"For quintessential, Miami-inspired products, you have to go to La Tiendita by Martha of Miami. You’ll find cool t-shirts with Cuban/Miamian slogans. They have something for everyone."

What a great way to experience our culture... enjoyed the traditional items and shopping for shirts to showcase the traditions and so many items that showcase our heritage. The store was set up very cute with items that captured so many things we’ve grown up with... the santos and cafeteras made me giggle. Favorite bonus Cafecito treats...cookie containers added the Abuelo factor. So many traditions and memories the PIN PAN PUN brought back memories of family vacations, when we had 12 of us in a room that only fitted 4. Thank you for having the insight to help the new generation of cubanitos keep the heritage going.

Google
Love, love, love this store!! Great atmosphere and the clothing and accessories are one of a kind. The store gave me intense childhood nostalgia of my days in Hialeah. I appreciated the details in their decor such as the bedazzled Fabuloso, the golden viejita chancleta, and their family pictures made it feel very homey. Their shirts have the funniest cuban slogans. I was ready to buy them all! I specifically went for the Cuban bred shirt, but given the recent events they were selling like crazy and didn't have my size. Can't wait to go back and get more.

Google
Rude owner and extremely unprofessional. I have always been a fan of this shop and it is heartbreaking to write this. I tried contacting them regarding an order and they did not answer so I contacted them on IG. It was really no big deal. It seems there was a delay but I did not know and I was trying to put together something for my mom and grandma. There are a lot of personal things people are doing and going through and there are reasons they do things and ask questions. I wasn't asking to be difficult and I know small businesses can sometimes work a little slower so I tried to order with ample time. It is simply frustrating when you are trying to contact someone and they insinuate you are lying. I am surprised at their customer service and that they answer customers in a rude manner even when they are the ones delayed and at fault. They then proceeded to cancel my order and block me. I also have receipts if needed. I had never had this experience before and I am so sad this happened as I really liked this shop.

Google
Drove to the store and I was looking forward to buying several t-shirts; however, the owner or whomever was at the store was super rude - zero personality. I was in search of a specific t-shirt needed for an event and she offered no help at all. Didn’t speak. Nothing. As a person who supports small businesses and women at that, I’m disappointed in the lack of help offered today and attitude - very standoffish. Won’t be going back. I think you should be a little more helpful and friendly to customers who walk in.

Absolutely loved the store! Martha was there and so sweet <3 I recommend anyone near the Miami area to check the store out.

Love it! Owner offered cafe. Great service! Quality products! My son needed a shirt to represent heritage day at school and this place is perfect. I’ll definitely be going back!

Google
This store reeks of Cuban culture! The owner, Martha, is engaging, extremely helpful and makes you feel as if you've known each other for years. I am a loyal customer for as long as she and La Tiendecita are around. Great job!

Google
The best little shop in Miami!! Martha was there herself and greeted every customer. The girl she had working in the front was amazing as well but I didn’t grab her name. I took my cat in with me and she offered to hold her while I shopped around. Love this place so glad it opened!

Yelp
First of all, the store is cute. I like all the Cuban/Latin tchotchkes. But if you buy online prepare to wait over a month for your order and also never get a call back nor a response to your various emails for status of your order. It is unfortunate that they have horrible customer service.

Yelp
I've been a lover of Martha of Miami merchandise since I first discovered them at Croquetapalooza several years back. I was ecstatic to find out that what began a small endeavor has turned into a live one-stop shop. Seriously speaking, Martha managed to get into a niche that no one really knew was needed until it was. I mean, come on now, who doesn't love her stuff? It's a plethora of products all distinctly unique and so utterly Cuban. Throughout the years, I've gotten a shirt or two at events from her, but now I can say I checked out the actual shop and it's so quirky. I love it. T-shirts, mugs, pins, random trinkets that all change with the season. So original! And can we say easy to get her items regardless of location? She ships via USPS, although I did originally go for pick-up for my first of two online orders. See, it began like this. I started my Christmas shopping. I found an espresso set that I thought was totally Miami and a perfect gift. I had moved up to Pembroke Pines a few months back, and well, I didn't feel like paying shipping and was going to be in the area anyway. Ended up picking up the espresso set and saw more of the shop, and made a purchase online later that day. This time for a Christmas caja china that counts down 'till Noche Buena. For the second order I did shipping because I was going to be out of town and just figured it would be easier. Turned out I was right as it came and my neighbor took care of it for me while I was gone. Loved the care they put into the packaging, both in and out of the store. You can tell that each package is sent out with some tender-loving care. Will continue to support them wholeheartedly, especially seeing as this slowly and surely is becoming a shop synonymous of all things Miami.

