The food and service were good. The mild is pretty spicy so keep that in mind when ordering. The thing I really liked is that you can create your own dish. They give you a paper and you fill out what protein, vegetables, and spices to have in your dish. I wish they had an option for brown rice but they do not. Overall I would definitely recommend it.

Google
Took the family here for dinner. The place looks very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and nice too. We had the pad thai noodles, pad see ew noodles, fried rice and catfish curry. All were on point and delicious!! We also had the crispy rolls and chicken wings as appetizers. Also very delicious!! Definitely coming back!!

Google
My regular Thai place closed so I found this one. One of the new places that offers Peanut Curry and has indoor seating as you wait. Ordered Peanut Curry with chicken (heat level 3) Drunken Noodles with shrimp (heat level 2), rolls and chicken. Everything came under $40. Impressive. Heat level 3 wasn't hot enough for my partner, next time

Google
This is a great local Thai spot. They offer a number of corporate discounts for local employers. I have been here a number of times. The food is very good. I have tried a number of dishes, but my favorite is Pad Thai. They have a wide selection on the menu and the prices are reasonable. At lunchtime during the week the parking lot can get a little crazy, but there are other spots if you don't mind a short walk. Enjoy!

Google
This is a bad restaurant. Just ordered the one of the noodle dish displayed on the counter (which looked good), and what I got is a totally different dish (which doesn't even look and taste good), see photos. Asked the cashier why there is such a huge difference between what's advertised and what's served, reply: it's just what it is, it's just this way. Have never felt being cheated like this before. Will not go again.

Google
I love the create your own option! Super tasty and fresh. Food comes out within 5 minutes during lunch time! Try their pineapple with cashews and chicken inside turmeric fried rice. The interior is fresh and clean. Will definitely go back and try other menu items.

Google
A favorite place to go for Thai, and relatively new to the area. Online ordering is easy and they can customize your dish pretty much any way you want. I love that they have vegan/vegetarian options. A bit of a warning (using a good thing...) they are very fast putting the order together. Even if requesting a later pickup time through their online ordering (they use ToastTab), they tend to start working on it right away. They are done in 10 minutes or less most times! If you want to have it delayed, call in your order and request.

Google
Love the food is good but the previews went up and the portions went down I usually get a full bowl now it’s half and below even the extra sauce I paid 2$ for not even a half of cup of sauce Omg have them another chance and I’m trying to figure out if someone was mad or not about asking for extra sauce so my noodles won’t get sick Together the young lady got smart they have bad attitudes and told me it will be a extra charge so I told her why do I have to pay extra because I don’t want to fight with my noodles and did she get mad and now my noodles are so hot 🥵 I can’t even eat them my lips are hurting tounge is burnt is throat she definitely did this on purpose my stomach started hurting immediately as son as I started eating I will be speaking to a manger tomorrow all those red dots are very very hot peppers be were 😡

Yelp
A disappointing experience. Ambiance - Empty restaurant on a Wednesday at dinner time. Uncluttered, but not necessarily super clean or inviting. They were playing these sad and drawn out country music ballands that felt a little bizarre, but no big deal. You can dine in, but it's not table service, other than them bringing your food out initially. Food - Metro Detroit has pretty standard Thai food restaurants across the board so price/flavor/quality/etc is similar at the best of the best all throughout Wayne County. I would consider Bangkok 96, SHINthai, Thai Vylai to be comparables. Unfortunately, La Thai Cuisine was nowhere near them for various reasons. For one, there was less protein (chicken) in the dinner, about half the amount other restaurants would give. The Tom Yum soup was nothing like a Tom Yum I've had anywhere else in and out of state. The color was much darker than I've ever seen and it tasted like they dumped a lot of chili powder in it. Did not finish. The tiny shrimp in it was off too. The worse part though was that the eggplant in the Gang Ped dinner had gone bad. The flesh was dark brown and had a strange texture and bad taste. It had to be noticeable and shouldn't have gone out to a customer. Service - It was clear that the woman working the counter was either new or maybe a relative just filling in for the night. Some basic questions had her disappearing to the back for answers. "Are the chicken wings breaded?", "Do you have wifi?" both got "let me check". (They do not have wifi, btw.) Anyways...I had tried to eat some of that eggplant thinking maybe the color was an exotic eggplant I hadn't tried before.. lol...it wasn't. Before leaving, I took my picked-over plates to the counter to clear my table and let the woman at the counter know that the eggplant had gone bad. She says, "I'll let them know." and disappears to the back. When she came back, she said nothing to me...no apology or offer to make things right, not even "have a nice night!" It was just weird. I was there for just under a hour and maybe two other people came in during that time to pick up orders.

