Everything was phenomenal. We had the antipasto and calamarata with fresh truffle. Loved every bite!! If you have the chance, stop by for dinner. It is worth noting that it is a bit on the pricey side. But totally worth it.

I visited recently and was lucky enough to be able to try the tasting menu with wine pairings which was without a doubt one of the best dining experiences of my life. The evening started out with a traditional Italian Aperol Spritz and ended with a glass of top-shelf whisky, which felt like the perfect bookends to an unforgettable meal. The tasting menu itself was a masterclass in flavour, balance, and creativity. Each dish was paired with wines that didn’t just complement, but elevated the food — clearly chosen with real care and expertise by José María and Sabrina. I’ve been fortunate enough to dine at different 2 and 3* Michelin restaurants around the world, and I can honestly say the cooking at La Tavernetta is right up there with the very best. Beyond the food and drink, the service was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Every detail felt considered, yet relaxed — exactly what fine dining should be. The restaurant interior is tastefully decorated with a cozy, welcoming feel. The tables are decorated beautifully with nice little touches for the tableware, cutlery and plates, and everywhere including the restrooms felt immaculately clean. If you’re passionate about food and wine, La Tavernetta is a destination in its own right. Truly exceptional, you won't be disappointed.

Very very good. Probably one of the best I've had. Recommend stopping there. You might have to reserve to get a spot. If you do reserve you might get a chance to be beside the river with a nice view. We didn't get that privilege 😔 but the experience was nice though. Be prepared to pay more than a standard IT restaurant

We will come back here again and again I have no doubt. The food was amazing. The chefs came out to chat with us about what they were making. The table staff were attentive but not overly intrusive. The table we had was inside but overlooked the river. But the food. It was fantastic. Seafood pasta. Pasta with a Bolognese sauce. Pizza. Oh my goodness the pizza. Each quarter with a different topping. Brilliant. Just a wonderful experience.

Jose and Sabrina have transformed their “nice restaurant with great food” into a #Michelinrated culinary experience of wonder and delight. Everything from their helpful, smiling wait staff, to their award-winning food, to their endless wine list, to their views of the river, you will want to visit again and again!

One of the best restaurant in Galicia. Me and my girlfriend have spent here one of the 2 best food experience in 3 weeks all around galicia. It definetely worth a deviation to stop and eat something cook by wonderful Sabrina and served by Jorge. A special mention to the wine list, Jorge did an impressive job about it. Everything awesome.

Excellent authentic Italian food lovingly prepared by hosts Sabrina and Jose. It is a vinoteca as well as a restaurant so there are a huge choice of wines. Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed!