Yelp
Oh my gosh the items this website offers are amazing. Let me just say if you are looking for unique clothing with Latin or Cuban phrases look no more. The quality is great and size charts are spot on. All the pieces I purchased are cotton and preshrunk. Fabric is so soft but not cheap of good quality and very well made. The response time is fast and friendly. I've received so many compliments on my T-shirts.

Yelp
Croquetica speaking... When I first heard about La Tiendecita being an actual thing...I was like..Bro, that's so Miami. I've been following their online store for a while but it was the brick & mortar shop for me that really sold me on the hype. I mean, I'm typing this review as I wear my "mal de ojo" mask I purchased at the shop. All around the store, you'll find clothing and accessories that have MiamiCuban references printed on it. I love the cafecito pins placed in the blue tins your abuela used for for sewing kit. It's really amps up your Miami pride & offers a safe space for us to release our inner perreo in a cathartic manner. Im always on the lookout for new apparel and items. It's the perfect shop for us Miamians to showcase our pride.

Yelp
I have loved "La Tiendecita" since its virtual store days and I continue to love and support them now..! Their love for the (305) is unquestionable and their support for our community is not only appreciated but incredibly welcomed during these uncertain times. The face masks they have made are not only funny but very "305 Chic". There isn't a time that my mask doesn't get a chuckle, a double take or the best part, "I want one...!". I purchased 6 "Tapate la boca" masks; and at the time, six were donated to the health care professionals. Not only was I keeping my family safe but I was helping my community with the help from La Tiendecita which I was grateful for. Thank you Martha of Miami for your creativity and your love for our community...! We love you back...!

Yelp
Martha of Miami has the best Cuban inspired products. Moving away from Miami to Orlando has left a tiny hole in my heart. So I started shopping online for my Cuban products to fill that void. Now I'm even more excited to visit Miami because Martha of Miami opened up a storefront just 10 minutes from my parents house. The store is everything miami is. I love how it describes Cuban Miami perfectly all the way to the domino ceiling. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
There's just something about Martha of Miami that makes you want to shout from the rooftops that you're Miami AF. I have been a fan of Martha of Miami for a while now, and I was so excited to hear that she opened up a store! Her merchandise is made for the people of Miami and she is able to really celebrate Miami pride with her designs. Located in a strip mall on Bird road, La Tiendecita brings the whole brand to life. There are danish cookie tins filled with pins, succulents in iron beer cans, cafeteras galore, dominos on the ceiling and vibrant colors that remind me of a batido de mamey. Everything is purposeful and everything is just so incredibly Miami. From shirts to bathing suits, socks and stickers - you're sure to find something you love here. Also shout out to Martha because the material of her shirts is so freaking soft! I love them. Welcome to Westchester, La Tiendecita. We needed you!

Yelp
Walking into this store is a true testament to our strong Cuban AND Westchester roots. Felicidades Martha! Truly proud of your contribution to our neighborhood, community, and world at large. I love gifting your goods!

Mercy V.

Yelp
Great friendly place to shop at with no pressure. You are encouraged to browse plus they serve Cuban coffee while you're looking. Win win! Love this place for their merchandise and the customer service is great!

