"Run by the Guggenbuhl family since 1964, this salmon-pink-fronted tavern has earned its reputation. Even those who know nothing about Alsace cuisine are smitten by the enticing regional dishes, washed down by fine wines from near and far! The fillet of zander, sautéed sauerkraut and Riesling sauce we sampled lingers with us still." - Michelin Inspector
Charming, traditional restaurant serving regional food. We lived it and were glad we opted for seasonal asparagus. Amazingly busy at noon on a wet Monday.

It's not often that I give that many stars
The food was amazing (except for the meat a tad cold on the sauerkraut)
The waiter's were friendly without being too invasive and I highly recommend the blueberries pies!
Make sure to book by phone before your visit as it is always full.

Excellent restaurant with traditional Alsatian food: spaetzle maison, tarte myrtille, etc. Great for all the family

Were looking out for typical local restaurant and drove past this place. Stopped immediately and returned. Fully booked! So had to wait a few minutes. Food was amazing. With the Quiche as a starter and the choucroute royal… delicious! But even for two people the choucroute was more than enough. Lucky having found this place and will return here even it’s far away…… but it’s worth for the food!

Don't get tricked by the specialities, there are also other tasty dishes. But I had the speciality!

Classical well located place that draws the tourists in because it seems super traditional. 'Traditional' on the eye, but its all potato based dishes that lack flavour and seasoning. Overpriced, lacks quality and imagination. Our worst eating experience during our 2 week holiday in this region.