Yelp
Disgusting food. They will burn your food then add a bunch of sauce to try to make it look presentable. I mean, they fried my rice to HELL. I will never eat from this place again

Michael T.

Yelp
Well, after four excellent visits we took our 10 year old granddaughter in for a meal. She wasn't a fan of the Pad Thai so we tried to order her some plain noodles. Much to our surprise they said we could only get plain noodles as a side to another dinner. So it cost us another $20 to get her some noodles. The moral is they are not kid friendly.

Madison D.

Yelp
I enjoyed this food. :) I stopped in between running errands to get Pad Thai (N1) & crab rangoons. I got medium + for the spice level and it definitely was hot enough for myself (who loves spicy foods)! The crab rangoons were very good. The pad Thai could of used a bit more flavor but it was still good & the portion size was great. The staff was very friendly as well & food was quick and hot.

Yelp
Just moved to the east side of Dearborn and did not feel like driving over to my normal spot B96. They did not have my usual go to Panang Curry so I got the Gang Ped with chicken. It is similar but better than Panang as it has more than just peppers. Super nice service and a nice space. I'll be going back for sure!

Adrienne A.

Yelp
Mmm...finally a Thai restaurant in Dearborn with fantastic fried rice. I will definitely be coming back for the pineapple fried rice, which was sweet and spicy and simply delish. I've also tried the tom ka soup, the pad thai and the drunken noodles. All of those were ok, but couldn't hold a candle to the fried rice. Warning - do not get the soup to go... the containers melted in the ten minute drive home with hot soup spilling out. Service was friendly if a bit slow for the orders. In particular, the spring roll we ordered didn't show up until after we were through with the rest of the meal.

Karim J.

Yelp
My wife was feeling Thai takeout yesterday. So on her way back we she picked a few items for dinner. I really enjoyed this place when it first opened, but wanted to revisit. Overall we did enjoy our meal, but I could tell the quality of the food has dipped over the last several months. The chicken satay skewers were dry, but the peanut sauce saved it. The Thai curry noodle was very good and the spice was perfect, but the pineapple fried rice was kinda bland. The fried spring rolls were also very good, but we encountered the same issue as the satay where the chicken was a little dry. It was definitely satisfying food, but not to the same standards as the first few times we ate from here.

Yelp
Food waste great when i ate it. Spicy delicious.... Afterwards tho...FOOD POISONING! I spent the last two days throwing up and shitting at the same time. My ass still hurts on day 3

Robert S.

Yelp
Great food. Well prepared with a good portion provided. You can get it mild or smoking hot! You choose. This is a must if your in Dearborn MI!!

Vanessa M.

Yelp
Nice relaxing atmosphere and the service is quick and polite. They have been opened for two weeks. They do not have WiFi for customers but plan to have it soon. I tried the spring roll for 1.25 and it was a 7.5/10. The sweet and sour/ duck sauce is fresh and well prepared. The Thai tea is pretty good. 9/10 The chicken pad Thai runs spicy so be careful with that. I got the mild plus and it had some kick but it was tasty. Alittle above average for the surrounding city. 8.5/10 They gave me a discount so that was nice. The restrooms are clean. The decor is welcoming and the music is not too loud. I would come back but it's not a place I would take outsiders to show them the best Michigan has to offer

Brittany A.

Yelp
A group of 3 of us went out for lunch and this place was perfect! The service was great and the food came out quick. We got peanut curry, Bangkok chicken, crab Rangoon, and Tom yum soup. The prices can't be beat for good Thai.

Amelia B.

