My favorite lunch spot In downtown Mesa.Great variety on the menu with lots of options. That was kind and worked very hard to get our food out quickly. Food tasted very fresh as well as delicious. I enjoyed that they have their own parking lot as parking can be tight sometimes in the area

The food was amazing and there was such a variety in what was offered on the menu as well. We especially loved the type of ambiance and decoration; it was different than what we typically see in a Mexican eatery! The staff was very nice too, we stayed for a long time and weren't pressured to leave or anything. Overall a really nice experience at La Tora Cafe!

The chile relleno torta was amazing! And those potatos? Wow. I definitely recommend coming to this wonderful cafe that has delicious food, a great staff, and cozy outdoor seating.

Food is sooooo...... good the tortas are a good size the salsas are on point and the service is pleasant

The food is simply delicious and the staff always have an excelent attitude. English, Spanish and even Portugese is spoken there.

Great variety of Tortas, the bread is really soft, great meat choices, and overall a really great place to eat.

This place is excellent. The outside sitting area is great and so is the ambiance. Once I ordered, my food was delivered within ten minutes and looked great. Everything they serve is delicious and comes in a huge proportion. My torta was so good, I loved it. My plate also came with in house made potato chips which were perfectly crisp and fresh. The inside could definitely be updated, but I overall enjoyed my experience and will surely come again. This is not your average Mexican restaurant.
