I love the food here! Everything from the chicharrón and meat to their burritos and tacos. It's all delicious! The people who work here are so friendly and welcoming. Its small, but so loving.

Good mexican store. The tacos are good but you get what you pay for. The Menudo is better on Saturdays freshly made, by Sunday it can be a little salty because of reheating it. The birria tacos are good specially if you get them with the hechas a mano tortillas. They have the best carnitas, specially on the weekends.

The market has a few exclusive snacks you don't usually find else where. But if you get tacos the only ones that were good was the birria, I didn't care for anything of the other meats

Food is good, and service is good. Mixto and chicharrón tacos were my favorite!

They offer $2 tacos 🌮 with fresh made corn tortillas. They are bigger than the normal tacos which are $1 (store bought size). They are filling too!

Our favorite spot to get some good birria on the weekends, and this quesadilla de chicharron was soo freaking good omggg 😍🤤

Food was prepared quickly and the ladies making it were very kind. Tacos are made with handmade tortillas that are freshly made. Be sure to order at the front register and bring ticket to the food counter.

I have never left a bad review but this time I must. The menudo is over priced and it is absolutely disgusting. It's had a very unpleasant taste and smell. Will never come back. Seating area had a very nasty smell as well.

I'm not one to complain but Got their menudo and unfortunately most of the meat was actually just chunks of fat. Called to let them know and they said " that's how we make it here" . El menudo desafortunadamente era casi pura grasa con poco menudo, les llame para informales y me dijieron que asi lo hacen

Diamond in the rough LUNCH TIME!! MY coworker says let's get tacos my treat! I said cool where? He said just hang tite and don't tell a soul! We zig zag racing to get our tacos past all the usual places... We get to a lil hole in the wall market?? I said this is it? He says shut up and lock the car I can smell the aroma of a family barbque .. We step in it's a market? All kinds of ethnic goodies galore ... We walk past pan file Mexican candies glass coke bottles a piñata and avacados Way at the back tucked away was taco paradise The sounds of carne asada sizzling the chopping block n action and huddled around the glass counter were antious lunch goers eagerly awaiting their tacos! The ladies were friendly polite and very fast! I look at the mouth watering selections asada pollo tripas (don't ask ) adobada mix a chi Charon Cabelza and others.., It was like a secret portal to old Mexico Placed our order two of each!! With the flare of a Benihana chef our tacos were plated and served.. Garnished with green and red salsa jalapeño seasoned And grilled onion with a fresh hand cut Mexican lime!!! WOW!!! the price was reasonable And time to spare! The taste was amazing but I'll let you be the judge 5 stars A well kept secret and now you know Go get some tacos I mean some BOMB ASS TACOS!!

I've eaten here a few times and the ladies always get my order right. The food is always good and made fresh. I've tried the birria tacos and the meat is soft and tasty and the portions are generous. There are families filled in the store and happy faces. I like the crowed that is here.

Meat is very thick and hard to chew. They don't give out prices from the meat department over the phone either.

I am not sure how this place has 4 stars. It is full of flies! I used to eat here not often but a few times you know their tacos were decent but recently it's gone from ehhh it's ok to terrible. It smells horrible and there are flies literally everywhere! I ordered a Fresca con creme to get a cup full of whipped cream! With a little bit of frozen strawberries, cost $4.50. The "granola" on top was clearly old and tasted like it's been in that Tupperware for a looooong time! I didn't know all those flies were back there until after I paid... Honestly I don't even know why I ordered anything to eat from this place, their food use to be good but with the ladies having nails and rings on cooking the food touching it with no gloves I should have known. They need a deep cleaning they have like 12 ppl working someone needs to be cleaning! I just threw the whole thing away.. my 8 year old didn't even want to touch it..

The food is sooo good burritos are packed with all the good stuff. The portions are great not to mention the prices are amazing. Service is great as well they have bilingual employees who are the nicest. The atmosphere is overall wonderful. I love it!!

best chicharron, food, prices, and great service been coming here for 6+ years. The place gives a nice homey feel too

Best menudo in town!! My family also loves their burritos best bang for my buck. The cashiers are lookers too.

My favorite place to get tacos here in Riverside. It's super lowkey because the tacos are made in the back of the market. I always come here to get their $1 tacos. You order at the register in the front and take the ticket to the back where they will make your tacos right before your eyes! I love the asada and the carnitas. Their meat is always nice and tender. The tacos are a bit small but they always stack the meat on top. They have an area in the back with lots of tables. The service is also fast but they seem a bit unwelcoming towards me and my boyfriend.

The best place in the i.e. to get a great burritos... My favorite is Al Pastor with everything on it. Food is always fresh... best quality ingredients. People are really friendly and kind. They don't have burritos. They also have many other items tacos tortas, and dessert you have to check this place out 10 out of 10 for sure!

Good place to get Tacos and snacks. But I don't need Soldier Boy to open the door for me. It makes me feel uncomfortable.

