I came to Montreal on vacation and my friends who live here recommended this place. What a wonderful surprise I stumbled upon! The food was delicious, with a truly authentic Mexican flavor. Latin music, friendly and attentive service at all times. The place is full of color, spacious, and very clean. As for the prices, I found them excellent — a very good quality-to-price ratio and a wide variety of dishes. Personally, my favorite was the large chicken quesadilla, with a slightly spicy touch that gave it a very pleasant flavor. A must-visit spot in Montreal!

Right from the moment I said hello, the waitress responded with “je ne parle pas anglais.” That’s fine, but a bit surprising considering we’re in Montreal, not a remote part of Quebec. I switched to French and asked for recommendations, but she didn’t seem interested in helping at all. I ordered the 2-taco combo with a drink (about $19 with tip): one carnitas and one suadero. When I asked which she recommended between carnitas and asada, she said the carnitas were better. The suadero (braised beef) was okay—bland and nothing memorable, but edible. The carnitas, however, were genuinely bad: it tasted like freezer burn and had large chunks of fat. I let the waitress know, and her response was simply, “that’s how our food tastes, but I’ll ask if you can change it.” I told her not to worry if it wasn’t possible, but she never followed up, which felt unprofessional. To top it off, I ended up feeling extremely sick afterward. Overall: 1/5. I do not recommend. Food was very low quality and not to mention the service was awful

I came here for a little birthday supper. The service was good. The waitress was hospitable. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. I ordered the al pastor tofu quesadilla. It was quite bad and the pineapple was missing :(. My partner had the pastor tacos and said that the meat was dry. Overall, I was disappointed—the atmosphere looked nice, and I was happy about the veggie option, but again, we left disappointed with the food.

The service, food, and environment are outstanding. I would recommend any tacos from the menu. Salsas were amazing. It reminded me to tacos from my hometown. thank you!! Good job guys!

This is one of the better Mexican restaurants I've been to in Montreal, and one of the better priced ones too. They have a great combo with 3 tacos, a soup and a beverage that falls just around $20 and that's with an agua fresca not just a can of soda. It's a spectacular deal especially as it's common to find 3x tacos alone for $18-20 at Mexican restaurants closer to the center. The quality was fairly good too as was the service.

$8 for just 2 pieces! ($20 total!) And this is what I got. This place used to be great, but now it feels like they’ve stopped caring about quality or presentation. There’s no love in what they’re serving anymore, just something thrown together to get the order out. Really disappointing, especially since this used to be my favorite spot for dorados. Sad to see it go downhill like this. Definitely not worth the money anymore.

I got the combo (6 tacos plus soup and agua de horchata) . The soup was amazing and the horchata water was very good. Unfortunately the tacos were dry (suadero) and carnitas don't taste like carnitas. But portions were good and the staff was amazing. I also like the decoration and of course the prices!