Yelp
Am I an honorary Cuban after spending 12 years in Miami? I know probably not, but dang, I definitely feel like I get a little more Cuban entering La Tiendecita. I've been following Martha Of Miami for quite awhile and love the fact she opened up her very own brick and mortar shop. No more do you have to chase down pop-ups or order online; instead, you can see the merch up close and personal all day, everyday (well except Mondays when she's closed). I popped in searching for a little taste of Miami to send to some colleagues around the country. I walked away with the 305 ticket pins which were oh so cute. T-shirts, phone cases, stickers, socks, towels... They really have a little something for everyone. Not everything will make sense to outsiders, but again, I'm not made in Dade and still get a kick out of so many of these products. All in all, La Tiendecita is definitely worth a stop whether you want some Miami AF apparel for yourself or are searching for unique gifts! There's parking as part of the stripmall that houses the shop and it was a tight squeeze, but I managed to snag a spot.

Yelp
A testament of what you can do when you put your mind to it. This girl went from Instagram to making her own shirts on her own to owning a shop. Being a Cuban-American myself I can only describe walking into this shop as proud. The place is so cute. Very Miami. Something for everyone no matter what age or sex. The shirts are nice material and have super cute sayings. Needless to say I went crazy. They have pins too which I love to put on jackets and stuff. When I was here there was an older lady loving all the clothes loudly which can only add to the vibes of this store. I'll see how the clothes stand against the washing machine but other than that this place should be a staple in Miami everyone should visit and leave with a t-shirt.
google avatar

Nicky D.

Yelp
Loved the store very organized and unique items... I was able to purchase an item for each of my family members and they loved them. I will be going back just wish they had the baseball hats available at the store but they also have an online store :)
google avatar

Vanessa V.

Yelp
Even though I wasn't able to come on opening day, I made sure to come asap four days after the opening. Martha herself was working! She was a one-woman show, single handedly helping customers to find sizes, ordering for them online what was out of stock in the store, working the register, and all with a smile on her face and a great attitude. She was very helpful, and I was finally able to get my "Miami mi Amor" shirt that I've been after for a long time. The decor inside is adorable, I love what she's done with the place. I'm very happy for her, and I know she will do very well moving forward!

Yelp
I have been saying I want to go into la tiendecita well....since opening day. I have been following Martha since her IG days and her croqueta tasting days. If Martha says a croqueta is good..then it's good. Now this "Latina AF" girl went ahead and opened up her own shop and honestly it's every Hispanics' happy place. While she has many items catered to the Cuban population (because she's Cuban herself) she doesn't leave other Hispanics behind. I am sure every Hispanic knows what "ropa vieja" is, and what "cojelo suave" insinuates too. But I am 100% sure every Miamian has had cafecito at some point while living in south Florida (even the "gringos" who refer to it as the "Cuban crack"). Therefore, there is something for everyone here. The store is ADORABLE and extremely authentic to the Miami culture. I have purchased from her online shop before but going in person to the store it's not just about shopping, it is also an experience. I bought 3 T-shirt's and a "Cuban bred" onesie for my niece along with a phone case. Yes, maybe she will be sold out of something you really like but you can either order it online or just wait for a restock. This tiendecita just gives us more options on how we can get our Miami pride fix. Congratulations Martha! Not only on the store but on your creativeness on capturing a lot of what makes us, Latin AF.

Yelp
I went today with my husband and my baby girl. it's simply one of cutest store I have seen in a long time. Fun, cool and unique. So MIAMI. Great customer service and the owner was very nice. I can't wait to go back and get more stuff. My baby will sure look cute in her croqueta onesie. Ps. If your hungry there are pastelitos, croquettes and the store will sure put a smile on your face.

Dorothy D.

Yelp
What a great store! I was looking for a gift and went there to check out the candles. They all smell divine! It was hard to choose but the Cafe Con Leche was really unique and outstanding. Got the domino box of matches to go with it because why not? Mission accomplished! The store looks great and the customer service was equally great. Absolutely worth checking out in person or online!
google avatar

Falyn H.

