and not overbearing, and one surprise came after another. Felt like home away from home when they celebrated our anniversary by bringing out a surprise next to the fireplace. Marie and Emmanuel who waited on our table were kind, friendly and utterly attentive, never imposing. Both spoke English perfectly. Ask for a table with the lake view, you won't regret it. God-willing, we'd definitely come back. :)

Google
We recently dined here for lunch, and the experience exceeded our expectations for both food and service. Every course we had, as well as the “surprise dishes” were delicious and wonderful. We chose to order a la carte, but there was also the option to have the lunch tasting menu. I highly recommend the koulibiac for two. The service was well choreographed, yet also warm and personable. Dishes were brought out and carried away in synchronized fashion. The owner and the chef each greeted us and spent time explaining the menu. I highly recommend “taking a detour” to visit this two Michelin star restaurant, a designation that is well deserved. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Yelp
We arrived at Lausanne two days ago. This is the last stop of our Christmas Markets trip. First we visited Basel, second to Bern then here in Lausanne. I waited until arriving here to have French cuisine. I knew I could find better French food here because it is closer to France and I was right. I found this restaurant among all the French restaurants in town, I liked their menu and their reviews. We liked it so much that we went there twice and we only stayed in Lausanne for two nights. First night we have onion soup, escargot, beef tartare, green salad, dessert - crème brûlée and ice cream. Second night we have the Seafood tower and salad. Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Ambience: 5 starts I love their menu because they serve more traditional French cuisine instead of those nouveau cuisine (like eating foam)-. I want to mention the maître d' named Adrien. I just mentioned to him at the first night that we maybe come back the next day so he sent me an invite to remind me so we did. I would call that's service and thank you for doing that.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times now, and I'm ambivalent-to-negative on this place. The food is ok, not great. I had an artichoke salad that was awful -- could barely chew most of it. The Entrecôte "Café de Paris" was a very poor quality piece of steak, with fat and tendons galore. The EB Burger (with a piece of foie gras on top of a patty) is different and delicious -- although the potato wedges that come with it are dry and should be substituted for regular fries. This place is pricey, and there other options that are better values (even in Lausanne, where prices are high in general) Service at the restaurant is hit or miss. For the most part it's professional, but there are definitely some wait staff who give the vibe of being arrogant. Given all that, the only reason this restaurant gets a second star is the ambiance is nice. It's somewhat of an awkward multi-level layout, but it has a charm to it. Classy and elegant. If only the food and service would match the surroundings, I'd be happy to go back.

Yelp
Nice pasta of the day with mushies, tried the goat cheese salad too, and got sum nice wine. People working there are kind and smiley. A little bit expensive if you take something else than the menu of the day (burgers soooo the expensive! But with fois gras or truffle). Big terrace on the road.

Yelp
Good food, not too expensive for what it is. Very classy but not intimidating interior. I ordered the filet de beuf, which as an American seemed undercooked but what tender, flavorful and excellent. My friend ordered the rack of lamb which he was also pleased with. The two red wines try brought out by the glass had good body but lacked flavor. For dessert, stuffed as we were, we just ordered the sorbet. I love when my ice cream is jus starting to melt and it came out in that delicious consistency! Flavor was just what I expected from raspberry sorbet, No better, no worse (Haagen Dazs?). No friend was very happy with his pear sorbet. All in all, a good choice in town.

Yelp
Service at the restaurant was good, but the food was pretty bad for the price. It was cold and we got a lot of regular salad with the main dish. Never again!

Yelp
You have to try this place best hamburger with foie gras. One of the best service in town, it is a bit pricy but it is worth the price in any case. I can say that is one on my 5 favorite places in lausanne
