Google
Displays definitely needs some t l c.It needs work. It's very hot in there. The a c does not work very good if you're grabbing food and going. Is it okay to stay in there and eat? It's fairly okay. Do I recommend it not really.

Jeremy N

Google
Headed there for a quick lunch. Ordered horchata, street style tacos and loaded fries, all with al pastor. Al pastor but the way they prepare it made me think of pulled pork. Horchata is pretty good, thick and silky

Michael N.

Google
Small little taco place. Nothing special. Shredded Chicken, shredded pork and shredded beef taco's were ok they didn't have much flavor. I think the hard shells were from an Ortega box. Side of rice and black beans same way, not much flavor. Still better than Taco Bell.

Juan M.

Google
We ordered the flautas verdes and they look more like tacos verdes. The plate is two big tacos de pollo. And also the taco bawl. The taco shell was rancid, oily smelly old and stale.

Mike M.

Google
This was my first time here. Small but very nice and clean place. I was a little worried because it was not busy but I decided to give them a try. I was warmly greeted and ordered the Mexican plate with chicken tacos. I was impressed with the drink selection but I did not get anything because I had just finished a large drink. The lady working the counter brought over salsas and an iced water for me. That was very nice. The food came out quickly and everything was really good. I got way too full and had to stop eating. The portions were generous compared to other restaurants plate meals. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place for anyone who likes Mexican food.

Google
Don’t waste your time and money going there. Not mexican food at all. Beans taste like canned beans. food had no taste, salsa wasn’t spicy or had flavor whatsoever. Horchata is made out of the powder mix. When asked if i could have fries instead of beans and rice they said no. when i asked if i could have a flour tortilla and two corn they said i couldn’t mix them( didn’t even said i could pay extra for the flour one) i ordered fries for my kid and they add some spicy seasoning to them with out letting me know (didn’t said that on menu either). Lastly i asked for water since they don’t offered any and they were going to sell me a bottle of water when i only wanted some for my child who was not going to drink a whole bottle. place was empty (now i see why) and the girl attending to us was not friendly. Oh and i forgot to add, i ordered a tostada and my kid didn’t even touch it cause it looked nothing like a tostada, it had whole beans (from can), i got. chicken and cheese and instead of the white cheese i usually get on my tostadas they had the shredded one they use at taco bell. Taco bell would’ve been better tbh.

Aaron D.

Google
Taco plate was good, I had Pastor and Asada tacos. I think the Asada were better. The tacos had plenty of meat and came with all the stuff needed for a street taco. Rice was good, beans were average. I was impressed and plan to go back to try the rest of the menu!

Google
A small little unexpected spot, a hidden gem indeed! I was craving a burrito and found this place close to work on the Google machine. Figured why not? GLAD I DID! This place was great. The actual seating area was small but very clean and they had a TV on playing music videos. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I got the surf n turf burrito, jumbo, and boy oh boy! Definitely hit the spot. Had shrimp and steak in it served with green sauce and red sauce. The red sauce was less than desirable but the green was on point. The burrito itself was about the size of forearm, which is how they should be. No child should be able to consume this and that's just what I wanted. They also have beer on tap and a cooler full of bottled beer as well. Definitely 5 starts, Definitely coming back. Do yourself a favor and try this place out!

Yelp
My coworker and I stopped here for lunch to try out some of their tacos. You'll order at the counter, seat yourself, and your food will be delivered to you. I ordered the chips and guacamole for us to share and I didn't like it at all. It didn't taste freshly made but more so store bought. For the tacos, I ordered the Mexican style taco plate (3 tacos + rice/beans). The meats I choose: chicken, carne asada, and al pastor on a corn tortilla. The rice and beans definitely didn't come out hot (lukewarm) and the meat (tacos) just wasn't good. The only thing I enjoyed was the sauces to top your food with and the fruit punch jarriots ordered. I won't be back.
google avatar

Ashley G.

Yelp
Everything is so flavorless here do not come here! The customer service is horrible. And stingy when you ask for more limes or any type of condiments.

B B.

