La Tartareria

Wish I could give 10 stars. This restaurant doesn’t just meet the standards you except but exceeds them. It has been a long time since I felt such warm welcome from entering to seating and be able to have good interaction with the staff. I have no words for the food, it’s a beautiful trip of tastes! My absolute congratulations to everyone, Sandra and Mattias were super kind and professional whilst serving us! I really hope I have the opportunity to visit again, this is the kind of place you want to bring your special people ❤️ Big Thank you!

True to its name, this place is all about tartare — of seafood, fish, beef, pork, and even dessert. The concept is unique and well executed. I tried 15 courses; all were nicely prepared and tasty. My absolute favorite was a beautifully balanced ceviche of seabass tartare with corn, pickled onion, and citrus sauce. Service was professional and patient, despite one waitress handling all four tables. I spent nearly three hours there and left very happy. They offer a three-course lunch menu too.

It has been my dream to eat here ever since I discovered the place, and it did not disappoint. From the wonderful attention of our server Sandra, to the excitement of discovering each delicious dish, and the lovely chat with the chefs at closing time, it was such a pleasure dining here. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new, and hope to return in the future!

First of all — generally the service isn’t really good in BCN, but the team in here is spectacular. I would like to thank them before I start. I had a flight to catch with limited time and they did their best to accommodate us. And they did an amazing job. If you love raw food, tartar in general — you have to this place. We stick with the smaller option as we had limited time and it was beyond spectacular. There wasn’t a dish I wouldn’t order but of course some are better than the others, which is more than ok. Crab tartare with tobiko, scallop tartar (and I am not a big fan of scallops), smoked beef tartare and Iberian pork (growing up we never ate pork but I tend to distinguish it very easily, not a big fan) — all these plates were spectacular. I will totally come back to La Tartareria in a hear beat. No wonder why you guys had such a good rating on here and added on the Michelin recommendations. Thank you!

Fantastic dining experience at La Tartareria, we thoroughly enjoyed every dish on their dinner menu. The fish tartars are very refreshing, with highly innovative flavors, while the beef tartars shine through the amazing quality and flavor of the meat. Very much worth the price and the recognition from the Michelin guide!

You can feel the passion of chef on every dish. It's definitely a very good meal at a reasonable price. Service is excellent as well. You should add the scarlet shrimp dish for 15 euro. It was good. We had wine paring too.

Although I didn't have a reservation, we were warmly accommodated without any hassle. The atmosphere was inviting, making it an ideal spot for both family celebrations and romantic dates. Now, let's talk about the food. The Tartara left me speechless in the best possible way! The texture and taste were beyond words--a culinary masterpiece that truly tantalized the senses. I highly recommend La Tartareria to anyone looking for an extraordinary gastronomic adventure. Prepare to be amazed by the wonders of Tartara! Five stars for this hidden gem!

Wonderful meal and wonderful time. We did the "experience" menu and it was incredibly unique. Highlights were the sea bass and the calamari with caviar but honestly every course was great. I didn't expect to be as full as I was and I didn't expect for it to be so reasonably priced for the level of intrigue. The use of vegetables and fruit to enhance the beauty of the fish and meats was impressive! the pacing of the meal and service was great as well, Relaxing and not rushed. Will definitely return when we are back in Barcelona!