Yelp
I ordered a few things off the online store such as, masks, some cool pins for our JBL strap, a cafetera art piece by a local Miami artist, and my brother got a nice "305 till I die" t-shirt. Ordering online was smooth, masks fit PERFECT and the material is so soft. The artwork will make a great piece next to our future coffee corner. I love the Hispanic vibes here that only Miamians would understand. It would be cool to see something for us white folks raised in the 305 by the Cuban/Hispanic culture. Haha we are here and we are what you would call a "hybred" LOL! You also get points towards future orders when you register your email address. Happy shopping mi amigos!

Yelp
I've been following MoM on social media for years now and was super excited when La Tiendecita opened. It's in a perfect location on Bird Road in a strip mall with ample parking. Anything and everything Cuban American Culture can be found in La Tiendecita. We stopped in on a Saturday for a shirt for my daughter. The employees were extremely helpful and friendly. They even have a dressing room to ensure the perfect fit. My daughter liked the croqueta sticker almost as much as her new shirt. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Through posts on instagram, and word of mouth, I was very inclined to see what the hype was about. I popped in yesterday afternoon to check out La Tiendecita by Martha of Miami, and was very impressed. Cute decor, homey-vibe, I loved it. Located on Bird road in the Westchester area, this is the perfect place to come for any Cuban/Miami swag. Lucky me, the holidays are right around the corner, and I definitely scored! Christmas shopping done! Lol. The store has a ton of Cubano merchandise such as hats, shirts, sweaters, and more. There are little cafetera's decorated on shelves, and I definitely took my time walking around. Although there is a lot of merchandise that caters to the Cuban community, it does also have regular miami merchandise such as Florida International University swag, and some cool latino shirts as well. Cute stickers and pins adorn the shelves. I definitely recommend taking your time to look around, there's so much! For anyone visiting the area, or even if you aren't close by, but can make the drive, this is even a great place to come for souvenirs and gifts that really represent the area, instead of your average merchandise at the airport, or any south beach store. I definitely bought some great apparel and cannot wait to gift it!

Yelp
Passed by La Tiendecita today for their grand opening and loved it!! The store is super cute and had so many details that reflect the Latin culture. I've been a fan Martha of Miami's products for a while now. I can relate to most of her products and that is why I keep coming back. Martha definitely does a great job engraving the latin/Miami feel into her products. She has a variety of products such as hats, pins, shirts, socks and more! I'd recommend to pass by and check it out!
google avatar

Francisca N.

Yelp
I've been a follower of Martha of Miami for some time now, so of course I had to pass by her grand opening this past weekend. And I must say she did not disappoint! It was so cute and her attention to detail is always so much fun! You can tell she has put in so much hard work towards her business. Her support of the Latinx community is amazing. I can't wait to go back and buy some more merch!
google avatar

Alina G.

Yelp
The cutest store EVER! I was lucky enough to go to the opening day and it was beyond what I expected. The atmosphere, attention to detail and all employees were extremely welcoming! Also, the quality of each item is incredible! I am so proud of how this company has grown and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them.

Yelp
I had briefly heard about La Tiendecita (LT) on Yelp and IG, but when I saw a video segment on LT on "Deco Drive" I was convinced to go in and check it out. Now, I'm an old school Gringo born/raised in the Midwest. Having said that, I've been with my Cubana wife for 33 years and I must've driven up and down Bird Road 10,000 times when I was "on the job". I've downed many cafecitos at La Carreta, and had many meals at Sergio's and Rio Cristal. Basically, I'm feeling I can relate to the Westchester vibe. LT has managed to capture that "vibe" perfectly, and it's refreshing to see a store that has translated it into merchandise that's comfortable, practical, and funny "AF"! My visit entailed Christmas shopping for my 2 daughters, who embrace their half of Latinx heritage with much pride. I'm sure they'll enjoy showing off their shirts and hats in NYC and Houston! The tab for 3 t-shirts, 2 caps, 1 hair ribbon, and 2 pins came out to $157.24. This is a bit more than what I expected to pay, however overall, I had a very pleasant shopping experience at LT. As I was leaving, I even got to meet Martha and her huuuuuuge Great Dane fur baby! For fun merchandise for that special Cuban in your life, I would recommend La Tiendecita.