Yelp
Great for a quick pick up for tacos and Gordita's It's very simply but still good! Usually hits the spot
google avatar

Yelp
I really was happy to find this place, it doesn't look very fancy and looks can be deceiving, but it's a great little local spot with exceptional tacos. I absolutely love this place and plan to be back often when I'm in Dallas. The Mexican Style Taco (Carne Asada ) was all meats and freshly cooked, my mouth could not stop drooling. lol If you want reasonable cheap food to go near DFW, that will fill you up, and a local Mexican style that's not exactly authentic, but Flame broiled style; this is the spot for you.
google avatar

Joe K.

Yelp
I stopped in for takeout during COVID 19. They offer indoor, outdoor and takeout service. Inside is clean and the employees are friendly and quick. I got a black bean and cheese burrito and some chips and salsa. The chips were quite good and the salsas were a good variety. I enjoyed the hottest the most. The burrito was tasty and filling. Certainly would come here again.
google avatar

Yelp
Nasty food. Chipotle level portions. Employees and manager are rude and disrespectful and the whole experience was disgusting.
google avatar

Luis M.

Yelp
Carne asada tacos the best totally recommend plus churros dessert omg definitely my second place to eat my tacos thanks LA TACOS

Jailine N.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I are visiting from Los Angeles. We tried this spot around the corner from our hotel and it was soooo good. I got the 3 steak tacos and they did not disappoint. My bf ordered steak chilaquiles and he gave them a 10/10. (: total came out to $20 with a coke and bottled water. Good food, good price (: will try again when visiting.
google avatar

Isabella C.

Yelp
That food was good. I didn't try anything crazy but the asada fries are a musttttttt. Also tried the La taco and I would recommend it. Churros were pretty good too
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
Absolutely positively do not waste your money on this place. They try to give off some idea of crazy different tacos. But you're better off sticking with the traditional tacos. The sign looks cool outside but as soon as you go inside, it looks like they are broke. The service is very silent. Not excited to see you. And overpriced for tacos. I will not be back.
google avatar

Kendra B.

Yelp
Their meat is not fresh. I've tried this place a handful of times and they are decently priced, but their meat always leaves much to be desired. We eat there, but there's another authentic Mexican spot I prefer.
google avatar

Rafael M.

Yelp
The steak tacos weren't flavorful. Rice and beans could of used more flavor. I think they are a hit or miss. My order was for take out. I was dissatisfied.
google avatar

Brenda S.

Yelp
FYI you're not supporting an authentic Mexican or Latino owned restaurant. The name is also deceiving. I bought two tacos and elote. Tacos are a little expensive, carne asada tacos was at least flavorful, and al pastor was not pastor??? Corn was WAY TOO CREAMY more creamy than southern style cream corn. Anyway, my total was over $9 and if I wanted to spend that much I should've just gone to Torchy's or support an authentic owned taco shop nearby. Wanted to try out but unfortunately was not the best experience. Owner was nice but this might be a place for those who don't care about ownership, authentic flavor, and price. I can tell some of the good reviews are from friends
google avatar

Ivan F.

Yelp
This is my first time here! The food is really delicious, the carne asada and the barbacoa were my favorites and also the fish taco. Realmente lo que no fue de mi agrado es que la cajera no habla español, cómo no vas a hablar español en una taqueria !!! No se si realmente no habla español pero ella parece muy latina lol
google avatar

Tammy J.

Yelp
The food is AMAZING! Great service as well! Get the combo platter and the surf and turf tacos it is BOMB! They also cater if you want to bring this yummy food to your parties, weddings, events! Can't wait to come back and get more tacos!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
We were visiting Irving from out of state and decided to give this taco shop a try. This place was really good. I was apprehensive reading some of the reviews but I was desperate to find authentic Mexican food (as I am Mexican) and NOT Tex-mex. the staff was very friendly and bilingual. The food was fresh and good. I ordered carne asada Gorditas and sopes. Each were delicious and the tortillas were homemade and had great texture..not too hard and not too soft. The salsas were also pretty good. Overall this place satisfied my craving for authentic-what you get in a Mexican household-type of meal. I wish I remembered to take a photo of the food I ordered but I didn't! I will definitely come back and try more things!
google avatar

Jay S.

