LA TABLE SAINT THOMAS

I’ve been quite a lot abroad and visited many restaurants in different countries. Food was pretty much perfect, service was subpar. Seems like a place that appeals to the older generation and service standards thereof.

The restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I was so happy to find this restaurant and have an amazing dinner at a very reasonable price. I especially enjoyed the mushroom soup - which was perfect for a cold winter night. The neighborhood is a bit out of way from the city center, but it is a very easy tram ride from the cathedral. Definitely worth the visit!

Whilst the restaurant is well tucked away and quaint, the foods were honestly so delicious and well presented! Definitely a must try!

The food was amazing. Some of the best I’ve had for a long time. I really enjoyed it. However the level of service was significantly lower than the quality of food. As a non-French speaking guest I didn’t feel welcome. It didn’t only feel as if it was due to a language barrier, but a general hostility towards non-French speakers (which also included another table). Beautiful food but I wouldn’t recommend. I’m sorry that this is the case since I wish all the best for you.

Amazing food quality and the wine was lovely. It was a simple menu with two set menus (25 or 35€) or a la carte. There were 4 different options for each course. Everything we ate was exceptional and beautifully presented. The waitress was quite brief with us but I belive that was simply a language barrier (no English spoken by her and only a little french by us!) as she was happily chatting with some other customers. Excellent preventative measures in place for covid also.

Terrific local restaurant. Wonderful food, fresh and creative while still within the boundaries of classic French style. Excellent flavors, warm and attentive service. Highly recommended.

Lovely restaurant with great French food. Eating there was really amazing. The food was excellent and also proper portions. I enjoyed very much, the scallops as well as the “ris de veaux “. Also the desserts were delicious.

We went for lunch August 2nd. Beautifully fresh food with exquisite presentation! I would particularly recommend the fish– I had the sword fish which was incredibly fresh, perfectly tender on a bed of olives, tomato confit and greens. See the pictures of our entrees which were innovative and delicious!! We went for the à la carte dishes but there is a very affordable menu de jour as well. I highly recommend and will go back again.