Yelp
I ordered a mask on Thursday and received it on Monday yes that fast thank you very much Martha of Miami you are the best. I love my Cuban Coffee mask!!!! Thank you!!!

Sahily Q.

Yelp
Soooo glad I visited this store! This not only brought me back to my childhood, but made my husband very happy with his new shirts! Even my neighbor loved his 305 sticker. Thanks for making this previous Miami girl feel at home and bringing her back to the good old days! You can take the girl out of Miami, but you cannot take Miami out of the girl
google avatar

Jose B.

Yelp
This is a small store and it gets packed really quickly. I was there at 11:15am and with about 10 customers it really felt crowded. There is very limited parking too. I had to park in the lot across the street and cross 6 lanes of traffic to go into the store. About $ 27 dollars per t-shirt, they are on the expensive side. But, i did get a free sticker just by checking in with the yelp app. Good, funny t-shirts that are a must if you have lived in South Florida. I will buy from them again, but i will buy them online
google avatar

Alexa F.

Yelp
I went to the Grand Opening of the store and so glad I did! The store itself is beautiful so much details and little things to look at! That I loved all the tees and being able to see them in person and not just online. That day I bought a denim "Miami AF" hat (that I wore as soon as I left) and 3 pins. My new favorite things, can't wait to go back to get more things! (It's on my way home from work so I'll definitely will be going by ALOT)
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
I made an online order for pick up and it was ready in less than week. La tiendicita is so darn cute! It's loaded with cute trinkets and decor that will give you instant flashbacks to your childhood. There is something for everyone that embraces the Latin culture in Miami.
google avatar

Zoe S.

Yelp
I love all the products. I ordered a few face mask and love the material. Also love that Martha also donates one I think that'd such an amazing way to give back. Also I had ordered a couple shirt for me and my husband and this was over 2 years ago and the shirts are still in amazing and great quality
google avatar

Leo C.

Yelp
Martha of Miami's "La Tiendecita" beats all expectations for locals and tourists alike. It has all your Miami needs from chic T-shirts to cafeteras. And keep your eye out for a portrait of Martha smoking a cigar. Absolutely legendary. Will return many times in the near future.
google avatar

Janet V.

Yelp
Met Martha today and she is so humble. All her merchandise is perfection and funny at the same time We will definitely be back for more goodies. #cubanroots
google avatar

Yelp
There just aren't enough words to express the all around amazingness that this little store is! I had always wanted something from Martha of Miami so when I realized she was opening up shop right in my backyard I couldn't have been happier. Let me just say, the store did not disappoint! There is no denying Martha poured her heart & soul into this little gem....you walk in and you immediately feel right at home. Thank you for opening this store for us...I'll def be back again real soon! Congrats and keep on rockin' it!
google avatar

Lia R.

Yelp
I love this little store. It brings me back to my roots. It's so organized, unique & makes me feel home. Great prices & sales. Something for everyone.

Cindy S.

Yelp
I love this store. It's everything you could imagine. Now the only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars would have to be the fitting of the shirts. Im usually a Medium and had to change 2 shirts for a Large. Now I recently had ordered another shirt which took around 2 weeks since they had to create it. I asked to switch it from a medium to a large due to the previous shirts not fitting. The sizing on the Miami Af shirt the large seems like a small. That's my only complaint is the material how it affects the sizing. Over all I love the store everything is great!
google avatar

Catherine C.

Yelp
I thought I'd check this place out because I thought it sold mostly fiu clothing for a cheaper price. However, I was disappointed that it mostly caters to cubans. Being Latin doesn't mean ONLY Cuban and that is what is disappointing. I understand if its owned by a Cuban, but considering Miami isn't JUST cubans, there should be a littIe more diversity. I would definitely like to see more fiu shirts.
google avatar

Anaruth S.

Yelp
Finally made my first purchase during the thanksgiving week and their stuff is so cute! I am personally not cuban but my boyfriend is, so i got him the cuban bread shirt in a Medium, as well as the Pesas & Croquetas shirt in a small. I bought myself the Miami AF shirt & I bought a few stickers that were super great quality as well! I would suggest upsizing for the shirts just in case. And if you get a chance visit their store in person! Its so nice, very well organized and the staff is super helpful! Will definitely be buying from here again!
google avatar

Zabrina G.