Yelp
This spot is a waste of money honestly. We tried to be quick and local because we normally drive 30plus minutes to get tacos. We got two combos, one Chicken & one Pastor. Neither are seasoned and very dry for both. No drink was offered with the combo. Really a terrible purchase. Something similar to cafeteria tacos in a jail or school setting. Please do better. I would've went to burger King at the least if i would've known. All sauce were on the side.
google avatar

Yelp
I got couple shrimp and chicken tacos- I live in Southern California with a lot of taco shops. This place aced my taco flavor of Irving, Texas. Their tacos were delicious and I would recommend and or would go again. Now I know why this place is so good. While I was enjoying a little bit of the atmosphere, three cruisers pulled over for a dinner taco or whatever these officers ordered.

Yelp
First time here came with friends! Because someone told me they have carne asada fries and California burritos. So we went and I got the Jumbo L.a. Burritos !! Let me start saying a California burrito does not come with rice and beans!! So I told them no rice and beans - got me burrito and no pico but it did have lettuce!! Who the hell puts lettuce on a burrito!! So they gave me another burrito! This time it was correct but the burrito was falling apart! It was way to greasy!! Tacos and burritos are greasy but dam this was the greasiest burrito I have seen in my life!! Let's just say I couldn't finish my burrito because it fell apart from the grease! I'm gonna have heart burn for one whole month !! My wife got a carne asada burrito with no rice and beans! She got the burrito with rice and beans! Same thing super greasy she didn't like it! My friends got tacos and same thing super greasy!! I won't come back to this place!! Nothing was good !!! Sorry to write such a bad review!!!!!

Yelp
Listen I found this place on Uber eats recently & I've ordered it probably like 3xs back to back already... SOOO GOOD lol! This is my new favorite spot.

milton p.

Yelp
name is Milton from Houdton Tx and stopped at L.A. Tacos today and I loved it food was hot fresh when it came to the table drinks was fine and I consider coming back soon.

Yelp
My first time was yesterday. I stopped in for a taco plate during lunch that I wanted to-go. They weren't very busy. They three men that ordered after me had sat down and had their food delivered before I got mine. Another man got his food as well, and he ordered well after I did. The tacos were chicken and filled with more L, T, C than meat. The rice was barely warm. The beans were cold and had no flavor. I won't be back after spending $15.
google avatar

Brittney H.

Yelp
The food was good! They stuffed the tacos with alot of meat. Loved how they seasoned the beef and chicken, so flavorful. Tortillas were thick & soft, 1 out of 3 fell apart (not bad lol). Salsa was not too spicy, had a great taste. Loved the rice..it was lightly seasoned. The beans were okay. The churro was fresh and good!
google avatar

Jasmine S.

Yelp
I called in my order a little close to closing time. Maybe that is why it seemed old and reheated. I get home and take it straight out of the bag to find a little black bug crawling out my taco plate! Waste of money, I couldn't even eat it
google avatar

Julia O.

Yelp
Nice clean restaurant but the food had no flavor. Had the flautas with rice and beans.
google avatar

Venkatesh K.

Yelp
Very bad service ordered veggie tacos I got fish tacos Rajan Manger he is with ear pods all the time won't even listen to any complaints to the customer.I am vegetarian end up eating fish in my life first time.
google avatar

Laura S.

Yelp
Had the carne asada tacos and they scratched an itch I didn't know I had. The flavor was good and the toppings fit well. Salsa verde was a perfect addition.

Kofi G.

Yelp
Highly recommended, food was really good and place was clean! Including everything on the menu (Texas cowboy is a must try!).
google avatar

Luis H.

Yelp
Everytime I go here, I leave extremely pleased. The food and the service are simply outstanding. They are really focused on getting you the best they have to offer. So far, their surf and turf tacos and their gorditas, have the number one position on my list. But, all the menu is great. I hope they start offering beer on tap soon (I saw the kegarator ready to go), it will make their outside patio very appealing this summer!
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
Not a good taco spot, too slow and getting orders wrong and inexperienced owners, that gave my food to someone else SMH

Andrea F.

