"As its name implies, the leitmotiv of this restaurant is tartare, as demonstrated by dishes featuring salmon, tuna, pumpkin etc, along with other dishes that align with its “raw food” philosophy. Two set menus are also available, one of which is a tasting option." - Michelin Inspector

You can feel the passion of chef on every dish. It's definitely a very good meal at a reasonable price. Service is excellent as well. You should add the scarlet shrimp dish for 15 euro. It was good. We had wine paring too.

Quite nice place but in some parts I was confused. Will start with good one. Every dish with raw meat or fish is amazing, personally I would add “a la carte” menu and would eat that big portion of tartar on potato gratin! All ceviches were amazing. The weakest part of desserts, was really plain, some too sweet, no special flavors or even well done classics if compared to tartar desserts would get between 2 and 3.5 out of 5. Bread was good but still some room of improvements. Good thing prices are quite well balanced so cannot complain. The thing that I was confused that when we arrived we didnt receive the menu for like 25 minutes (also while booking I was confused whether they have menu or just experience), and one of our guests couldn’t show up and we were informed in unwelcomed way that we had to say about it earlier (note that we didnt order anything before that). In general, the first 30-40 minutes of our experience felt very slow, unwelcome and tensely though till the end everything was opposite. Music that was playing was little bit off track for the atmosphere.Overall I think that place can be a really great place especially if they add a la carte menu or improve fine dining experience. Visit once - yes, repeat - not sure.

Really amazing concept restaurant in the heart of Barcelona! We had the €75 pp Experience tasting menu: each course was well thought-through and vibrant. Great product, great service by everyone in the team, and a warm space. I would definitely recommend for a special occasion!

I never know raw food can taste so good! Highlight of our trip. Anyone who love to try something different should really get yourself here! Not only Japanese sashimi can be raw, this will change your perspective. Love it! ❤️ 😋

I've been coming to this restaurant for quite a while, since they had delivery and were not a Michelin restaurant. I liked the delivery option, it's a pity it's not available anymore. Also, my favourite tartars are currently out of the menu, scallops with green sauce and I think gambas. I wish i could find a recipe for the ones that are out of the menu. But well, beef is still there and it's great, all other options are delicious too. A little cake de mariscos which goes with shrimp tartar now is nor my favourite though, and potato churros are way too greasy. Otherwise, everything is perfect.

Google
10 courses tasting menu of raw fish and meat, including two desserts. It is definitely a nice experience to try if you enjoy raw food. There were some really nice dishes such as fish with artichoke, fish + mix of tea. Raw tartar was fresh and delicious but the fried potato pancake could be removed from there. The tasting menu is only 55€ so worth trying.

While browsing through the Michelin guide, I came across this restaurant. The churro with meat on top caught my attention. I called and booked for the next day. We came in and were led to our table by the owner. After being sat down, a waiter came to us and gave us the menu. The vibe was a little bit off in the beginning, but after a couple of minutes, it was all good. We picked the classical menu with the (very cheap!) wine pairing. Not to go in depth about the whole menu, but there were some ups and downs. The highlights were the potato churro with beef and the tuna 'ventresca'. The sea bass dish was really good, too. Unlike a lot of Michelin restaurants in Barcelona, the desert was very good. We could not even keep our hands off to take a decent photo. Now the not so good: the wine pairings were overpowering the food, and none of them (with maybe the last one as an exception) were not well picked. So much so that it kind of ruined some dishes with more subtle flavors. I also have some slight criticism on the speed of the servings. All in all, in comparison to all the restaurants in BCN, this place deserves the 4.8 google says it has now. But compared to other restaurants in the Michelin guide, a 4 out of 5 would be more in place.

Yelp
La Tartareria is an absolute delight for anyone seeking a unique dining experience in Barcelona. I had my heart set on trying Tartara, and this place surpassed all expectations! Although I didn't have a reservation, we were warmly accommodated without any hassle. The atmosphere was inviting, making it an ideal spot for both family celebrations and romantic dates. Now, let's talk about the food. The Tartara left me speechless in the best possible way! The texture and taste were beyond words--a culinary masterpiece that truly tantalized the senses. I highly recommend La Tartareria to anyone looking for an extraordinary gastronomic adventure. Prepare to be amazed by the wonders of Tartara! Five stars for this hidden gem!

Yelp
Wonderful meal and wonderful time. We did the "experience" menu and it was incredibly unique. Highlights were the sea bass and the calamari with caviar but honestly every course was great. I didn't expect to be as full as I was and I didn't expect for it to be so reasonably priced for the level of intrigue. The use of vegetables and fruit to enhance the beauty of the fish and meats was impressive! the pacing of the meal and service was great as well, Relaxing and not rushed. Will definitely return when we are back in Barcelona!

Yelp
Had the classic tasting menu - every dish was fantastic. It was plenty of food. The waiter and waitress did an excellent job explaining each dish in English.