Yelp
Love this place! I passed by firstly to support her and her hard work and secondly to get my niece that lives out of the state 2 onesis for her baby twins.... it was the perfect gift. I also picked up a shirt for my teenage daughter that was with me and she also got stickers for her Hyrdo flask (fancy name for a metal water bottle, like really?). The shop is super cute and the customer service is fantastic. You're just not cool if you're not sporting Tiendecita merch, im sorry , I just had to say it... so, make your way over and yes they are closed on Mondays.
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
Amazing product. Will buy from again. Thanks Martha! Love that she is helping out our Frontline workers through this crazy pandemic.
google avatar

Barbara F.

Yelp
It is absolutely wonderful to see the younger generation embracing Cuban culture and a-meshing it with a fresh new Miami vibe. The exiled Cuban people were stripped of their heritage when we were forced out of our country. The United States embraced us and gave us shelter almost 60 years ago. This concept by @marthaofmiami delivers hope that "we" will live on for years to come Thank you!!!!!
google avatar

Miriam D.

Yelp
I have been a big supporter of Martha of Miami for a long time now. Her merch not only speaks to me as a Latina, but as a Miamian. Her FIU merch is adorable. It is definitely nothing like what you would see at the FIU Bookstore (Btw I'm totally not throwing shade at the bookstore. It's just more basic college merch, and that's okay.) because it relates FIU to pop culture or Latinx culture. It's unique. The store itself is adorable. I love (and want) all the things!
google avatar

Lourdes A.

Yelp
I've yet to visit la nueva Tiendecita but I have previously purchased some clothing items online. Have been a big fan of her work since the start! Martha perfectly captures our all around, heavily Cuban influenced, unique Miami culture. Proud to be a fellow Miami Cuban like you girl.... I can't wait to visit the store and see what else you have in store for us! Felicidades!! Support local!
google avatar

Anailyn E.

Yelp
Love everything that this store and owner stands for. After being a customer for years from her online shop I'm so happy to see her open up her own location in the heart of Miami. Can't wait to be back. There is no such thing as too many cafecito cups.
google avatar

Zoila S.

Yelp
Love their merchandise! Definitely recommended for all the Cuban loving citizens of Miami
google avatar

Myka F.

Yelp
So excited for this super fun shop! Love all the FIU merch! Wish you guys much success!!
google avatar

Laura G.

Yelp
Martica! I can't tell you how excited I was to attend the grand opening. Finally I don't have to hunt you down all over Miami to get some new stuff LOL! If you haven't gone to the store go check it out, it's has all the Miami vibes you need to feel right at home. Btw I saw a game of lotería I need to go back for it.
google avatar

G F.

Yelp
I haven't been to the actual store but been dying to go; sadly with COVID I doubt I'd go near any store. But I purchased a couple of things online and the UI was very user-friendly, checkout process easy and painless. It's cool that you get 10% off at sign-up and you can get rewards as you complete a few tasks such as, liking their pages on social media, purchasing things, etc. Impressed with the overall experience!
google avatar

Lilian J.

Yelp
My daughter and I love this cute little Tiendecita! Martha and her team are very friendly and helpful. Her clothing are excellent quality and really cute designs.
google avatar

Teri Kristine P.

Yelp
Best customer service I've seen in a while! Welcome to the neighborhood So happy to see such a welcoming and cultural shop on bird road. From the minute I walked in, @lasucculenta helped me pick the perfect onesie for my future godchild. At the register, Martha was super kind and down to earth Unplanned, my husband even came out winning with a "The Ibis Life Chose Me" tee.
google avatar

Denise D.

Yelp
As a fellow Cuban female entrepreneur, I find great honor is seeing the handwork Martha has put into La Tiendecita! Nothing better than having the ability to run in for a last minute gift ... maybe even go and splurge a bit on yourself.