Yelp
This is where i wish Yelp had half stars. This is like a 3.5 stars. It is a new Thai place in the strip mall. Its small, modern, fbtehquaint and clean. We got carry out. Service was fast and efficient, we were able to order from the digital menu board above the cashier stand. It appears like this is a order at the register and go sit down type of place. Prices were reasonable, and pretty standard for the area. Menu had a good selection and variety from Currys to noodles and even Pho. They have your standard Chicken, Beef, Shrimp, Tofu choices. We each ordered single Spring Rolls that are priced at 1.25. I ordered Tofu Drunken Noodles and My Date ordered Shrimp Pad Thai. I also ordered an Thai Iced tea because i feel like that is the mark of a true Thai place. The cashier tried a valient effort to make us buy 2 Tea's almost to the point where it was bothersome. She kept saying "you sure?, your gonna wish you had 2". This kind of marked them down because it impacted my experience. The Tea was horrible. It was watered down, thin and tasteless, I have had better Thai Tea from a package that i bought at 168 Asian Mart. Another negative. The food was DECENT. I'm not sure how the Pad Thai and The Drunken Noodles tasted like the same dish but with different noodles. Shrug. The takeout containers were the little small black polastic ones with the clear lids that are super nice to reuse? Except they only hold half of what you normally er get from a Thai place.

Ken H.

Yelp
I had Gang Ped (E2) with shrimp and it was delicious. So full of flavor. The service was excellent. The staff very friendly.

Eric S.

Yelp
I was in the area with a friend when I was craving some Thai Food and decided to give this place a try. I was really impressed by the cleanliness and the interior decor. The wallpaper is really cool. I ordered the drunken noodle and my friend ordered the pad seew. The food came out quickly, was full of flavor and tasted very authentic . I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and looking for a quick thai food fix.

Mishe J.

Yelp
It was ok. I had one of the curry dishes. E3 is all I remember. There wasn't much flavor. It was spicy I could tell it was hot but I couldn't taste the Thai spices I'm use to. It was bland with heat. Not much chicken, I'm not a meat person but there wasn't much chicken. Plenty of celery and carrots. I did pay a little more than I would and it was kind of a miss. Had a spring roll (shug) it was ok... The Thai ice tea was very good but very sweet. It's more like a dessert probably under the dessert sections I picked. The tea was very good.

Lin L.

Yelp
Ordered the pad Thai curry with extra tofu and added vegetables. The dish was just ok. Soupy and oily, one slice of carrot, one red pepper two baby corn, some green onion. The extra tofu was not there, no bean sprouts. Very oily bland dish. We also ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. This dish was better but soaked in oil. I keep wanting to love this as much as Bangkok 96 but that isn't going to happen.

Janet M.

Yelp
Solid Thai lunch option for the area. Their spice levels are up there so be careful which level you order. I've had the Thai noodle soup & the basil fried rice. Both were good enough to order again. I did taste some of the pineapple fried rice & would not recommend it. Spring roll was nice and crisp. And I appreciated that the dipping sauce tasted fresh & not corn syrupy. Another plus for this place is that their sauces aren't soaking with SUGAR -- my #1 annoyance with most Thai places (I'm looking at you Thai Vylai). While this may be off putting for some, I am relieved to not walk away with diabetes at the end of a meal. There was a longer wait on Friday's but that's to be expected. When we ordered online, the food was ready in 10 min. So go with pick up if you're short on time. Will update as I try more of their offerings.

Loni K.

Yelp
I love how this restaurant caters to a variety of tastes for Thai-food lovers. Would highly recommend!

Mahindi M.

Yelp
I ordered two dishes, a ginger dish and a curry pad thai. Both were the most disappointing dishes I've ever ordered from any restaurant! The noodles were over cooked and the whole meal was bland! The ginger dish was equally disappointing, tasteless and boring! I don't even care that they forgot to add the crushed peanuts on the side to my order as I asked. The food was unthinkably lousy...worse Thai food I've ever had in my life!!!!

Vinay P.

Yelp
Food is good but Soup is not so good No vegetables or meat Just thin colored coconut milk. Great service.

Lillie B.

Yelp
The food is amazingggg everything that I have tried so far has given me foodgasms lol. The cooks are really fast and the servers are always super nice no matter how many times I've come in. I recommend the Bangkok Chicken, Pad Peanut Curry or Crab Rangoons. I would say the whole menu but I haven't made it that far lol but it's worth trying. You'll be addicted.

Mohamad H.

Yelp
The food looks really good and the place is clean and the staff is nice.....but the main/important part of every restaurant experience is the food, and this food was absolutely terrible. I tried this place out when they first opened up a few years ago, the food was terrible, but I thought it was because they were new. Gave them another try and they've gotten worse! All I ordered was steamed veggies with fried tofu, rice noodles and sweet and sour sauce and i got food poisoning! I will never wish this place on my worst enemy!

Amber B.