The cashier was very nice , however my chicharron, buche & carnitas burrito had very little carnitas but had cueritos . Of which tasted old and some what like freezer burn , which means they were not fresh at all, and had no chicharron & defínately 0 buches, they ddnt add salsa the rice was mushy. and lacked salt, ,not recommended ,

So this place, super low-key, hole in the wall, or rather hole in the convenience store. I am so glad I found this place, when after eating at kimchichanga, I looked across the street and saw 1 dollar tacos. I was down of course, gotta try all those new places yknow. Essentially the price is 1 dollar plus tax, or rather they charge 1.10 per taco. The options are cabeza, pollo, al pastor, carne asada, and mixto (which consists of carnitas, buche, and cuerito. Overall, this place I gotta say is really awesome! Really affordable tacos, pretty much taco Tuesday everyday, with pretty authentic tacos made in the back kitchen. The tortillas are fried in lard, and a generous scoop of meat is added on top (it may be from a container, but they pretty much make a batch constantly so its still relatively fresh), and the classic toppings of cilantro, onions, and salsa, with a lime. Also, the service is really quick, you pay at the front, bring the receipt to the kitchen, and within 3 minutes ur chowing down. My personal favorite is the cabeza, it's really tender and they put a good amount of it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants taco Tuesday everyday, or actually, everyone should come try this hidden gem. Just don't everyone come at once, cuz then the lines will be too long and I can't get my tacos in 3 minutes.

Small market but very upset with the customer service the food counter, food is not great, ordered a couple tacos for pick up and a tortilla were soggy the customer service from the manager and the cashier are very rude will not be going there again. " even if the manager states " I have a lot of customers" you're rude customer service won't get far.

I just experienced an upsetting unexpected experience regarding a cashier- her name is Veronica she is extremely rude unprorsiossional I experienced a slip & fall after purchase of Menudo in store Veronica refused too help Mr replace my Menudo container was not sealed properly. She cursed me in Spanish & replied too bad? I returned back again & had a 2nd poor experience with Veronica she claimed there was an extra surcharge of$3.50 plus tax regarding setting the Pata- pigs feet too the side? When it's part of the Menudo I was never surcharges before I was always honored the request which lso comes with Menudo she spit on the ground out of anger which was unnecessary refused too give me contact info of upper Management or who was next in charge so I could report Veronica's wrongful behavior!!!

I finally stopped by to check this place out. I came in on a Sunday and ordered the menudo and some tacos. The menudo (no hominy con pata) was very good. It came with 3 large, thick, homemade corn tortillas that were delicious. The tacos mixtos were also great and the asada was average as its cooked on a flat top griddle then placed in those stainless steel containers with a lid which continues to cook the meat in its own steam. Order at the register and they give you a ticket that you take to the cooks in the back. They have various items on the menu that I will have to try.

Very clean and delicious food here! Got the Carne Asada Burrito, Full of flavor. Tacos are a buck! Don't drive past this place, grab a bite!

Easily my favorite taco place in Riverside. The $1 dollar tacos slap so hard and they're top quality. The burritos are a little pricier at $6 but always well worth it. I know for a fact that if more UCR kids knew about this place it would be hella busy, but for now it remains pretty lowkey. Stay patient, La Tapatia, we'll be rooting for you.

While in the neighborhood I was looking for taco Tuesday and saw the sign $1 taco everyday. I walked in and saw a market and walked to the back and saw the kitchen. I walked back to the front and saw a simple menu above the cashier. I paid to the cashier first and got a ticket and brought the ticket to the Amiga in the kitchen and ordered the taco. It was street taco. I ordered asada, Al pastor and pollo topped with cilantro, onion and salsa. The kitchen was dark and I saw a fly flying around. The Amiga would use her bare hand and no glove to put on the cilantro and onion. Now get to the point, the taco was spicy and delicious. I would be back for the taco if I were in the neighborhood.

OMG the Tamales are awesome I bought the chicken and the pork they were both very good got to go back and get more for xmas

Love this place they have the best service and they are clean. Before eating I always check out the surroundings and believe me they are fresh and clean love their food. The tacos are delicious and the best I've had in a long time. Will definitely come back soon

My favorite location for tacos at 1.10$ of many choices like asada, chicken, cabeza, mixto. I work right by here so I can whenever I want an affordable meal, I have also recommended this place to many of my taco lovers because its so worth it. Hole in the wall, but very very down to earth place. Recommended!

Saw this market driving by. Walked in and lady was cleaning nopales. I asked how much and it was only $1.50 a pound. Awesome.! I also got cilantro and both types of tortillas. Walked out of here only spending $6. Friendly staff. Cilantro could have been slightly fresher.

The ladies in the back are SUPER rude! They couldn't even get my order right. I said no salsa because the tacos were for my kids and they still put salsa. My son loves the tacos from here. So unfortunately I will probably have to return but I will try to find another place to get tacos from now on.

Worst tacos and super rude service! If you were new and not a regular honestly you would get lost. The seating area is a room that feels humid and just gross. No ac or air flow. Got our order wrong and they didn't even care to fix it. We asked for no onion and we got onion. Then instead of actually having good costumer service they just hurried up and told us the stuff is on the side. I bit into straight fat in 3 tacos and lost my appetite. Got home and all of us had some sort of food poisoning. I still have a pain in my stomach that will not go away and I only had a few bites. Invest in some quality tacos don't be fooled by the price. It may be cheap but it's not worth it.

I love this store, always has fresh and the best avocados. The customer service is great, I always feel welcomed

I buy a pound of chicken every Sunday for my fur baby. The chicken is always fresh & my fur baby loves it! My parents buy tacos here which they absolutely love! They say the portions of meat on the tacos are great & the taste is even better. Customer service is also great!