Yelp
This review is based only on a single takeout order of 10 dozen churros that I placed. I requested a variety of flavors: plain, vanilla and caramel all individually wrapped since they were for a meeting at work. The order was ready on time, hot and fresh, the gentleman asked me to pull my car up and he carried all the trays out to my car for me. The churros were really yummy- the caramel was the best!!

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time this weekend. It was great. There are a bunch of things I wanna try. I will definitely be bback
google avatar

Derek R.

Yelp
I'll start this off by saying I'm from Los Angeles where the "Mexican food" is more authentic than Tex-Mex, obviously. While reading the reviews before I tried this place, I saw someone mistook L.A. to mean Los Angeles where it really stands for Los Amigos. I ordered a Steak Supreme Burrito with a side of chips and guacamole. The restaurant was clean and there was no line. The lady working the register was very polite, informed me of a surcharge on the steak due to the meat shortage caused by Covid. I appreciate that she was up front about it, and went ahead with the order anyways. I probably waited 10 minutes or less for my food to be prepared. The burrito reminded me of one I would get back in LA. The steak was tender and they didnt skimp on the fillings. The chips were homemade and fresh, which was great. The guacamole was different. It was creamier than guac I've had in the past, but the flavor was great all the same. I also got two sides of hot salsa for my burrito. For those than enjoy spice, it was about a 6.5 on a scale of 10. Good burn but not unpleasant. I've found my new go-to burrito place! Thanks for the great food, L.A. Tacos!
google avatar

Eric C.

Yelp
Very good food. Excellent salsas. The verde salsa appears to be avocado based. Very unique and it works so well. Pastor and carnitas will not disappoint. Tacos appear small but they are very filling. Couldn't ask for anything more from this place.
google avatar

Yelp
This place was an easy walk from my hotel and decided to give it a chance seeing mostly positive reviews. They have an extensive menu and I decided on the shrimp taco plate that includes a side of rice and beans. I of course being the fan I am of elote got a side of that too. After a bathroom visit I noticed my taco plate was ready and was told my elote will come out soon. The tacos had a good flavor and plenty of small shrimp the tortillas were quite soggy and greasy though. The rice had little flavor and some hard pieces throughout the small cup. The beans were straight awful not a flavor to be found, I doubt they're even salted. Finishing the majority of my meal the server finally brings my elote that I ordered 20ish minutes prior. I giving this establishment the benefit of the doubt was thinking it was made fresh and to order or at least as advertised. I was definitely let down by my cup containing chunks of corn with mayonnaise and maybe 3 chunks of feta cheese? The menu stated there would be tajin included but alas it was spiceless. I paid about $27 for my food (including a drink) and do not think it was worth it at all..

Yelp
[ 2 ] - Food Taste [ 2 ] - Wait Time [ 5 ] - Friendly Staff [ 5 ] - Location [ 3 ] - Fair Pricing Man, I really wanted to love this place. I really did, but sadly it did not make my money's worth in my opinion. If you are going to sell Carne Asada Tacos from L.A. Least add the Guac on the tacos.. That is what a Cali Asada Taco really is, and it's just mandatory. This was a big turn off when I opened my tacos and the Asada tacos did not have Guacamole. The meat was a bit over seasoned with salt, though tasted better than the Pastor Tacos. Moving on to the Pastor tacos, are these meant to be Pastor/Birria style tacos?? because these had no flavor of the marinade of a traditional pastor taco, the texture was way off. The texture was that of Birria (which the meat is more shredded) Traditional Pastor is whole sliced cut pieces that you slice from the Trompo, or slice from the meat. Sometimes can be cubed( TexMex) You can never go wrong when ordering " A Pastor Taco", but this did not have no " Pastor" to it. If you like your Trompo style tacos, you prob will not like this taco. The Elote en Vaso has big chunks of Elote ( Corn ) put into a cup with a lot of sourcream some cheese and perhaps Mayo? Was not a big fan, was more on the bland side.. Not sure how that even happens... I'd say it was decent. The title of the establishment does not live up the name, sorry very disappointed. The previous place that was here (Taco H) had some Bomb Tacos de California, everything I had there was good. It is not the same as some people claim because I do not see myself going back here again. I always like giving places several tries, but after trying out several items that are disappointing, you are left not wanting to come back. I hope they find more creativity in sorting their food with the title of their business, and make them stand out for those people who miss Cali food, making this a " Go-to" spot for Cali comfort food. Guacamole tasted pretty good! That did come in the Asada Torta ( why not in the tacos?) The service was good friendly cashier at the front. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Hot sauces were pretty good too. The pricing, was average for this typical kind of food - though I felt it was not worth that pricing for the taste. It did take about 15 minutes to get the food out, it was not that busy as I saw, usually tacos don't take long to prepare, but I don't mind waiting for food that good taste and quality.
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
My friends and I have been here a couple of times and had the street style tacos. Being from CA we find it hard to find good tacos out here. But this is our favorite place now! The tacos are fresh and delicious! I've also tried the Asada fries which were very good. Will definitely be returning!