Yelp
This place use to be so good when they first opened! Now every time I order the food is all dried up, nothing but Spices thrown over the food, crab Rangoon was just cream cheese, only thing ever good every time is the spring rolls!

Avalene D.

Yelp
This place has some of the best Thai I have ever had, highly recommended and prices are good as well, been using Door Dash and delivery is fast..

Juliana A.

Yelp
Your food is disgusting the E12 is absolutely horrible. Tastes like your eating pure salt $29 for food that was waste of my money.

herm 7.

Yelp
On 12/8/21, I Accidentally ordered from this place instead of my usual Thai restaurant but decided to go with it anyways. It was bad. First they said it would be ready in ten minutes, I went to the place I originally thought I ordered from and realized I had ordered from the wrong restaurant so I ended up getting there 25 minutes after I should have and it was still not ready. I really don't mind a wait and have total respect for restaurant employees but I got home and it was very a disappointing meal. Seems like the McDonald's of Thai. The spring roll was ok. Sorry but I would skip on this place :(

Lindsay T.

Yelp
My coworkers and I have ordered from here at least 4 times. I always get the pad thai sauce and each time it looks and tastes different. We always ask for peanuts and never get them. Today I checked my order and of course no peanuts. The girl behind the counter was rude when I brought it to her attention. It was like I asked her to replace my entire order.

Nick G.

Yelp
Went for lunch with some coworkers. Food was delicious! Will definitely go back. Pho broth is great too!

Gary L.

Yelp
Food wasn't that great and it was overpriced for lunch. I will be going back to Thai Vylai for all my Thai needs. I got the FR1 that didn't have great flavor and also got the A2 which wasn't great at all.

Ashia D.

Yelp
I actually love this place! Pad Thai curry is a great choice for when you are in the mood for both yellow curry and pad thai. The spring rolls and gang gai are also very good. A cheap place with good service and even better food.

Diana K.

Yelp
Excited there's more Thai options in the area! Nice clean atmosphere, friendly service, and pretty good food. I appreciated that it's not as greasy as other places in the area and they did not skimp on ingredients. Some items could use a bit of tweaking flavor-wise but we were happy overall. Ordered Gang gai which was tasty but wish it had a bit more coconut milk/sweetness in the red curry sauce but it was still better than others around town; got the pad Thai which can vary greatly from restaurant to restaurant and the one here is good but be aware that it is tamarind based so depends on if you like tamarind; got chicken satay which was delicious and spring rolls which were great too. Thai tea was good but a bit on the mild side. I'm used to a stronger brewed tea. We will be back to try more!

Vijay P.

Yelp
This place is complete trash. Zero effort. Our chicken and rice tasted like it was boiled with chili powder added. Worst Thai food ever took 2 bites and trashed it

Joy G.

Yelp
Prior to La Thai opening, I had to drive out to get some good Thai food. This is now my go-to for Thai food whenever I'm in the Detroit/Dearborn area! They're a counter-serve style restaurant with a simple, yet wide-range menu items to offer. If going during lunch hours on the weekday, you might need to get carry-our since they can get pretty busy, although you can usually find a table during dinner time. I got the Thai Fried Rice (FR2) with chicken and the Crab Rangoon; would order again!

Syeda M.

Yelp
Tried a lot of items from the menu, wanted to give them a shot. Sorry to say this place does not deserve a 3 star. Gave them 2 stars because they are new. Our orders came out wrong. Some had to be cancelled. They do have halal options although when I see pork in the menu, I am resistant to think that it is halal. Anyways good lucj

Hailee B.

Yelp
Also ordered the E3 Pad Pak Curry and N1 Pad Thai (not pictured) that were both really good. Everything seasoned really well. Ordered delivery the first time from grubhub and it was great so we decided to go in to eat next time. Food came out pretty quickly and hot. They have a little area with different sauces (hoisin, chili paste, etc.) and I actually preferred to order mine with no spice and stir in some of the chili paste instead. My only complaint is how spicy even the mild+ is but it was so good I didn't care!

Robert H.

Yelp
I agree with Amelia - wish I could give 3 and a half stars, but I simply can't give 4. The food was okay. It didn't have that freshness that Thai food normally has. Dipping sauces, Thai tea and soups were thin, but sauce on the food was overly thick. Proteins were anything but generous, such as Pad Thai with only 6 shrimp in a dinner portion. That's a lunch portion, at best. According to the menu, one more shrimp qualifies as "extra" - for $1. That works out to approximately $30/lb! Given how long they have been open, however, I will try again in a couple of months.

