I travel all over NYC for work, and always search the bakeries for the best possible almond croissant. They make the best almond croissant I’ve tasted in three years! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and they make it right in their own shop. I had it warm right out of the oven. Go at 7:30 AM when they are at their best!

Great local pastry shop. There are a few chairs outside and the shop is pretty small but has a good variety of sweets. The baguettes here are amazing, as well as the Madeline's. The place may have a few downsides such as allergy restrictions and not enough seating, but overall I enjoyed the place.

I'm a native new yorker and I've been a resident of the upper west side for the majority of my life, the croissants are amazing and though a bit on the expensive side I make the weekly sacrifice just to be able to enjoy them on my Saturday mornings. They are delightful. The service however sucks. REALLY SUCKS!!!!! one person In particular who is usually working the counter is a complete embarrassment to the business and I have complained about her in the past. Each and every time I make a visit there I loathe the fact that I would even have to speak to her. She always says she's overwhelmed, yells at employees (mostly the delivery guy) and she also yells at customers. I have had enough of her additude I have even went as far as to complain to the late store owner who recently passed away; but she needs to go. Today I requested 3 croissants and a coffee when she decided to yell at me and tell me she was alone and overwhelmed and what I see is what I get. I kept my cool and them asked her to put 3 sugars in my coffee and she threw her hands in the air and told me to do it myself. How is that for customer service.

Excellent pastries! I used to come here just about every week and oscillated between the cheese danish, almond croissant, and sticky bun; they are all amazing. I recently moved away but still make the effort to stop by this bakery every time I am in the city.

I ordered a chocolate croissant and iced chai latte. The croissant was pretty good, though not enough chocolate for my liking. The iced chai latte was awful though- I'd honestly never order it again. The pricing was decent, but the $10 credit card minimum was very annoying. Also, the cashier there was sort of rude. All in all, I probably wouldn't return again nor recommend it to anyone.

Very warm and inviting. Excellent French Onion soup, wonderful sandwiches and croissants. A delight. Definitely a welcome place to come in out of the cold and enjoy some old world delights and charm.

So the service may be curt here, but when I was part of a student group at Columbia raising funds for a benefit concert, they gave us free croissants, no strings attached. "Surly-generous" is how I'd put it. And the croissants themselves were rather excellent; a fresh one here rivals one like Maison Kayser's.

The best fresh baguette I had in years! Coffee is perfect. Pastries are fresh and delicious. Service is normal nothing to complain, they speak spanish too.
