La Tazza Review - Paddington - London - The Infatuation

"La Tazza is a no-nonsense all-day cafe on Praed Street where there are always a couple of builders wearing high-vis vests sat outside, and a bunch more digging into a serious-looking full English inside the basic, canteen-like room. It’s a dependable spot for a quick, satisfying lunch, where the salads are decorated with a smiley face using olives and cucumbers, and the football is often on the big screen. If you're hungry, get the hefty tuna and pepper-filled panini. It tastes homemade and is so filling you probably won’t finish the salad on the side. The long menu is also filled with stock images of penne arrabbiata and steak although we’ve never seen anyone order any of that. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Rianne Shlebak

Super Impressed! This spot has been on my "saved to go" list for awhile now and so glad we got to try it out this past weekend. I ordered the BLT ( added avocado) and wow.... just amazing.. fresh & delicious.. I ate the entire sandwich. And their fries are fireeee. I also appreciated how well they packaged our food. The fries were still nice and crispy and seasoned to perfection and I do not say this alot! thank you!!

La Tazza is a hidden gem of Waterbury that I only recently heard about, and I’m so glad my husband and I stopped in for a late breakfast this past Sunday. It’s clear that this is a spot where many neighborhood regulars come to hang out, and it’s easy to see why. We loved their sandwiches on bread from Arthur Ave, as well as the delicious porchetta. My personal favorite was the weekend brunch board, and leave it to Town Plot to include panettone and La Molisana sausage on it! We also enjoyed their cortado and hot chocolate. Having gone to school for years in this area, La Tazza felt like a piece of home, and the owner, Jay, was very friendly and welcoming. We look forward to visiting again soon!

This quaint coffee shop made me feel like home hundreds of miles away. Owners and staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. I can see why so there were so many regulars dropping in. In addition, the coffee and veggie wrap were great! Will definitely stop by again if I’m in the area.

The absolute best espresso in Waterbury! If not in CT. Also had the yummiest grilled sandwich with truffle cheese, prosciutto and fig jam! A must if you visit

A real Italian coffee in the United States! And they even had sfogliatelle! What an amazing experience! Chatted a bit with the owner after a gorgeous breakfast with proper cappuccino, sfogliatelle and the best Italian/ US breakfast sandwich you will ever have in your life! I did not ask for your name, but your coffee bar is the best! Thank you for the primitivo! My dad and I are grateful beyond words and enjoyed it very much!

This is a small cozy spot next to rite aid. There is not a lot of options on the menu, you can get drinks here. I got the egg and cheese with chicken sausage on ciabatta bread with a small caramel latte it cost me $13 I didn't think it was worth it.

Yelp
Charming little cafe. I was visiting the area last month and had a craving for a good coffee and stumbled upon this place. It reminded me a bit of the bars you might see around southern Italy where they offer espresso and a small menu of food along with wine and spirits. It has a local, unpretentious feel to it and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast sandwich I had with eggs, cheese and prosciutto was delicious and made fresh and the cappuccino was fantastic.

Yelp
What refreshing little neighborhood cafe! It's nothing fancy and exactly what you want a free morning close to home. I didn't delve into the menu but trusted a friend who goes often and I wasn't disappointed! We shared the breakfast charcuterie board featuring Pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, Italian smoked sausage, cheese, tater tots and fried eggs. Add a couple of Americanos and we were set for a couple hours of great food and conversation. Have it there or get something to go and you'll get your day started right.

Yelp
Beautiful cappuccino and sandwiches made to order -- they listen to what you want and accommodate. Really nice spot in Town Plot.

Yelp
The breakfast and lunch sandwiches are always on point. However, the consistency of their various coffee offerings have not been as reliable of late. I'm hoping it's just a learning curve with some of the newer baristas. It's all about the right flavor and consistency! For this reason I'm knocking the rating down a bit from 5 to 4.

Yelp
The best porchetta sandwich on the PLANET, hands down. Meatball sandwich is also a killer. Their coffee is tremendous. Highly recommend this cafe