Moody A.

Yelp
The Thai food here is not bad, especially the crispy chicken rolls. Everything is fresh, made to order. As long as the restaurant cooks everything fresh they will never go wrong. The Pad Pak curry and peanut curry with fried tofu is amazing. I have gone here 5 times since they opened and the food is great. I only wish that if they are offering Halal meat, then they should not be offering pork. It's negates offering Halal. Nevertheless, the food is great.

Krithiknath T.

Yelp
I had the panang curry here and it was really tasty! It was also pretty cheap and the food came quickly. This is a great cozy little spot for a casual lunch or dinner. Its not too fancy but not too bare bones.

Mariah A.

Yelp
I ordered on doordash and in less than 10min the driver was on the way. While I appreciate quick deliveries, that didn't sound too promising. But the food arrived steaming hot and tasting fresh. They have halal meats, which is awesome. I got the pad Thai curry noodle, gang garee, and a spring roll. Everything was great. Portions are good and prices are reasonable. They even let you sub the plain white rice w fried rice. Overall very good and will definitely order again!

Erica C.

Yelp
Wow. This was just awful. I got the pad Thai, pad Kraprow, and crab Rangoon. The Rangoon can't possibly have crab in it, 100% cream cheese. And the pad Thai was the worst I've ever had, i couldn't figure out what it did taste like, almost vaguely like... ketchup?? I was so disappointed.

Li Z.

Yelp
This is a bad restaurant. Just ordered the one of the noodle dish displayed on the counter (which looked good), and what I got is a totally different dish (which doesn't even look and taste good), see photos. Asked the cashier why there is such a huge difference between what's advertised and what's served, reply: it's just what it is, it's just this way. Have never felt being cheated like this before. Will not go again.

Nour M.

Yelp
1 Star for the food. The setting is nice, but the food does not suite the setting. It was nothing like the Thai I expected. It almost didn't even taste right.

K P.

Yelp
Counter employees should either be trained properly in customer service or be fired. On the other hand, the food is decent (but not great- too much sodium) so I didn't feel bad giving a tip, in hopes the cooks will get their fair share (the front counter employees deserve NOTHING). And why is there no brown rice? This place needs to either shape up or just close. Until it does, do yourself a favor and go to Lue Thai, Thai Villai, or Bangkok 96. Dearborn is full of great options, so you should not have to spend your money at a place that doesn't care about quality and service, when so many others do.

Steve C.

Yelp
Don't eat here. They have made my orders wrong almost every time. The last time and it will be the last time, trust me, they took forever to take my order. They kept repeating my order and each time it was wrong. Finally they repeated what what I ordered correctly but when my food came out it was wrong. I told the owner that I was going to eat some place else and asked for a refund since they could not get the order right. The owner refused to refund my money so I ended up leaving without food and without my money. They stole $24.00 from me. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Alex A.

Yelp
I ordered the curry pad thai and it was very overdone and mushy. I also order crab rangoons and they were just cream cheese and very gross

Richard C.

Yelp
The house special noodles is just rahman noodles right out of the 10 cent package. Some meat and very little vegetables. VERY SALTY!!! I would guess the container cost more than the food. Never going back...

Choti O.

Yelp
So delicious. I'm so glad there's another decent Thai place in Dearborn. Very spacious, quick and friendly service. Great customer service. I usually get hot but this place is pretty spicy so I would stick with medium and maybe add more if needed, the medium is definitely on the hotter side. Offering Ford discount and Serving halal as well, catering to the community which is awesome!

Rose G.

Yelp
This is my favorite spot to go on my lunch break.!! I had the Chicken and Shrimp fried rice Medium and an order of crab ragoons My mouth is watering just thinking about it Haha But if you're into spicy food try this place out for sure. Best Thai food I've had so far

Everything With G.

Yelp
This is the Panda Express to real Chinese food. Since it was a new spot, I decided to give it a try. Clean restaurant and the food was done quickly however the taste of the food didn't match the smell. While the smell was divine, the taste was definitely subpar. I tried the house special fried rice which lacked flavor and i also tried the house special noodles which just tasted like salt. If anything, their spice levels are true to description. If you want some truly authentic Thai food, drive some miles to Bangkok 96 in Dearborn. Same price, more food, better taste!