cynthia h.

Yelp
Horrible!!! The toco meat was greasy and runny ..the meat did not taste fresh!! No flavor to any of the food I do not recommend this spot !!
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
Second time here within a few days. It's definitely hard to find good quality tacos nowadays. But definitely some of the best in the dfw. Although I just now realized they have elotes (which is also a favorite, that you can't find anywhere I feel like) I guess I just have to come back in another few days since I stuffed my face full of tacos, rice & beans. But I ain't mad about it #noregrets

Dennis B.

Yelp
great tacos and staff ate there twice while in Irving on business had the torta as well
google avatar

Cal C.

Yelp
I'll have to start with a only 4 stars because at 8:00 there was no more menudo! WTF? Ok but put a friggin sign out saying we're out of the Menudo! Trying the tacos de asada. They came out fast. Giving points for that. They looked small but they were tasty. I would come back for that. Guess next time I come back earlier. Good save L.A Tacos.
google avatar

Jen N.

Yelp
Walked in after wondering what happened to El Taco H. Ordered to go for the family. Supreme burritos, tacos, quesadillas and elotes. Everything tasted great! We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Ric R.

Yelp
Their food is decent ordered through grubhub I added a note about the beans preference, was ignored. The burrito wasn't half bad. Salsa roja is spicy but good, the dude in the front seemed lost, got there asked about my mobile order seemed so confused about mobile orders then proceeded to take another parties order, ten minutes later one of the cooks was kind enough to ask me what I was waiting on as soon as I told her she grabbed my food (which was sitting there the whole time) and gave it to me, only then the dude in the front was like "oh it was that one?" Dude had zero business being in the front. Will I order here again? Maybe not, not worth the trouble. And if you must be very specific about your order.
google avatar

Aikie T.

Yelp
Very authentic and delicious tacos! The al pastor is very juicy and mouth watering! I also love their tortas!
google avatar

Jay M.

Yelp
Came here with the guys, I had an LA style burrito with carne asada, someone had the chicken tacos (surprisingly juicy fresh and delicious), and someone had street taco plate. Everything was fresh made to order. It was so delicious! If you're looking for street tacos or LA style tacos and burritos, you HAVE TO try this spot! Horchata was awesome too.

Christopher P.

Yelp
FOOD WAS GREAT, SERVICE WAS BETTER. I was from out of town, looking for authentic Mexican. This place didn't disappoint
google avatar

Shauna P.

Yelp
Yummy food and friendly service! They've got a good selection of options, including Tacos, Burritos and Quesadillas, all with the option to be vegetarian. The Green Sauce served with your entree is addictive, so be prepared to pour that verde yummy-ness on every bite! And I learned from the owner Rejin, they serve homemade tortillas on the weekend. Totally encourage everyone to give this local spot a try!
google avatar

Jen W.

Yelp
I had the pollo tacos and they were seasoned perfectly! I ask had a side of elote, which had a lot of love in it! Soo good. My mother had the crunchy carne asada tacos and she loved them. My new taco spot in Irving!

Yelp
This is the 3rd time I've been here and I always ordered togo. The food is great and consistent. The tacos have had lots of meat in them. The surf and turf tacos are my favorite so far. Customer service has been wonderful everytime.
